  1. Did you ever create a battlelog entry? I can't even find you in the system. I'm trying DrD1amond and it says sorry that page does not exist.
  2. DOM on BF3 was crazy good. I find that Conquest is the best to get points. The caps on DOM don't score quite a high. DOM is a nice small game and fast. It's also pretty good to get kills to level up those guns
  3. Recon's should spot and target (for the engineer or support) from far away. It seems like no ones does however. If you are going to be far away you probably need a sniper rifle or DMR. You can use the PLD, SoFLAM, MAV, T-UGS and SUAV to do that. Then your supports can use their mortars to rain death on infantry. You engineer can use one of the launchers that is guided to a painted targer and you can snipe from a safe distance. Most recons however just seem to sit on a hill trying to get headshots for their You Tube channel. I don't think you would have medics playing the game if you let everyone equip and ARs. Revives don't show up in that final screen but you number of kills do. Carbines don't quite have the range or accuracy the ARs do so I suspect it is a good compromise to give them to everyone. BF3 allowed PWDs for everyone and I use to use the hell out of the UMP-45, the ACR-W or ACE 52 seem to be good alternatives to that.
  4. They do that so that you actually play the role for the class. Why play recon with an assault rifle when that's not what the kit is intended to do. You also have DMRs, Carbine and Shotguns available for any class so it's pretty well balance in my opinion.
  5. I'm still playing on the PS3 and being on some teams can be pretty dam frustrating with people camping a home flag and never moving even when the other team has 4 of 5 flags. It seems more important to protect the K/D that get a win. Also people have talked about supply/health/repairs as well. I fail to understand how I can be in a squad with 3 medics and never a health kit/pack Also lots of people just blow up the vehicles to ensure there are no vehicles available for anyone Just wondering if the PS4 players are a bit more mature or better team players
  6. Well I know I try to supply/heal people but then those people decide to run and gun and you end up chasing someone to supply them so I don't. I drop the pack they can see it on the mini map and go and get it. I also drop it in a fire fight. I don't understand why medics don't drop a pack when people are capping flags however. It's very likely that some enemy will come around to try to defend and it would nice to have the ability to heal faster. I would recommend playing the campaign and getting the M249 LMG. It's accuracy isn't great but with 200 round mag you can pepper people like crazy. I also you Carbines a lot. I do pretty well with that LMG. I agree the first 3 are no good (not for me anyways).
  7. You were able to create a complete custom game. You were also able to manage who would be on each team and move people. That sucked because admins would put themselves on winning teams when things went bad. I don't think servers are available for PS BF4 yet but I could be wrong. I know that Mike joined a BF3 clan that had their own server and liked it. I use to play mainly on those servers because they increase the number of tickets which allows you to get far more ribbons. I Could get 2-3 AR or PWD ribbons that way.
  8. I've been playing Locker as support with the M249, ammo pack and airburst. You can get crazy scores doing that. The biggest problem with Locker is if you are on the team that sucks it's really painful.
  9. I've had a lot of success when I end up using him to support my team mates. Throw the flag to increase everyones attack speed, Golden Aegis to increase your shield and slow the enemy champs, then lance to decrease their armor (doesn't matter so much if you miss the combo). If the fight is going well Catalism. I've gotten huge assists scores doing that. I don't seem to get many kills with him but the team does well. I also build him with huge health to stay alive and engage
  10. quad grenade kill on conquest operation metro. Other team camping in the guard tower using the .50 cal machine guns. I threw a grenade and got 4 of them Also landed a chopper on a roof sniper.
