FG Monthly Game Nights

Morning All!

 

The reason why this place is so great is we have many MANY game sessions together on the fly which makes for awesome laughs so I think we should set some monthly game nights/days so we can try and get as many of us all together - that way I hope people that miss out, as its last minute or are struggling to find times to party up with anybody, can join in.

I'm happy to arrange things and I want everyone's suggestions please. We will utilise the calendar on the website so you can RSVP. Even older game ideas please so if you want a CoD reunion night on PS3 or other consoles lets hear it. I already will make the folllowing if you all agree:

 

Overwatch Custom Games - Max 12 players

Destiny Custom Crucible - Max 12 players

Destiny Raid Night - Max 6 (Can get 2 teams against each other like our awesome UK v NA one we had)

GTA Races Night - Max 16 players

 

Once I've got all your feedback we'll start looking into it and arrange things like streaming via Twitch and recordings. We may even use Discord if needed if we can do this.

We should look into a board game or cards against humanity online games. Not crazy pc needed but dozens of us can play at once and laugh like hell.

Friday is the only evening I rarely can make but I should be around most of the other days.  As long as I have the game I am up for playing it with you lot.

 

Robs idea of board games would be fun, I think Cards Against Humanity with a group of us would be hilarious.

We'll look at weekends Pat. We could even do long time periods if its in advance because people can put some hours aside to play at your times i'm sure.

Yeah, we should be in a position to start using this for notifications easier and chat groups. Rob has done a great job getting a structure set up.

I'll dedicate some time to setting up some game nights in the diary on the above basis.

Can someone give us a hand with the Cards against humanity ones please? I can probably look at the rest of them.

I downloaded Discord and created a log in etc. I think I have it set up correctly but no-one was online to chat with so I am not 100% sure.

 

As for playing Cards Against Humanity, you can play online at www.pretendyoure.xyz and you can play private games so we could limit it to just FG.  It is also possible to add some custom cards too for some truly terrible cards thought not too sure on how that works.

Send a message in discord to @everyone and it will give users a notification. When I see it I will chat back so we can test it out. Discord is up 100% of my day.

Sorry, I assumed that text chat was working simply because I could see it.  I meant the voice chat, there didn't seem to be too many settings so presume it will work fine.

Morning all, so it would still be handy to get someone to have a look at the Cards Against Humanity game night. Even if they can setup the website and private game room, I can see if I can do the rest on here.

 

Also, @Baabcat and I were chatting the other day about some 3v3 elimination play on Destiny? I could even set up a little tournament for us all on that.

 

Other than that i'm trying to look at the best day for GTA racing. Looking like a Tuesday me thinks. Any objections? I'll set it up shortly and just shout up if you can't.
