  1. Ladies and Gentlemen and Euan, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are knocking on the festive season's doorstep, and that means festivities, family, friends, and perhaps most importantly, free games and gaming stuff! I personally have a decent stock of PC games to give away which I will be chucking in to the pot, but should anyone else wish to contribute towards making this an awesome festive season for all our members, you will notice that I have added a little donate button to the homepage. I would like to stress that I have this (almost) fully covered, but when it comes to gifts, the more, the merrier, right? If you are in a festive mood and would like to contribute something towards the pot of free stuff and joy, by all means go ahead. All the gifts will remain in this community so if you donate something, you can rest assured that it'll most likely go to someone you know. Whilst there is a monetary option, I am also collecting any game vouchers, PSN / XBL codes, or anything that can be sent over the internet and keeping them safe for when the day comes to hand out the gifts. The goal on the donation bar is purely for token purposes, I am unfortunately unable to create a donation option without having a target. I set it at 100 dollars to be safe, but should we surpass this, I will reset it and we can start again. I will personally be throwing in some funds here and there, and I'll also pick up a few PSN and XBL cards next time I go shopping, so when the winners open their games or consoles on the big day, you'll have some credit to go with them. We have come a long way since we all met, but one thing we can say for sure is that those of you who are here, right now, are all some of the nicest people I have ever met, and without you, none of this would be possible. To all the new guys, I'd like to welcome you all once again, I'm sure you'll fit right in in what can only be described as one of the nicest gaming communities in the world. Thank you all for reading, I hope you guys will all join me in celebrating the first proper festive season for Forever Gaming, and thanks for all your support. Stay classy Forever Gaming! Much love, Dave

  2. .... a shell casing from a 105mm artillary Light Gun engraved with his regimental crest which actually I think is pretty cool !! Casing stands 33cm (13") tall, weighs just over 3kg (~7lb) and has just become a family heirloom!

    Batman: Arkham origins

So we have the 3rd installment of the Batman: Arkham series... Unfortunatly I haven't got to play it very much over the weekend despite getting it Friday, and to my surprise a special edition turned up and I only payed standard price, that was nice... From the little I have played, you will find a lot of the locations and places it sends you to early on are identical or very much the same as the previous instalments, they are all set in the same city after all... Some of the parts early on do seem very linear, there isn't anywhere to go wrong on a long windy corridor... This soon ends and your back out into the city where you can go where you like. As I say a lot of what I have seen so far gameplay wise is very much the same as the previous titles, surely that's a good thing. I'm only on the second boss right now (Deathstroke) and it's soo hard I'm on around attempt 20-25 trying to defeat him... I like the story so far already, the voice acting as always is excellent, the gameplay is great as in previous titles and it's good I see some new faces new characters, a lot of whom I didn't know... They were never in the cartoons I ever saw, probably in the comics... The game gives good detailed info on them all too, it's great reading the little profiles for each of the characters you meet... I definatly recommend this game to almost anyone, especially those that enjoyed the previous 2, you can't go wrong... This title also has an online mode, however I cannot tell you what that is at this time, I'll certainly get around to it... I'll post some further thoughts as I progress through the game...

    Survive the Extinction

http://bit.ly/1hniCm4 Is it me or is it getting a bit silly now? Zombies first then aliens... Don't get me wrong it will be good I'm sure, and no doubt I'll play it, but I just feel if I wanted a space alien shooter I would go out and buy 1... Perhaps I'm just being miserable, I don't know...

Replant them if you take from them. Its a PITA to log on and have to replant entire sections again.

    "Pinging..." Fix

Use "ForeverGaming.nn.pe:25565" instead of "193.35.58.72:25586" I don't know what the difference is or anything, I'm not a minecraft or computer wizard. But this worked for me.

    Roads

If you want a road to your place (As we don't have minimaps currently under 1.7.2), let me know and I will build one in creative for you. There are a few floating around already. If you have a specific style and its not something silly, make a small section of it and post a pic, I will use it as the template for area.

    Enough

Okay...I'm the "old guy" so let me interject some HOPEFULLY wisdom into this thread or not lol. Anyway... First off...I did not read past the first post from Dave, why, I didn't need too do so. Because I see 40 replies, I didn't read them, yet I bet I know EXACTLY what they all say....it was Dave saying to stop the childish stuff and then 40 replies saying sorry Dave didn't mean it. Am I close? Listen, I have ran 3 websites for the past 10 years....been there done that basically, seen/done it all. BUT....get this.....I can tell you with 100% certainly I know what makes a website stand the test of time (hence why my sites are 10+ yrs still to date) and what makes a site last.....members that care/like it. Just like I see most the guys here do, you all for the most part care, so seriosuly lets all stop the kidish BS and "he said/she said" and "here's why this guy left Blah blah fuckin blah"....know what, be a man. Enjoy the site, enjoy the friends, enjoy the outlet Dave has given us. Seriously I'm 42 yrs old, when something happens to me, one of the things (maybe second or third) that I think of is posting it here...why? Because I consider all you guys friends. So I want you all to know what goes on in my life. Guys like Dave, Tommy, Jay, Doc, Adam, even Fracee hell I could go on and on. I even though I have never meet these people in person I still think of you guys to share shit will, if I didn't then I would not even be here. So I'll be the one to say this. Stop all the childish bullshit. We have a great site here where we can all enjoy, Dave provided it to us, at his cost, so lets repay him by at least showing how we like/enjoy it because I bet he would enjoy that. That's all I got to say.
