    I have a feeling that 12 x 12 in Beta with everything being unknown could be rather dull in conquest. Lots of people will just sit back and snipe. Hopefully the map is not too large. I prefer DOM anyways. Did you see if BETA will have vehicles? That could be a reason for choosing that game mode. Anyways I'm probably going to try the initial beta on my PS3 (where I am a premium member) and then try the open beta later on my PC and see. I'm gonna be getting that game. I'm still undecided on which platform. I'll probably go premium once I do so the pre-order does not matter since Premium gives you all the pre-orders stuff anyways.

    I also think that a lot of the remakes are because movie studios know that people are somewhat nostalgic and will go see a remake in order to compare to the original. They also benefit from a "new" audience. Just look at the "superhero" movies. They they really have to reboot batman, superman and spiderman? I'm pretty sure that studios also want the low risk approach given some of these movies are so costly to make. They figure if it work once it will work again. Same applies to video games most of us play. Look at the most popular ones. Cod, BF, GTA, Skyrim ...

    You sure he isn't booting up in safe mode all the time? That would default to the basic VGA driver. How are you turning off the computer mike? Does a screen come up and say windows is shutting down? This seems highly unusual to me.

    How do Items work? For example spirit visage seems to be built from Specter Cowl which is build from ruby crystal and megatron cloak + Kindlegem which is built from ruby crystal Does that mean that I can buy ruby initial to build it and it will be cheaper? Do I need to ruby and the other stuff so I can build this? Do I get the benefit all of those items by buying spirit visage? I don't get why brake down the stuff the way they do

    I'm almost tempted to bring this home now just to see the wife's reaction. It's been getting tons of negative press in Canada due to the content and violence. Funny enough the game is pretty easy to get. All the stores have lots of copies on hand

    I came back to this to have a look. Unfortunately my body does not allow me the types of work out I am use to until I get my surgeries out of the way. But the work out is pretty similar to what I used to do. I use to Alternate between the 2 and 3 day split. The Interesting difference with the 3 days is that it is not separated into muscle groups but push and pull instead. I've been training my 17 year old son. He's been doing quite well and the changes are quite noticeable. Last summer he put on 10 lbs of quality muscle. This summer it was close to 15 lbs. He's about 6'2" and 185 lbs now. No supplements, just good nutrition. I guess I would warn about the bent over row. That exercise is dangerous in a Gym where people don't know where they belong. I injured my back quite badly about 20 years ago when someone bumped into me getting weights as I was doing the exercise. I much prefer doing the exercise on a machine to be safe. The rest of the routine is pretty solid. What we do is we alternate the routine with Barbells and Dumbbells however. Hopefully I can get back to it soon. Maybe I can do before/after. My "before" is getting to be most disappointing.

    Congratulations. It works really nicely in close quarters for me. It just mows people down. At longer range it doesn't seem quite as effective as the M416 which is my go to AR. Probably because that is the first good AR that was available to both factions and I was able to stick with it. To be honest I wished I had spent more time on BF3 and less time on MW3 and BO2. I could have probably accomplished more.

    You guys have fun. I also don't see the appeal of playing scumbag characters on that level in a game.

    I've got both also. However I don't have premium on the PC so it limits the number of game modes. I prefer DOM to any other so the PS3 gets more play time. I also have a number of friends on the PS3 and I don't on the PC. The Corsair mouse for sniping does make it fun, however the sniper rifles are rather under powered in the game. Anyways I still want to be able to compare both. I wonder how much play time we will get in BETA

    Well at least we get to try it on the gaming PC before we buy it. Looking forward to trying both the PS3 and the PC to compare

    I think it might be the polling time of the controller as opposed to mouse.

    People generally recommend against the controller because it is too slow. I've seen some sites that show how to do it with some driver and a PS3 controller but not PS2. Apparently you can make it work with with an XBOX controller pretty easy

    They probably want to cause a shortage to create buzz much like the WII did many many years ago. When you have pre-orders there really isn't much of a reason not to have the units on hand. They knew a lot of people would want them.

    I didn't know Steve Ballmer played Video games Win8 is so bad that we refuse to develop for it.

    Go ahead and run it and you will most likely fall in the top end of the min specs. However the recommended specs are not achievable unless you have a very recent PC. 4GB of video mem is pretty rare, most people just don't have Win8 because it sucks

    Windows will auto update the defaults which could be why he gets screwed everytime he does a restart. He needs the proper video card driver.

    Having to recenter the screen as opposed to it doing it by itself. It's actually possible to have you champ be offscreen which is a pain it the ass. I've got a few champs. Trying them out.
