  1. Actually religious organizations do. They have large groups totally dedicated to those which are part of the ministry. Just like hatred, destruction, death, and suffering are accomplished by people without any religeous conviction at all. Religion was certainly first to undertake those activities. I don't know about the UK, but around here the vast majority of organizations have Saint something infront of their name for a reason (hospitals, schools, homeless shelters ...).
  2. Well that's your point of view. However what it does neglect is all the good the religious organizations and people have also done. - The catholic church for instance is one of the largest charitable organizations in the world if not the largest. - It feeds the hungry in many places that need the help - It educates people who otherwise could not - It provides hospital and medical services in many places - It takes care of the homeless - It takes care of drug addicts - It takes care of the abused - It gives some people something to believe in - Don't know about the rest of religions exactly but many do the same type of work I'll be the first to admit it's also not without it's problems, but what I mentioned above also exists because of religion.
  3. So did I. Legendary edition. Wife will be pissed as usual
  4. That's not what I am trying to say and don't disagree with you about things being over priced. What I am trying to say is that if for instance restaurants where to pay their servers 15% more (the recommended tip around here) and not allow tipping, I am pretty sure that everything would be 15% even more expensive.
  5. I think the point here was that 18% was automatically included on the bill and the customer was given no choice. I know that the Church in Quebec use to expect you to give 10% of your wages to the Church (essentially a Church tax) and that's probably where than number and example came from. The just expected it. I don't know how common it is elsewhere. And those people should be thankful rather than complain that they only got $5 and post it on the internet. Well you still would end up paying only the prices would be higher. The cost is always passed along and then less people might eat out which would be a problem for the server and restaurant. Despite my earlier comments I like tipping. If the service is great they get tipped, if it isn't the get my .02 worth. At that point it is entirely in our control. Mine and the server.
  6. Like I said if they were to post my details. Which has been done also where people have been harrased. If my details are not there I could not careless and probably would not find out anyways.
  7. Dam it, why did I read this. Now I have to explain to the ball and chain why I want to spend money on Video games again
  8. In the US and Canada there are minimum wages and yes tipping is expected. However TIP (To Insure Proper Service) means exactly that. I've tipped $0.02 to a real shitty waiter just so they know I didn't forget. If you want a good tip do a good job. I've also tipped 20% for good service. In Ontario the minimum wage is about $10.60. And if someone were to post anything on a website with my detail after a tip they did not like, I would get their ass fired. I always make sure they get to see the tip so if they are going bitch about it, they can do it to my face and get an explanation. I spend about $125K on the service industry every year to put things into perspective. Most is on business travel. It really pisses me off when a server does a shitty job if there is no reason for it. I understand busy restaurants and meals no to my linking but I do expect service to give a good tip. For example if I have to get up after 10 minutes to get my own fork to eat my meal that has gotten cold after I asked for one, forget about getting a good tip.
  9. That's not the type of stuff I find humorous at all. Where anything remotely close to that type of stuff to happen I can guarantee that at least one of us is ending up in a hospital.
  10. It's pretty close to Pittsburgh or Cleveland which I go to quite frequently. If I can get advance notice I probably can plan a business trip and meet up. It would be after the business trip so I don't show up at a customer looking like a wreck. From Ottawa it's 8 hours. Still doable if the weather isn't bad.
  11. Swim I thought the Scottish were resilient people
  12. Stinger always locked. Flares however can screw you up. Laser is helpful for tanks really so you don't get kill trying to destroy them while they shoot you. It's a lot harder for a pilot to notice an engineer than a tank that is in range. I always liked mines. Just put them around the flag and forget about them. A good tank commander will go in and shoot the ground before going in to avoid them. Many don't
  13. What would be an Ideal champ for that? Nami? Everyone bubble then wave? Stun then revive, stun then revive ... Everyone doing that at the same time would be quite the pain in the ass.
  14. Where in Ohio are you? Cleveland? Dayton? Cincinnati?
  15. Heck if there is a bar, that's a place to sleep right there. Hopefully I come home with 2 eyebrows
  16. I do think how ever that Vegas gets to expensive. If you live in a city like New York you can get cheap flights to most places because it's a hub city, But going that far west is costly and the vast majority of people that responded are out east.
  17. I reset a number of them. I re-did jungle. Holly shit what an improvement for me. Just went 12-2-18 in jungle with Warwick and a killing spree of 11. I kind of got recless at the end in the team fights spamming all my team with my buff and got myself killed by towers. The other champs could not come close to me. All the could do was slow me down I have to try support with Nami next

  23. Ninja too fast for you both. See my post from yesterday at 9:36 Cyber
  24. That use to happen with Bad Company 2. They would turn off some servers and your progress with disappear and then be back. What you did before restoration however did not get added to your current progress. Face it, it's a good back but they do suck on a lot of technical details
  25. at $15/month I think a lot of people will take a pass. I'm not paying $180 a year to play an online game
