  2. Looks like Microsoft are entering the handheld market with a ROG Ally-branded device in partnership with ASUS. Xbox is no longer a console, it's a platform, and it's already entered a battle for control over your handheld gaming PC | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Xbox is becoming more like PC and Windows is becoming more like Xbox... is Microsoft looking to muscle SteamOS out of the way? Could be another interesting option especially as Valve's Steam Deck is restricted at retail-level but price will be a huge factor here. Hands-On With the Xbox Ally X, the New Gaming Handheld from Asus and Microsoft - IGN WWW.IGN.COM The Xbox handhelds are coming Holiday 2025 and they're impressive, but many questions still remain.

  4. I'm still alive well just barley if last night's run is anything to go by. Last week I ran a total of 66km on the weekend was 42km and thats working a total of 18 hours. Got home a little late got my hydration bag chucked a lucozade some nuts a energy bar and my lights just I'm case in got dark. All went ok with the run it was the after math about 1 hour after it felt like something broke inside of me something left me was an emotional wreck then couldn't sleep so did some research as it happens it's quite common in some runners.
  5. Good to hear some hands on experience. Its definitely on my wish list because the quality of life improvements in the hardware is good enough for me, and who can't beat a new Mario Kart game to go with it. I haven't seen anything into the lending games policy yet. There hasn't been many reviews kicking around the internet which is surprising. A few places are giving them some criticism for the sheer amount of additions to buy to complete certain games. I don't think Nintendo will bat an eyelid though. Handheld market is just going to be there's regardless of what competitors do in the coming years.
  6. These games always get discounted early on - usually after 4 weeks the 'premium' edition reduces to that of the base game price and then a month or so after that you can usually get 33% off the standard. By the time the football season starts you can grab it for half price and then it's 75% off going into the new year. It's a great purchase after Christmas although the game is on its last legs at that stage but it's still great value. EA just bank on people to buy into it within the first month when things are fresh and everyone is playing. I'll probably grab this for under a tenner next January just for the single player.
  7. I watched the trailer for this the at the weekend and I have to say I think thisblooks really good. I've really enjoyed the last couple of resi evil games and think this will definitely be one I can delve into 🙂
  8. According to the info about it, it's releasing with brand new maps. Even though leaks said it would have all of the original BO2 maps at launch with a few new maps 🤔 We need Advanced Warfare 2. I'm being serious. I thought it was excellent. Just tone down the jetpack movement a bit.
  9. So many first person shooters on PC these days doing interesting things I never think of COD any more
  10. Love to see this, you're such a star @GazzaGarratt No financial reward, just giving back to the community. You're the role model our youth need, not these internet scumbags 🖤❤️
  11. Mental mate. I suppose the new one can say it can't be any worse in the league! 😅 Ahh thanks Macca. I need to share this on my PPR lol. It means a lot to help a large community and especially see it happen in front of your eyes. ❤️🖤
  12. Pro clubs night, get your names down!

  14. Confirmed. Honestly, what a load of crap. As if the franchise isn't stale enough, let's release a sequel back-to-back off the back of a game that people already seem to hate. Can't one of these imbecile studios come out with something that isn't Black Ops or Modern Warfare now? If we get Black Ops 8 in 2026 then I'm giving up gaming.

  16. A huge congratulations to @GazzaGarratt and Coundon Court this week! "Not only Club Development Club of the Year....but we're ALSO BCFA GRASSROOTS CLUB OF THE FUCKING YEAR!!!!!!!!!!❤️🖤" (Lee's words not mine 🤣) This man works his arse off day in and day out on all fronts and deserves every bit of good that comes his way! Congratulations Lee! You deserve it! Also a big shout out to @Findmartin who ran his first kids training sessions for comets last night, Comets is set up associated with Coundon Court that helps teach kids with disabilities how to play football, both lee and martin have had a huge role in helping comets get where it is today, however Martin ran his first session last night and it went incredibly well! Congratulations dude 💪❤️
  17. I do believe there is a remake of code Veronica on its way.
  18. Should be good! Now give us a Code Veronica remake and that’ll keep me happy for the next few years
  19. Being sacked after winning a trophy and getting your team into the Champions League is really very shitty.
  20. Bye bye Ange 😔🙈 Onwards and upwards Spurs 🤪
  21. So I had not planned to with selling the house currently but I generally can't resist a console launch. Got up launch day morning and thought I would have a look at the Argos near me, lo and behold they had some in stock so now I am a happy owner of a new console and the new mario kart. I have only briefly played it thus far and will give it some more time the weekend but initial thoughts. So the biggest thing I have noticed so far really is the quality of life improvements, this console is very much an improvement on the original Switch which in itself was a great console. The larger screen, the HDR, the joycons feel better build quality and the device itself feels more premium. Then the eshop works immensely better than it does on the OG, it was always my biggest gripe with the OG console and the lending of virtual games, I intend to package up my OLED and give it to the kids for Christmas this year. Setting up the family and being able to lend them games will be great, it suddenly gives them quite a large library of games to play straight off without faffing about so much with primary and secondary consoles and such. Mario Kart seemed fun as it always does, the open world aspect seems a bit of a bolt on rather than a key feature of the game which is surprising. I was expecting a more Forza type experience if I'm being honest. I have also continued my Pokemon playthrough on this and it is noticeably better in terms of performance and visuals. I think the big test for me is I am yet to play tears of the kingdom, I think I will pay the 7.99 upgrade and give that a go and see how it looks and how that performs over the weekend.
  22. Warzone’s charm definitely took a hit with all the cheaters and constant changes. At one point, jumping into a match felt more like a gamble than fun. Once, after a streak of being sniped by invisible players, switching to some legit support from a website helped balance things out. Having a solid tool like LaviCheats, the greatest and most advanced gaming augmentation service on the market, made matches way less frustrating.
  23. Visually it looks brilliant, I just wonder how the series will cope moving onto a new protaginist. Though we know Ciri's story for some we have had 3 games of Geralt's character development and seeing a whole story arc go through it's motions. I think it will rest on the writer's somewhat who presumably have created a whole new story for the next chapter of the Witcher games. That said I will be diving right into this as the third game is still my favourite to date despite the clunky combat.
  24. I watched Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning the other day and enjoyed it. I did think the film was a bit long though and it was bloated with too many characters and poorly written exposition. Some strong character performances especially from the villains and the action was plentiful.
  25. I think it was always going to get mixed reviews as an expansion style update will never hit as well as the first installment of the game. I bet most Elden Ring lovers will absolute love this new one. Not sure what things you'd change from a model that many loved - and by not changing much, critics will end up having a go at it. Not sure they can win on the review side.
  26. These games I feel I always want them but never at the price they go out at, as its very similar to FIFA. Not much has changed in the past few versions and whilst I love F1, I don't think this pulls me in like I would hope it would. £20? Yeah, why not. Although in 18 months it'll probably be worth a fiver.
  27. Don't worry, you have the amazing Club World Cup renovation happening on your door step this Summer! 😅 Unfortunately thats the stupid way the game has gone given all these ridiculous penalties so I don't blame them too much. Ironically it looks more unnatural that your arms are behind your back but the refs won't agree with that view anymore.
