  1. Sarah and I gave this a go over the weekend and it's really fun. Reminds me of a prettier ultimate alliance. I know a few there have rocked this one too. Thoughts?

  2. I'm interested to see if the difficulty increases at all in a party, because the story missions feel a bit facerolly right now. I played two or three hours and got myself over level 20. The cap seems to be 60. Hopefully there's some endgame stuff as well, otherwise it's just a grindfest to level up all the heros and min-max gear. You can patrol midtown NY to level, get some gear (don't know how good it is at higher levels), and eternity splinters (used to unlock characters without spending real money). There's public events where you fight various villians i.e. Crossbones, Black Cat, Manhunters. They are more difficult and you definitely benefit from several people fighting at once. The cut scenes are done nicely. They aren't full action; kind of more like close ups of comic panels with a bit of movement to them. It's still technically in beta, so there's glitches. I've only had one instance where a notification that I can pick something up wouldn't go away, even after a loading screen. The only other issue I find is that the tooltips that pop up to explain a new thing are in boxes that are somewhat see through, so I don't always notice them until right before they start to fade away. I've missed out a few explanations for higher level features because of that. Nothing a Google search won't fix, though.

    Marvel Heroes Omega

It was fun, sort of a less loot intensive Diablo 3 Ghost rider was goofy, I need to try out Colossus still. I would be on board with playing with others, and I know my son wants to play as well. I would only trust you guys with him though.

  4. Yep he can claim as many stakes as he likes but all the "I'm doing my own thing and maybe I'll help out you guys when I feel like it" vibe means his structures might as well be made of straw and yes, I'm the big bad wolf

    Additional Stuff!

So two things I didn't tell you I did was to install MCMMO and OtherDrops MCMMO makes everything into a skill, as well as gives you special abilities, that will activate either randomly, or when you right click once with a tool in hand. OtherDrops adds in other drops! you can get glowstone dust from dirt, fish from sand, mining tools from mining, and just a ton of other stuff. /commands in game Everyone can set a home, which you can warp to. /sethome sets the location and /home allows you to warp Everyone can set 3 other warps as well. /setwarp {name} to set /warp {name} to warp Everyone can also Teleport to other players. /TPA {playername} The player that is being teleported to will get a notification, and they will be told the command to type in to allow the teleport to happen If you press F7, then the ground will be covered in red and yellow X Red means that monsters WILL spawn there. Yellow means they might. If no X is present, then no chance of spawning there. Place torches to keep yourself protected.

  6. We should establish some basic do and don't do instructions to help with stuff like this. Do we mine in this world? I know there was mention of going elsewhere for mining....but in my limited time so far I've established a mine in the side of a hill and been digging down a bit. Plus I checked the images Bart and i'm on board with that 100% Let's get medieval[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Half busted tree's?

This was right at the spawn, like within 2-3 chunks. Dont' be afraid to move out and about guys. I want to build the spawn up to a point where we maybe get others involved on the server, and then spread the cost of running it all around even more. To do that, we need to have a decent spawn point. Here are examples of things I am thinking of trying to do for us https://www.google.com/search?q=minecraft+spawn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwja7Y_U8KfUAhXI7SYKHSA3CbsQ_AUICigB&biw=1920&bih=990

