Be carefull with the minicase. I have one of those as well. The fans make a lot of noise when gaming. Also some video cards + system boards will not fit because of the position of the drives. If your PCIE x16 slot has to be in the middle you could have some problems. I agree the storage is pretty big and yes you need 64 bit OS. Many games expect it. I don't know much about AMD processors so I can't comment there.

In this one you have to play the campaign if you want to unlock certain weapons. May as well be interesting if you are going to force people to grind the dam thing

I wish everyone would have returned the game for refund within their 24 hour like I did. I'm pretty sure you'd have some executive that is concern about reporting revenues concern about it and getting something done. I find it hard to believe he execution is that bad when it isn't all that different from BF3 .

It sucks doesn't it. Great game with shit execution. How that sounds familiar. I wonder if all these companies are off shoring the development to incompetent low cost centers. It's not like they don't have the budget to produce something that actually works

I believe the sames are case sensitive so that could be your problem. A lot of the base champs are actually quite good. I would suggest you do that a first and get a range, fighter and mage and support champ early. -
They are saying we are working on it. I think they've put out 5-6 sever patches already. Makes you wonder what beta was supposed to do

I wouldn't bother with the campaign if it wasn't for the multiplayer unlocks. However I'd like to have them so it's a boring grind as you said. The reviews basically said the same thing. Total lack of in innovation or imagination.

Right now PS3 better than PC due to all the technical problems. Once they fix everything the PC should be much better. I got BF4 to avoid all the shit connection issues that happen with CoD. I'd say that I'm disappointed so far because BO2 was probably less buggy that BF4. Gives you an idea. I do like the variety that you get for BF4.

I only tried the PC the first day and my PC is hard wired into my router. It doesn't even have a wireless interface so that wasn't the case for me. I also have a internet that operates at 35Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. If you need something faster than that to play, not wonder most of the community is bitching cause most people don't have it

You might want to wait. It's buggy as hell right now. I was about to throw my controller at the TV this morning. It's a bit like BO2 was at the start on the PS3. Servers are all screwed up

I tried a number of things. On the BF forum some people with hardware way better than mine are also getting issues. People with a GTX780 should not be getting frame rates of 15. My problem was that it's good most of the time (between 45-60 on High) but often drops to 10 and then goes back up. I've been using an HD7870 with an 8 core I7 running at 3.6 GHz. I have 8 GB or ram. These problems seem common. If you are planing to get it. Get it from origin and return it based on the great game guarantee if it does not work. I can let you know if I get my refund as promised.

I ended up getting 2 versions for BF4. I got the PC and I got the PS3. The PC version was essentially unplayable on my machine. It's a pretty good machine which meets all to the recommended requirements with the exception of Win8. There was just too many frame rate issues with stuttering that I've asked for a refund already. We get 24 hours to get a refund when you buy from Origin so I'm taking advantage of it and I can always buy it again when it stabilizes. I'm up to level 3 on the PS3. I started with support and the which was rather painful with the initial LMG. I'm not using assault which is much better at these levels. I've played TDM, Squad TDM and Domination so far. It's very much like BF3. There are still some server issues but certainly not as bad as what I was getting on the PC. The graphics are actually quite good and the maps interesting enough. I'll most likely try conquest tomorrow. I still like it better than CoD. One of the nice feature is they now have a shooting range which essentially allows you to try the vehicles and guns outside of the game to practice. There are still lots of assignments. Some of the weapon unlocks and assignment require that you play the campaign (those sneaky bastards). I'd probably give it a 7/10. It's not great but good enough. At this point however I am not rushing to get Premium to get all of the map packs.

Thanks. To avoid the IP issue you mentioned I set a Static (rather than Dynamic) IP address on the playstation. It's 192.168.0.50 to be exact because I know there will not be 50 devices on my network and the addresses are set sequentially. Every address is set manually on the PS3. I also look to make sure this is no confict I believe the DNS settings are really at issue. I was kind of hoping to see what some people with the higher bandwidth providers measure and how. But thanks for your responses

Yes, at the very last episode of the season. What I usually don't like about ongoing stories is It takes too many episodes to get going I don't have time and travel a lot so I miss a number of them and then that sucks for the rest of the series If the topic is not of interest it makes for a crappy season. I thought the leviaton story-line sucked so the entire season was a bummer for me. I actually enjoyed the storybook storyline and the angels and demons storyline. The other thing that good/bad about the series is that they don't mind killing off a principal character. If you like the character it kind of sucks but it makes the investment in the series a bit more realistic. It think that's one of the few scripted shows we watch. Most of the stuff is news/documentaries and amazing race.

I'm kind of late to the party. I think there have been 3-4 episodes know. What do you guys think? I liked the show better when it wasn't so much of a serial. Go kill a monster see ya next week with another monster. I like the humor in the show a lot. My wife likes Dean. The Cass character has always been pretty solid. They do a real good job with that character I think my favorite episode is the one they travel into to "real" world to discover they are actual actors in a TV series and back story was about the actors relationships. The scene where Dean is watching himself as Jensen as a soap opera star was really funny.

Origin has a great game guarantee that allows you to return a game 24 hours after you launch it. http://www.origin.com/news/origin-great-game-guarantee You can take advantage of that even with a pre-ordered game so that's if you are worried about shelling out $60 to immediately determine it sucked you are covered for the PC.

I don't know is my honest answer. I have not had any problems on other peoples servers (BF3) and a server in the UK is probably not that favorable for me on the east coast. The server rotation often gets monotonous after a while as well so I like to mix it up. I'd say save your money but it's your money. I'm also not 100% sold on PC vs PS3. I'm still waiting for the reviews on the PC to see if the fixed the optimization issues.

Also there were a number of lag and lack of optimization issues with Beta which may be solved with the full release. You also get to play with a completely different community. I don't see too many 9 year olds with little girl voices playing battlefield. The only reason to pick CoD is this community really. Most people here seem to prefer CoD over BF4 which is fine. I also think the Beta purposely looked like CoD in many ways just to attract that community. I'm sure EA would like to get a number of CoD players to change over to this game. I'm personally picking BF4 because of the lack of technical problems compared to CoD. It's been a real long time since a CoD are run properly for me. The BF3 beta was a lot worst technically that BF4. On release day none of those problems were present. Can't say the same for BO2 which took weeks to run for some people.
