I came across this the weekend, I am definately intrigued! I can see it being something I might try and get the missus into as well with it being a bit of a survival mmo

Really intriguing, agreed!! I think like with most MMO or open world games it will probably depend on how much content will go live at the launch to be able to keep people engaged in this. I do fancy giving it a go though just based off what I've seen above.

Giving this thread a nudge as it is going to be release in May. I have looked at some of the recent footage and though it looks a bit janky it is looking like it could be great fun.

There are 3 zones, 1 which is kind of starter friendly, 1 which is then PvE and bigger in scope and then an end game one which then include's the PvP element. The discussion around the PvP area is that because it is a whole bunch of servers all meshed together you could potentially have up to 900 players in this larger end game area at any one time and it appears to take some influence from Battlefield and Planetside games.

Definately one I will be giving a try I think.

Beta access has begun but I think I'll give it a miss. Final product looks pretty shambolic and about 10 years out of date. Nowhere near the standard that was initially portrayed. A real shame because it's a decent price and a good concept but I'm just not as forgiving with these jank-fests these days.

I have to agree with you on that. It's definitely got the Dune vibe down but it's too janky, looks like an MMO from 2014 and too similar to games like Conan.

I think they will work on it so I'll keep an eye on it and maybe further down the line it will tempt me.

I keep changing my mind over this game. If it was winter I might have time to play it but not right now...will keep my eye on it though if I see anyone else go for it 🙂

I would like to get it but I think my issue is time as well, my weeknights are mostly filled up with one thing or other at the moment gaming with various people and this is one of those I have a feeling I would be playing on my own and I only get a night or 2 for that sort of gaming ^_^

Maybe pick it up but I don't know when and I will wait for initial reviews on launch.

It's got some good ratings on Steam from its early access period and has a decent number of players. The finished game looks more refined but still seems a bit bland. I will probably keep my eye on it to see how it plays out once the rest get their hands on it tomorrow.

I grabbed the Demo today, but it was just a benchmarking tool, and Character generator. I will probably buy it this weekend and give it a try though