  10. Just thought I'd put some of the fighting game Terminology below for people to understand some of the mechanics if they are not familiar awith it it: Crossup - A jumping attack that land on the other side from which you jumped. Extremely difficult to defend as you will generally be blocking in the direction of the jump Cancel - Inputting another command/attack whilst the animation of the previous attack is in progress. This cancels the full animation of the attack whilst still giving the full damage and enabling a link to another attack Meter - A total of 4 bars that can be accrued over the course of the fight to give different affects Meter Burn - Using a bar of the special meter to give an extra affect to the special moves. Trait - A special ability unique to each character which will affect how they perform for a short period of time or give a unique ability 1/2/3 Buttons - To make remembering combos easier the buttons are often referred to as 1 - Light, 2 - Medium and 3 - Heavy. This aids in cross platform confusion 50/50 - An attack string that can result in an overhead or a low attack. Therefore giving the defender a 50/50 chance of getting the block string correct Safe - A string of moves that, if blocked, cannot result in you being hit in completion Punishable/Unsafe - A string of moves that, if blocked, can result in the opponent punishing with a free attack if timed correctly Armour - The ability to absorb an attack without the resulting knockback/knockdown but will still take the damage Anti Air - The ability to deal with an enemy jumping in Projectiles - Any attack that fires a projectile which travels across the screen independent of the activating character Footsies - Keeping the range between the characters at a safe distance with the hope of getting a small hit in. Chip - The amount of damage taken when blocking attacks from an opponent Combo/String - A series of attacks that link together without any interruption Throw tech/escape - Pressing the throw button just after the opponent has initiated a throw will result in a throw escape Hit confirm - Performing a safe attack, recognising that this has hit and then going on to perform the Unsafe portion of the combo Juggle - Performing a combo whilst the target is airborne from a previous attack/combo. Therefore juggling them in the air where they are defenseless

  11. There's a pretty number of characters to play. After the tutorial get receive enough eternity splinters to unlock one character. You can change to any character at S.H.E.I.D. HQ and play as them, but you can't change out characters when you're out and about unless you've unlocked them. There aren't really any support characters in the traditional sense. I've only played as Captain Marvel so far, and she has a self-heal you can use after a short timer. I assume other characters have it as well. There are also items to can equip that will also heal others a bit as well, but I'm unclear if it is only for party member or anyone friendly within range. There's a pretty good number of characters to play, some of which surprised us a bit, i.e. Angela (Chad was more surprised/impressed with this than I b/c I had no idea who she was. She was originally in Spawn if you are like me and unfamiliar with her) and Blade. It's a nice mix between characters seen on TV and in movies as well as those most people might not be as familiar with if they don't read comics. Full list: Angela Ant-Man Beast Black Panther Black Widow Blade Captain America Captain Marvel Colossus Cyclops Daredevil Deadpool Dr. Strange Gambit Ghost Rider Hawkeye Hulk Iceman Iron Fist Iron Man Jean Grey Kitty Pryde Luke Cage Magik Moon Knight Nova Psylocke Punisher Rocket Racoon Scarlet Witch She-Hulk Spider-Man Squirrel Girl Starlord Storm Thor War Machine Wolverine There's also multiple skins you can buy for everyone, though it does seem like they missed out on a couple skins that could have been great i.e. Captain Marvel and Storm. On the flip side, they also included skins for what people are used to seeing in current screen media as well as classic costumes (omg... Blade's original costume. Thank you Wesley Snipes for making it better). I'm not really one for microtransactions, but if I enjoy playing them enough I can see myself buying skins for Squirrel Girl's current costume, for Old Man Logan, and possibly Angela.

    Additional Stuff!

Thats awesome Phil! Some other things I did. Game is set to normal level difficulty, but I changed a game rule. If you die, you keep your inventory. Also with Journeymap mod, when you die it should place a waypoint for where you died. If these two things don't happen, let me know please.

  18. I had a go of this round my brother-in-law's and it is fun - it brings back the enjoyment of early burnout. Trying to work out how to hit the perfect lines to start crashes off but to be able to get around and cause more and hit the bonuses! I will be buying it next time I get on the PS4.

  19. Update - I'm just trying to find an american polo shirt provider that's relatively decent but cheap. I also just want to try and just double check the UK size is what you'd expect. I'll nip to one of the local people to try on one of the samples.

  20. I also use Avast though i'd also use something like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware loaded on a usb to clear shit out too.

  21. AVG is shit, get Avast antivirus That being said, can you get to the library, and do you have a USB thumb drive? (If libraries over there don't have internet, then IDK man) If so, go download the removal tool, and Avast, and then go back home, and save your laptop

  22. 6 dead 48 injured. Too many frustrated and angry thoughts to share. I'll channel it all up so if one day I get to see one infront of me they can get the full force of how this makes me feel. Thoughts are with the families of the ones that lost their lives.
