  2. I have been using uBlock Origin on Firefox for about a decade at this point, maybe even more, the internet is a cesspit without it, I browse FB for example sometimes and I get the default experience because uBlock can't detect its ads and it is infuriating, I would scroll past 20 posts for example and 10-15 of them would be ads or irrelevant stuff that I don't follow, can't the greedy morons understand that if I can't even see what I want then I won't care about your shitty site? At this point both with windows and the internet you are constantly fighting to reverse as much as possible the rampant enshittification going on

  4. I (surprise surprise) fucking hate adverts in general. I dont watch tv so i get to avoid them there...but yes, it has gotten to the point on YouTube that I stop watching videos that I'm enjoying. There's an advert at the start of a 12 minute video, then a couple of minutes in I get a 50 seconder. I have no tolerance for it and I stop watching. It's fucking annoying, particularly when you also have to deal with the YouTuber plugging another product themselves part way through the video. It's ruined YT for me, but then again most of the content is mindless nonsense these days anyway🫠

  6. Resident Evil Remake (2002/2015)
  7. I can't believe how bad YouTube has gotten of late - literally advert spam is insane and they are even worming their way into Premium which is a kick in the teeth to paying customers. I was watching an 8 minute video earlier and was presented with a 30 second advert, I then skipped about a minute of the video and was presented with the same advert which was unskippable once more. Not even halfway through and a 59 second video then popped up and to finish off, I was awarded the same 30 second advert I've already seen twice with about 40 seconds left of the video. So that was about two and a half minutes of adverts on an 8 minute video in which one was repeated 3 times! Also checked out a System Shock 2 Remastered video which was from a stream and 3 hours 31 minutes long - there was about 40 advert slots in that alone. Assuming the majority are a minute and unskippable, that's almost half hour of adverts in a severely broken up video where if you wanted to quick-skip, you'll probably land on a one minute advert 6 clicks out of 7. You could sometimes bypass really annoying adverts by refreshing but now I seem to keep seeing the same ones over and over and maybe after 15 refreshes then I get lucky and hit a 5 second advert which can be skipped but even after all that, I've saved myself about 10 seconds. It's just turned into extreme greed and done in the most laziest way imaginable. Seeing the same Primark/Bellingham adverts 15 times in 20 minutes watching videos is becoming torturous and they are planting so many in long-form videos now that it's making some unwatchable.
  8. I lost two cars, and a van, to Zombie Bears. I "thought" I could just run them down like I do with swarms, but they do WAY more damage. In hindsight, it makes sense though
  9. Last week
  10. Oh the one I progressed the most with was the one where I pissed off the military, they killed everyone and destroyed the whole camp 😂 Been a while since I played, got pretty far doing a save in my home town but I’ve now exhausted all resources as it’s not got that many buildings and my looting crews keep getting destroyed by zombie bears…
  11. So I sort of did, but then I got overrun by swarms, so I restarted and that storyline hasn't progressed. Basically I am currently solidifying my gains, and looting every possible building in my build area. I've started demoing all buildings that are in sniper range of my towers as well. Its a process, and once its done, I will then go back to pissing off the military lol Post pics though, I would love to see your build
  12. The game is due to officially launch later this year. It's pretty much all I'm playing at the moment after a break to play Stalker 2 and Oblivion. Latest patch has more improvements including a much needed rework of the audio.
  13. Lots of post release support for this game and more to come. Looks like they've git A-Life working properly now, so I'm sure I'll be testing that.
  14. The final is on Saturday, I wonder if they can repeat it!
  15. @GazzaGarratt it’s just dayz with tougher zombies, worse healing mechanics, insane killing machine mechs that have miniguns, rocket launchers, flame throwers and stun/flash grenades. And loo time. Yes you read that right, everybody poops. And you better empty your bladder and bowels when you can or your character will do it mid fight if you’ve held it in too long…
  16. @Sennex have you ran into the military yet and managed to get on their bad side? 😂 While I don’t recommend it, it’s definetly an experience 🤣
  17. One of the few games I'm legitimately looking forward to, which has honestly become quite rare for me to say. Very interested to see where they take the story with this one, and who makes appearances.
  18. 28 Years Later, first half came in roaring and just like the previous two movies which I loved. But damn, that second half of the movie cocked the entire thing- very disappointing.
  19. Exactly what the game needed, a new engine. Siege is already a great game and esport so this only improves it. Going the CS:GO route was what should have happened years ago.
  20. It's a very well made game but it requires a massive time investment. Your character is pretty robust but yes, until you're properly on your feet, it can be a bit precarious 🫠
  21. I've seen some gameplay and it looks like a lot of fun. Like Project Zomboid on steroids 🙂
  22. I think most RE fans prefer 3rd person especially when it comes to open areas. First person worked really well in RE7 because it was largely contained to one house but it felt a bit off in RE: Village and the developers ultimately added 3rd person down the line. The RE2-4 remakes were really popular in this perspective too
  23. Still got 2 races to go yet possibly more if I book them. My last race came 702nd out of 5300 so not to shabby. Yeah been running in this heat which inmake sure I'm fully hydrated and have water with me. Reached my 100km goal on the 22nd of this month so definitely been putting the miles in. Definitely need to drag my self online soon and stop this running malarkey 😆
  24. Have to say for me it was better than the first one, it's close but I found the set up in the first one a little bit slow.
  25. Another Monday, another night of clubs, last week oddly was hit and miss, we started ok then all went to pot midway through and then finished with 2 games that we were unfortunate to not win both! That said the play offs had just finished and we were in the mix with tougher opposition as well! Anyway lets get back to it this week and see if we can't get a few wins!
  26. So its a population control game, so every time you need another squad of soldiers, you need to have 4 people sitting around unemployed. Survivors wander around and they either attack you, join you, or run away from you. Your citizens can have kids, which grow pretty fast, I think a full year (12 days) gets them to where they can have jobs, this is helped by having a school set up. The most I have had so far is around 300 people, which took around 80 in game years. I am well on my way to more, but the swarms of zombies hitting me are slowing me down a lot
  27. First Person mode and Third Person mode confirmed and you can flip between the two during the game. Sounds like a really interesting take. You do find the later games do really well with the newer generation of RE followers. They love First Person. Us oldies may enjoy the nostalgia of some third person in certain areas.
  28. Some really good thoughts from the Demo that was available for RE9.
  29. @slamminbones You really have been slamming it bones at the races. Don't know how you do it. Like you say, you must get a huge kick out of competing in one of these, so much so it drains you by the end. Have you been running in this heat btw? I think if I wanted to lose 4 stone, all I would've had to do was run every day this past week. Scorching over here.
