Recording gameplay on ps3

Been wanting to capture some gameplay on ps3 but there seems to be no way to do it without a weird work around any ideas?

I've never recorded on my PS3 before. What recoding software have you got?

I used to use a capture card, not sure how else you’d be able to do it. Will try and find out when I get a chance!

I was an xbox gamer last gen so have no experience with the PS3 but I would guess that a capture card is going to be the only way.

Easiest way to record PS3 gameplay is to use an old JVC camcorder or get someone to record the screen with their Nokia phone. If those fail, a capture card is the only other option.

wow ok i wont try that then ill just record on ps4 its a heck of a lot eaiser thanks for the feedback all