  11. The Nice thing about BF4 is you don't have to get kills to get scores. Take the flags in conquest (lots of points), drop ammo or health packs (decent point), repair vehicles (dangerous of your teammates don't protect you). Play assault on conquest and drop med kits and get revives, let the other guys do the killing. Always drop your med kit when taking the flag
  12. Reputation for belonging in someones purse
  13. My first choice (only because I like them a lot) would be a German Sheppard. They have a reputation as a police/military dog but every single Sheppard I have ever known is the biggest suck ever with their own family. As mentioned all you really need is a dog that has a reputation and will bark. I have a Shetland Sheepdog (miniature collie to a lot of people) and a Border Collie. They are extremely effective. A boarder is about a 45 lbs dog. It's known for being one of the smartest dogs around and therefore very easy to train. They are also great family pets. I taught mine to play hide and seek, tag, fetch and a number of tasks around the house. They will scare most people away from your door which is what you probably want. The Shelties is a small dog and very similar to the Border Collier. Mine is very very protective of the house until someone enters and they she's that person's bestest friend. It depends if you want something to raise the alarm or something that will actually defend. Then invest some time at obedience school for you first dog and train it well. Petsmart offers (in Ottawa anyways) classes (puppy to older dogs) that are not too expensive. It was under $100 and it gets the dog socialized as well. My kids the course at the age of 5 and 7 with the dog. It was a lot of fun for them and the dog. Keep in mind that a dog is expensive. An alarm system would probably be cheaper.
  14. ... how did you test positive for explosive at the San Diego Airport "I'm a Marine dam it, I shit C4" !? I had to play along
  15. Nothing troubling about it, I'm just dam ineffective with him. I'm much better with Morgana or Corki mid. I don't think I position my shots well. Also Zigg seems to fuck me up a lot with his abilities compared to Morgana (which I like a lot). W/E are opposite for me in terms of effectiveness so I find myself often screwing up what I wanted to do.
  16. Been J4 and Warwick Jungle. WW isn't that great but I enjoy playing with him Soraka and Nami support Morgana mid I've given up on Ziggs, I just can't get the hang of him Need to try Olaf Jung. Apparently he is quite good but I think he is a higher skilled champ Might also try Taric
  17. You do get attachments from battlepacks as well as from unlocking. I have personally gotten the Cobra, prisma, grips, lasers and JGM from the battle packs. You get the packs by being a premium member, having pre-odered, leveling a level 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 (and so on). You get weapons packs by getting a certain number of kills with a specific weapon (210 first and then every 50 kills) Some attachments are only available in the battlepacks Battlelog list all this information in you unlock progression and actually pretty good. It's worth signing up for it.
  18. I've been playing int bot lately. They are more challenging and therefore the games run much longer. If you get a weak team it can be pretty brutal. I had a game go over 1 hour where people were still farming after an hour. 1 person had 0 kills and assists yet over 300 minion kills. So I am not sure if I accumulate XP faster than playing easy where a game lasts about 20 minutes. I'll keep playing int for since it's more challenging and see.
  19. Well Harry Potter would fit right in
  20. Now that was funny I like the girl best.
  21. The certainly would explain why I drink coffee
  22. Well part of the test is that you can pull your ass into/out of the tank or over a wall or a rope ladder if you had to. These type of activities would have to be more common for infantry types than someone riding a vehicle. If you can't do 3 pull ups with your body weight I have to think climbing over a 6 foot wall with battle gear on is going to be pretty difficult regardless of your size. I'm quite aware of the bigger your are usually the stronger you are. My 5'3" wife who is more fit than me can't come close to what I can lift or carry because I weight over 100 lbs more than she does. I'm pretty sure however that she could get up a rope or over a wall as fast if not faster than I can. I would think that counts for something when someone might shoot you if you don't do that fast enough
  23. Does she have a different type of internet (cable vs ADSL for example). The way you ISP builds that packets could be an issue. Also do you have a lot of other stuff running at home? If so can you make your games a higher priority than devices. Dual band modems can do that if you have one. I have the same problem quite often (not restricted to CoD) because of the cable modem my ISP provides. I have 38 Mbps service (which tests at 55 Mbps most of the time) and I often lag and have problems because of the number of people here that use the wireless.
  24. 24. Been trying Int games. The difference is that they are much longer so they generate more XP I beleive. Still ways away from 30.
  25. It's been hard to get on lately. Servers are all messed up. They were down last night. I might but can't help you with provisional
