2. The whole point of Bitcoin is to get away from the current banking system, not pander to it. There are also about 40 different cryptos available, which can all be mined and traded, all hopig to steal a piece of the Bitcoin pie. Some are silly, some are scams, and some are actually trying to be successful. These aren't governed by some secret order, lizard men or the illuminati. These are currencies which are started up by average joes like you and me. There is a reason why banks and governments are against the crypto revolution, and why some banks are trying to put a patent on them so they can take charge and regulate them. The price of Bitcoin is fairly stable at the moment which is irritating because I trade them. I expect them to go up and down by factor of 5 so I can make massive amounts of them. Bloody things. I honestly believe that this is the future, and I honestly hope it's going to make me rich.

  3. I would say Frankie is partly responsible for the success of DayZ. His vids get massive views and always have done. Some of the hero worship he gets is a bit over the top but personally I think he makes great videos.

  4. Awesome seshes we have had as of late lads, feels great to be just fucking about like back on Mw3. Running support has been a blast waiting for everyone to get the support squaddie and calling them in together to have a 12 man team and trying to get the final killcam with the maMAAWS! The Team Camp session was hilarious, it felt dirty but also amazing to get some payback on the piece of shit CoD community. Knife only Search made a return last night and it was awesome, although I wish we had MW3s portable radar. Highlight of the session for me was me and Glen trying to escape the dog on prison break by climbing up on the portaloo! If there is any other crazy ideas you guys have for us to do just post them here. I'm definitely up for more of the above and would love some Team Riot or Hidden Masters.

  5. I admit, I have been interested in this game for some time. I have never played it though. And I probably won't until they release a ps4 version (which would be amazing) But, I stumbled across this guy's channel late one night at work (graveyard shift) and even though I don't play the game, I'm really digging these videos. He has a whole playlist so follow through to the channel if you enjoyed this episode. Each episode has a theme or "mission" so to speak. You guys who play Dayz will know what I mean.

  6. What I don't understand is:- What are you mining exactly? If there is a finite number of Bitcoins, how can you mine them and who determines what this finite number is?

  7. There are too many kids trying to be the next big thing nowadays, and although funny the first few times, trolling gets tedious as fuck. If you're looking for a decent Youtuber, Devildoggamer is pretty good. Avoid anything with Rhinocrunch in it, that dude's a class A dickhead.

    Mining Cryptocurrencies

Where do you see this thing going? You say there are 40 different types, how does one become "trustworthy" to a society. That's the only thing that keeps money and currency alive, is faith in its value. Gold/Silver have a long history of retaining value so in my eyes, they are the only thing that can be considered "Real Money" - everything else is only temporary until something else comes along that the people believe in.

  9. I'm just saying Dave, I don't trust it. Hopefully you're right. You didn't have to bring Illuminati and Lizardmen into the equation though. I'm not that crazy, lmao.

  12. Because you're running a graphics card at 100% load all the time. Having said that, I unloaded all my coins and bought an MSI R9 290 Gaming Edition. It gets almost triple what I was getting with my 770. I did at one point have both cards singing in harmony in my system, but the 770 was hitting 96deg. on the chip. Not healthy. I've undervolted the 290 slightly to reduce the heat and consumption, and I'm still getting about 860k/hash per second, whereas the 770 wouldn't go over 330 no matter what I tried. I also have a script which trades automatically for me, and makes a little bit of profit every time it kicks in. It runs every 5 minutes and takes transaction fees into account so unless there's enough of a gap in the market to make a profit, it remains dormant. This morning, it made a few trades which put me 0.01BTC in profit, which as of right now is about $10. Not bad for a bit of software code which I don't touch. I will say that this is a hobby. It's not a case of plug in and get money, it requires some time and dedication to set it all up, and that's assuming you have the necessary kit. Once it's running however, it's pretty much cash in the bank. My new graphics card cost me nothing, although I did pay for the electricity out of my regular bank account. As it stands right now, I'm making about £60 a month in profit after my electric is paid. The whole cryptocurrency scene is booming and very interesting but don't expect to hop in and go. It takes tons of research, tons of time, and tons of patience. I'm at the point now where I can fire up my miner and run a profit immediately, but it's taken me almost two months to hit this point. It's great fun. I really enjoy doing this. If anyone has any questions please ask, I'll explain the answers as best I can.

  14. Labradors. They're smart. Very smart. Great with kids. Fun. And yeah, they bark like mad if someone comes up to your house. I love some of the other suggestions, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Dobermans, but Labradors are my first choice for a good family dog that will still bark at anyone who isn't supposed to be there.

  17. Ok. So here's the story. I was still in the Marines at the time, and like I mentioned earlier, part of my job was dealing with explosives. The day before I was to go on leave for Thanksgiving we had a day at the demo range. It was a fun day - who can say that a day blowing up shit for no reason isn't fun. So, as one might guess, we used the standard Grunt explosives. C4 and Det cord. I remember at one point we were standing around a table building something (probably a shape charge) and had some det cord left over. Well, like any good Marine, we wanted to investigate it some more, so we cut it open to see what was inside. For those that don't know, inside det cord (or more formally detonation cord) is nothing but explsoive powder. Either RDX or Petin - I can't quite remember. And like the smart Marines are played with it for a bit. So, that sounds like no big deal right. Get a a little explosive powder on your hands - wash it off. Well...since I was going on leave the next day, when we got back to the barracks the first thing I wanted to do was pack. So I did...before showering. Needless to say some of the expolosives transfered from my hands to my clothes. Did I mention that tt was right before the Thanksgiving right after 9/11. If you traveled around that time you should remember the intense checks you had to go through before you boarded a plane. They had (and I've still seen from time to time) these little wands with a piece of cloth on them that they rubbed all over you luggage and anything inside your luggage. So, they proceeded to stick the cloth inside the machine that detects explosives, and uh...yeah...the machine started to flash red lights and blink and all sort of crap that basically labeled me as a terrorist. The woman running the machine nearly had a heart attack and literally says to me "wait right there while I get my supervisor." Seriously? Some dude test positive for a number of explosives and you tell him to wait there...Well, I did since I could completely explain myself, but seriously?!?! I ended up talking with her supervisor and explained what the situation was and give him the number to the CO. He called and confirmed my story, but not before going through my entire suitcase, every shirt pocket, inside every sock, turning everything inside and out. They ended up letting me board the plane but for about the next 7 or 8 years, everytime I went through security, I ended up in the "random" extra screening area....wonder why
