  2. Team Xbox held on to the Crucible ones until we knocked out the Nightfall again (good old Rat King) And we were able to pick them up at the same time.

  4. I imagine as everybody gets to the end of the story it would be good to get their thoughts on what they felt to the Story specifically. My opinion was it was very well made. Let's face it, it was actual story this time round, rather than not one in D1. In terms of running through it, if I'm honest, it started out better than it ended. It could've been a little more monumental at the end, however I was still feeling like it was a good and solid story. Personally, I think I would've rated it higher if it was just me having to go through the challenges as in a fireteam I think you can get away with being very slack - also most probably because we as gamers at FG know the basic mechanics very well so it's more straightforward to overcome. The cutscenes were great, no news on the Speaker. I'd argue he isn't dead but we won't know for some time. The ending cutscene after a million names in the credits was great and inviting to, hopefully, the DLC or even sooner. It looked like Vex? Maybe even a different race perhaps? (Probably too much too ask for that one). Overall, a solid 8 out of 10. Possibly 7.5 if I was being really strict. Now comes the real grind.

    Public Events

Sitting in a pub beer garden this afternoon in the sunshine. Big cloud covers the sun, darkens the day , my immediate thought is 'public event'. Too much destiny !

  6. Not a problem Dave, I will give ut some thought although as you say, I'm knee deep in Destiny currently and I want / need to put some admin time in here to build on stuff we have to support Minecraft, Destiny and the everything else. I'll find a nice night in the early hours where I'm not disturbed and will commit to some ideas and time [emoji106] Via the FG App

  8. So sucky that we're capped on clan XP by person and by week. If you're below 265, don't grab Hawthorne's drops if you can help it. Her engrams can roll way up, and it was a major gain for me. Working up to 280.

  9. There is a weekly mission that drops powerful gear for hitting the personal max contribution of 5k. So it worth doing as powerful gear can drop above the normal legendary cap.

  10. Amen. I do want England to do well but my gut to be truthful just wants the best leagues in the world to watch. I believe we have the top 2 in the world. Based on TV viewings I think that's pretty much accurate. Via the FG App

    An announcement

Well, I've been thinking about this for ages and I think it's time for me to step down as the site's main admin. First off let me say that this is a step which has been deliberated for months, and it's a very big move for me. We started this place together and made it our home, we have grown to become a family and I'm grateful for all the folks I've met on here. That said, I'm not going anywhere, and my reasons for this move will be explained shortly. I'll still be the site founder, I'll still be here, but I think my time as admin has been served and with @GazzaGarratt looking after the place, the site is in good hands and I'm confident he'll continue to be the admin this family needs and deserves. My reason for leaving is a personal one which has many aspects, the most important and biggest one being time and limited access. My degree resumes in October which takes up a considerable amount of my free time, and my overtime is showing no signs of stopping any time soon so I'd rather Lee take over full time. On top of this, I've neglected the forum considerably over the last few months which gives me a guilty conscience about it because I feel I should be doing more. This in turn makes the forum a bit of a sour aspect for me which is a huge contributing factor of me not posting much. By removing that responsibility once more and hopping in the passenger seat, I will be more likely to post as I can come here and chill out without thinking of what needs to be done. The site started off as a project I did mainly on nights when I worked at BT which meant I had tons of time and access 24/7. My new job means I work 7 days a week almost all the time and access to FG is restricted, which makes it a pain in the arse to post or do anything. This coupled with the guilt I feel for neglecting the place and my arsed runs out very soon. Not sure what else to say really. This has been a massive part of my life for a long time, it was my baby and I nurtured it to become one of the best places for us gamers to hang out on the web, but sadly my life has changed and rather than cling on to it like a first born child and neglect it until people start leaving (again), I'm handing it over to Lee once and for all. As I said I'll still be here, I'm not going anywhere, I'm just relieving myself of the responsibility so I can focus on my studies and my career and not suffer the guilt of letting the place go to shit. Apologies for the long wall of text, I can't even begin to tell you how much this means to me, but it's time and I can't think of a better owner than Lee. I love you all! Cheers, Dids

  13. I have zero complaints so far. It's amazing in every way. The shader thing is an odd choice. But the story is sooo much better. The guns sound great. The game is beautiful. I'm loving it. Via the FG App

  14. -The graphic are nice. -I like how much larger the planets are. -I like how you don't have to go to orbit anymore to change destinations. -I like how instead of a stupid mote of light you get a bright engram when leveling up at 20. -As mentioned above, I love how we don't have all these blue engrams we have to turn in every 30 minutes. -Loving the variety of Crucible game modes. -I wish they would utilize some of map space at the farm/tower. More vendors or something. -Yay! We don't have to waste time trying to find public events anymore. -I found the story boring and the bad guy underwhelming. He looked like he came out of Overwatch or something. Cute. -I love how we have to travel to just start a mission. I've gotten side tracked so many times doing this. -Vehicle missions. [emoji106] -Tokens, planet collectibles, and gunsmith parts, I love that just by collecting these things you can turn them in to gain rep and get a legendary. Makes you actually want to collect things. Now bring on clans, factions and raids. [emoji119] Via the FG App
