Rumours are that Bethesda are about to shadow drop this remaster. Could be any day in the next couple of weeks.

I love the original, I'll wait until I see something of the remaster before thinking of getting it.

Great game but I hope they do a proper remaster and not some sort of Skyrim 'Enhanced'/'Legendary' version where it looks inferior to even mods that were created by students in their spare time.

My brain power is probably nowhere near any good anymore for these games but it really was my favourite Bethesda game. I may dig out my Oblivion tutorial playthrough book I got at 20 odd years ago for it.

Remake or remaster...I hear it's a bit of both. Leakers say it may drop next Tuesday but we'll see...

Thats what i've just seen too. Just comes out straight away with no wait until release. I wonder when/if it will come out on PS5?

They would be pretty dumb not to release on all platforms at the same time particularly with their new mantra of playing their games on whatever device you like...

Possibly goes live today at 5pm

It's been a long time since I played Oblivion, first game I bought with the Xbox 360. Played the absolute fuck out of it.

There was a lot of grinding I seem to remember but I ended the game being able to run at incredible speeds, could walk on water and it was when I was able to make myself invisible that kind of killed the game for me.

I do remember being contacted by the Dark Brotherhood very early on after I accidentally killed an NPC 🙂

Rumoured to be a 120gb download btw

With all of the leaks proving to be true I would be very surprised if it's not dropped on the store straight after the reveal. I do wonder though if they may make it a timed thing i.e. it won't come to game pass for 2 months or something to instigate some sales from those over eager to play it.

I loved this game originally so quite excited for it but have enough to play at the moment, be interesting to see if it comes to Playstation at all and if so again will there be a delay on the PS release.

And it's released 🙂

50 quid on Steam but I've got the PC GamePass so it's installing already.

I'll probably buy it on Steam if i like it...

Definitely not paying £50 so I will keep my eyes on the key sites for when distribution kicks in. Looks pretty decent but I'll wait to see what the reviews say. A nice surprise regardless

I'm very happy with it so far, and I'm getting 80 fps on medium settings at 1440p.

I aside from a couple of niggles I think they have exceeded my expectations. I'm playing this on gamepass right now but as soon as I see it for 40 quid or less I'm picking up the Steam version.

From all the clips I've seen it seems to be one of the best rematsered versions of a game out there. Everything looks so enhanced and they haven't lost much of the fun from the original game. I may wait for a small sale to grab it but its on my list now as its got to be worth it.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Playing on PC via gamepass tight now but I'm going to buy the Steam version this week.

The gamepass character I can still play on Xbox as it has cross save but it'll be a new character on Steam.

I'm currently a Breton Spellblade, but might make myself a sneaky archer on Steam.

My Steam character is a wood elf and the class is assassin this time. Can use bow very well and blade decently, plus I'm going to level up destruction too. Such a great game 🥰

I havne't played Oblivion in a million years, but just acquired this. I know I will start off heavy armor, two handed, to slowly morph into stealth archer.

The mechanics are good, taking out foes from distance with a bow while crouched is very very satisfying 🤗

Finally installing this today.... might need to renew my subscription to Nexus Mods

I have too many games to play at the moment unfortunately, this and Clair Obscur both got a little gametime but I have opted to complete games I have on the go currently before coming back to them. Both certainly hit the right spots though!

I need to get Clair still. I keep forgetting it

I uninstalled Destiny 2 yesterday, the "reveal" was garbage, just like the game these days. I started to play this last night, and didn't get past the character creator, I was going to make a nord because Skyrim, but then I was going to make an elf, because I have never made one before, but then I settled on a:
