  1. Past hour
  2. Today
  3. Yea, when Paul Tassi says its over, then its over, wow. Dude was (is?) a huge D1 & 2 fan.
  4. Music to my ears. Thanks @phil bottle. If the date is an earlier date just on PC for some months, I may pick it up on there first. Its a great game to watch thats for sure.
  5. To lazy to get a clip but for me it was the original resident evil 2.
  6. MGS2 had a pretty awesome intro and Deus Ex
  7. Russian Warship can go fuck itself!
  8. I do want to say though that Racing games seem to have the best intro's by and large. I don't play them much, but they typically knock it out of the park
  9. I played the absolute shit out of this game when I had it on 3DO This isn't the intro, but I think the first half might be the best score of any game I have ever played. Every time I hear it I mentally see the ruined city, the rain, and feel the loneliness that was the starting area of ODST Also
  10. Was a good Ridge Racer number 4, but I don't remember the music, just the cool system for picking a manufacturer etc My most memorable start to a game is the DayZ mod for Arma 2. My first spawn was on a beach at twilight, very eerie and atmospheric.
  11. Strange, I've played at 1440p max settings on my ancient 1080ti and not blurry for me. A lot of the reviews seem to be Russians angry they've been removed from the game. Fuck em 🙂
  12. Some music in the 'Listening Now To' thread by @Sennex, got me immediately thinking, what are some of our favourite all time opening intro video sequences in a video game. I'll start! For some reason, I remember back in the day when I got hold of a copy of Ridge Racer 4, I was excited more than normal. For an arcade game, back then it felt like it was hitting a new era, and the opening sequence with the graphics back then I recall blew my mind. I loved the song and everything about it. Enjoy and looking forward to seeing what else others can find and share!
  13. You've just made me think of an awesome thread. I loved the opening sequence to R4, the song and video back then was legendary!
  14. Not sure whats going on with my library, I had all the stalker games at one point, but currently its only showing Clear Skies
  15. This 'enhanced' edition is an absolute disgrace. Alarm bells were ringing going into the game seeing a 'mostly negative' rating and boy oh boy did they hit the mark. Graphics are blurry as hell maxed out. Several things have been omitted and others have been censored. No reason to play this over even the vanilla original. What a disappointment but this is where the industry is at these days.
  16. Was just gonna say the same thing ^^^^ Installing Shadow of Chernobyl right now
  17. Out now : ) Just checked Steam and all three games have appeared next to the originals in my library.
  18. Another huge PR blow as Paul Tassi is seen as a huge Bungie supporter and optimist of games like this It’s Just Over For ‘Marathon’ WWW.FORBES.COM Marathon has always been teetered on the edge of future failure, but now that seems set in stone after recent events.
  19. Yesterday
  20. This game came out in early access a year ago, it's been plodding along and the next update is said to be pretty good. I'll be jumping back on when it drops, hoping the lag has been sorted.
  21. It's going to he released on PS5 as well as Xbox and PC. It's also cross platform 🙂 Release date is hard to say, this year for sure... but I'm getting rumours it's coming sooner than intended...
  22. I did not try it but a friend of mine did, he had glowing things to say about it. That said I don't know if some of the current hype may partly down to people's frustrations with Fifa (I will continue to call it so). To me this is a better version of Rush, Pro clubs is great because of the numbers we can include but when you only have 3 or 4 (5 in this instance) sometimes you want something simpler and this could give us that. I have every intention of picking this up, you can't buy many games at launch for only £20 and let's be honest we don't need a lot of game time on it to get our money's worth! I feel it could be the game to scratch the itch when we sometimes jump on, on a Sunday evening and things like that and we can keep our Monday's (or pick a new day) for our larger groups.
  23. I've been playing this and it's fantastic. Miles better than Doom Eternal and on par with Doom 2016. The combat is satisfyingly meaty.
  24. Agree on waiting for it to come down. I don't think it will take long though. Notoriously, Doom games are quick to complete due its fact paced nature of guts and glory so smaller campaign games usually come down in price in the first 2 months.
