Looks pretty good! A lot of Hitman DNA unsurprisingly but the levels look like they have some massive scale. Performance looks a bit rough but at least it’s a legitimate gameplay presentation

Haven't you played their Hitman games before Phil? You can literally be a master stealth assassin by distracting elite military guards by throwing coins🤣

I know its easy to hammer this, but in a weird way it reminds me of when you feel you don't want to watch a really thought provoking movie, so you just find the best simplistic action movie from the 80s/90s because you know what to expect. It feels comfortable and for those reasons, I actually look at and think I'd defo play this 🤣🤣

 

Just like Mafia games, a simple level design with basic combat. Lets hope its an easy Platinum @slamminbones👀

 

That being said, I wouldn't pay AAA prices at all. Pretty sure 1-2 months afterwards, the game will be on sale around £40.

Seems decent enough, like a cross between Hitman and Uncharted. I wouldn't pay 60/70 quid for it, it's less than 20 hours long, but in a sale in a year or two I might be tempted.

I just watched Mack's review on WAB and he's the only one that has really pulled the game apart. I still can't get over that it's basically just Hitman-lite. The combat looks incredibly ropey and the AI looks absolutely diabolical. Doesn't look at all like a Bond-type game and looks more like a shell of HItman and Uncharted from Temu slapped over it. I think a lot of reviews have been very kind and whether that's based on low standards or because of their previous excellent work with Hitman, I just don't know. I may pick it up down the line for £15 but this really isn't a £60 title.

Honestly it's looking like what I expected. I am sure it is fun enough to play but these triple A games are competing with less expensive games that play just as well and often have things these titles don't, good story, new mechanics and such. I only have so much time for gaming and have quite the backlog currently so my new game expenditure has dropped right off.

 

For me the perfect Bond game would build upon what was done in Alpha Protocol years back.
