Right well here we  go. I bought the game on PSN yesterday, waited a million hours for it to download, only to find that I was unable to play multiplayer because only Blackout was ready. Played blackout for a bit, it's not bad per se, but it's not good either. There is too much bullshit and the graphics look like they're from a 15 year old game. To its credit, I love the map style and how Treyarch have incorporated all their previous maps in to one massive map. The fact that I can plow 15 mags in to a person only for him to turn around and kill me with a single shot is typical CoD bullshit but I think I've just come to the realisation that life's too short to put up with all this crap. 
 
Once multiplayer loaded up I hopped in to a game of Domination on Icebreaker. I've been wondering how best to describe this experience, and although words generally fail me, this is the best I could come up with:
 
Imagine having your scrotum screwed in to a workbench. Now imagine having a pack of rabid wolves tug at you with nothing but your scrotum preventing you from being dragged in to the sunset. Whilst these wolves are yanking at your body and slowly tearing away chunks of meat, you are getting noshed off by Susan Boyle in a tutu. Overcome by the sheer pain and discomfort, you don't even notice the nipple clamps pumping 240v through you and the syringes injecting pure herpes in to your eyeballs. 
 
That's about the sum of it. I lasted one game. One. The words best affiliated with this game are:
 
Spawn campers.
Fucked spawns.
Map too small.
Bullshit hit detection.
Head glitching (everywhere, literally every single corner in the map has some bullshit head glitching spot)
Lag.
P2P hosting (in 2018, come on ffs)
 
And last but not least:
The cunts that play it. 
 
The thing that irritates me the most about this game is the fact that you can't even create a class when you start. Nope, you have to use the bullshit standard classes against players who have diamond camos (yes, really) and everything unlocked. These guys will then head glitch and spawn camp you leaving you unable to move and even when you can move your only defense is some bullshit gun that Treyarch has decided is your only option until you've sunk multiple hours in to the game.
 
It was honestly the worst experience I've ever had in a videogame, and this is the first time I've ever asked for a refund. I ain't paying for this shit, no chance.
 
@techno you are spot on to pass on this one. It's digital cancer, I honestly can't even describe how much I absolutely detest this game.
 

Great isn’t it? I’m just bummed out that I’ve discovered all but 3 towns already 😅

Since the game has finally been released and I'm about as excited as an 8 year old for christmas eve about finally booting it up in an hour or so, I saw we were missing this thread.

Feel free to post your thoughts on the game, any tips and advice wouldn't be amiss either. And hopefully those of you who have picked it up will have tons of fun playing it! 

(P.s. Once the online mode is released, we all need to find out who's got the fastest draw in the west!  )

Gks for smg’s, Icr until you unlock the KN in the AR category. For a change of pace I went for the Auger Dmr as well once I unlocked it. Slap a reddot and fast mags or high caliber on it and it’s quite good. Stay clear of scopes on the KN, except for RDS/holo. 3x scope jumps too much with the recoil I feel.

This helped me a ton in Blackout. Followed his tips and in the first match I played I finished 2nd. Only lost cause I didn’t have any cover on my side of the circle and no trophysystem, got hit with a barrage of cluster and concussion grenades... 
 
 
 

So far I dislike multiplayer. Soooo many tryhards about that just grapplehook, kneeslide and jump around like duracellbunnies. 
 
Zombies is entertaining, but somewhat chaotic and confusing as the maps are so damn huge now snd there’s always a ton to do. 
 
Blackout is by far my favourite so far. Got a couple squad wins yesterday. Best I’ve done is 4 kills if I remember correctly. Shotguns are great for cqc in this mode, but not really needed. My personal favoutie to run so far has been any fully decked out AR with a 3x scope or better and silencer and a DMR as a secondary. Definetly makes it easier with all the open spaces and for putting down squads at a distance. Smg’s aren’t a bad shout either. Had some good kills with those too.
 
Overall I’m not sold yet. The amount of shots needed to put someone down is a joke. The first few weapons you unlock in multiplayer sucks massive donkey cock and you’re better off using the default classes.
 
Spawns are fucking dumb. There’s no other way to put it. I lost count of how many times I spawned only to die within 5 seconds yesterday. Either give us more spawnpoints or give us spawnprotection ffs... In nearly all the objective based games I played we would get shat on round 2 by endless killstreaks and the entire oposing team spawntrapping us without the spawns being flipped. This needs to be fixed or the objective based gamemodes will be unplayable for casuals as any well organized squad will literally gangbang the living hell out of them over and over.

After a lot of pressure from irl friends I caved and bought it off the playstationstore. Hopefully I wont regret it too much.

I’m quite enjoying this game although I really, really struggle to defend myself even against AI on the "professional" difficulty. FUT is interesting this year as it seems they are leaning more towards rewarding the ppl who put time into playing divisions and squad battles. 
 
Pro clubs is loads of fun, not had too many issues with people crossing the ball in, although that’s what everyone tries. 30 yard screamers are rare, but will happen. 
 
All in all, I like it.

And Giroud really isn’t underrated. He’s probably the most frustrating player I’ve ever watched. Missing so many BIG chances to score while at Arsenal. Then suddenly he’ll score a peach like that scorpion kick which shouldn’t even have been a chance cause it’s fucking Giroud...
