Merry Christmas to everybody on this forum I've only been on here a couple of months but it has been a real blast with everyone! Thank you all for making me feel so welcome and I wish you all the best tomorrow and for the rest of the year. A big shout out to Dave for his work and dedication on the forum this year and to everyone else for their wonderful contributions.

So anyone interested in new electronics and gadgets? I am and I will be attending the CES for the first time. I'm going to try and take pictures if I can if I don't get hung up with the toys all around me. I may borrow a GoPro and take short clips of cool stuff I see and the put it into a compilation. Anyone interested in any new things that are coming out? Let me know and if I see it I try and produce pics/vids of that new thing.

Spawned in Balota which in hindsight is in incredibly good spawn. After looting a few houses I spotted a Hanger in the distance so I made my way towards that. After approaching carefully, I made my way through each and every bunker room finding, not one, not two, not three but FOUR M4A1's! But no Ammo. Fuck. I made my way across the airfield to inspect the buildings opposite and I found a nice bit of Ammo for my M4 and some green gear so now I blend in a bit better. Moving further forward I was feeling thirsty so I crouched down to check my inventory jsut outside of a town. During this period I got slapped by a zombie causing me to bleed, a lot. I logged out near death and under a staircase.

And they wonder why they're flopping. Did they ever think of simply undercutting or matching the competition? I also pre-ordered BF4 at Eurogamer and was told I'd get free stuff which never materialized. They're a shambles on a very steep hill.

In all honesty the mod is far better at the moment. Now I'm geared up and have supplies all I can do is hunt the few other people on each server. Atleast in the mod you can make camps, take vehicles etc. It may be worth it to just wait till it's at a later stage.

The M4's are actually pretty common at the airfield. I headed north to the NW Airfield to raid the military tents. There's a fuckton (And I mean a fuckton) of ammo there. I also got my silencer and a few other things there. Do you know about making rags to use as bandages? Just take off your shirt if you're that desperate and turn them into rags, could save you. Good luck man!

Have you tried The Money Shop or Wonga? It's pretty good; all you do is borrow £20 and you can pay it off during the year. I think the total to be paid will be something like £27,328.66p but at least you'll have DayZ for Christmas I'd stick to the mod for the time being and if you have a bit of dosh floating around after new year, it's worth a punt even in this state. You're not missing out on too much at present though
