    So you have to thin pain. You have to use retarder on paint (which slows the drying time and you to use flow improver in the airbrush to make sure it does not clog the needle. Lot of stuff to do if you are picky about results. If you just want to have fun it's simpler The transfers are not that hard if you 1) gloss the model after painting 2) use microset decal softener (or some other vendor) 3) use a wood tooth pick to move the decal around 4) damp with a coton swab 5) use microsol decal fixer But on a jet like the F-4 you probably have 130-150 decals to put on if you do them all. It's an exercise in patience for sure. If you look at the "no step lines" on the wing for example. I think there are 20 per wing. Tamiya is good a giving you some extras because they know you will screw some of them up. It's nice to have spares

    Hi Lee, I would say it depends and how much detail you want. I can spend as little as 2-3 hours if it's one color and nothing special. The phantom was probably 60-80 hours. You don't see all of the detail and weathering. The panels lines for example took close to 10 hours. There are 4 shades of gray on the model. Had it been all grey it would have been a lot faster When you do something like camouflage then it takes a lot of time too because you have to paint. Wait to dry. Mask. Paint again. Personally I like the painting so it's not a problem. I also have acrylics, enamels and lacquers depending on what I paint

    cool. Do you use an airbrush at all? I have just started to use one. Everything you to be just brush painted with acrylics.

    1/72 just too small for this clumsy fingers (unless they are modern day fighter like the F-14). Lots of people I know do the 40K and Gundam.

    Did it as a kid, getting back into it. I do the models and Diorama Do 1/48 Aircraft 1/35 armor 1/24 cars Here are two samples from a competition a few months back. The armor one came in second in its category (WWII, 1/35 armor)

    Well they aren't putting much effort into it. The modes that was available were Nuketown and hijack which we have been playing for decades. Then a moshpit. Nothing to get new players excited about. I know that they said in 2027 there will be no Zombies and it's a sledgehammer game. Neither of those will excite customers (advance warfare, WWII, Vanguard were not that good). So I don't see how they turn this around except by re-releasing the original MWII along with what ever crap they release and everyone will be playing MWII instead.

    I tried it during the free weekend. I got to level 26 or 27. I think I played 8 matches or so and benefited from double XP. Can't get into it. I think the free weekend was on for 4 days. After 3 matches I had enough each of the days that I played. Was doing Ok. Not great but OK. Nothing about it calls out the me.

    I looked and my price is not increased at the moment. Don't know if it's new subscription or what. But my Oct/15 price will be what I paid in September. People have to remember that they need to pay the price to play online (both PSB/XBOX). the cost of the GAME pass is whatever is the difference. People can decide if that is worth it to them or just move over to steam.

    It gets worse. I have it for free because of Game pass which I will cancel once my price goes up. But it was just sitting there waiting to be played yesterday when I looked so I figured I would give it a go. Time would have been better spent watching reruns of Mr Bean for the 30th time

    I played 3 matches on the Beta today. It's Advance Warfare named B07. Wall jumping, double jump, OCD movement. I'm not going to be playing that shit Guess they didn't get the memo last time about that movement non sense

    Anyone enjoying the game? I played 4-5 matches. I kind of bored of it already. Not a fan of the perk system. The default classes are meh at best. Not a fan of the movement. I never really liked the Treyarch games. This one hasn't changed my opinion so far. I'll give zombies a go later. They tend to do that well and it the best part of their games in my opinion

    Your math is wrong. In order to play online you need to by a pass. The most basic PSN pass is $95/year (in Canada). The Extra is $154/year. So it's costing $60 more for the pass and not $200. You have to look at the incremental cost I just have the very basic as I find that most of the games are old games that if I had wanted to play I would have probably bought when they were new. But value is pretty good if you just want to sample games and don't care about playing the latest

    We'll see when the report revenue in December 2024. USA companies are not sentimental when it comes to retaining/laying off people. If the numbers aren't there, they will do something about it. Are you factoring the fact that PS will not be on game Pass? Since the PS dominates, I don't think they are losing as much money as what you are estimating.

    You don't seem to be factoring skins and passes. At $29 for a stupid skin or $40 for a battlepass 6 times a year, you can give the game away and still make money. The number of skins I run into playing tells me that plenty of people are willing to shell out money for cosmetics. I got to admit that "teletubies" skin is pretty enticing. Shoot Nicki Minaj or Snoop in the face and then get to tea bag them as Grimace/Teletubies it totally worth the $30

    Or maybe this a way to hide the disaster that was the last black ops cold war. They figure if they give it away as part of game pass no one can see the sales figure. Knowing that it's a "cold war" Cod is already a pass for me. They never ran well and I never did enjoy them the way I do the MW ones

    I think this is misunderstood. You need to buy a set of skins which will cost you 9600 CoD points. They are 2400 CoD points each. If you buy them all you get the glove. So you're not really buying a glove for 9600 Cod points but you kind of are. Personally I would never do that. I don't bother with purchased skins or blackcell. However people should be clear that they aren't charging $80 for a single item. I don't understand why someone for pay $15 for a skin, but I tend to not comment about what people should do with their own money

    I prefer to have the ACS to hold/capture objectives. Same with the trophy. I will use one vs the other depending on the team I have. If I am a team that doesn't play the objective I use the ACS as that is like having a team mate caping and I can move onto the next objective. So yah the gloves are essential. If you camp however, they are useless. You got to move around and pick up that ammo I would think with SND you would want the trophy so that you can plant the bomb without worrying about being grenade or RPGed

    Depends on map and game mode for me Something like TDM I use the MCW or BAS-P depending on the size of the map. BAS-P for longer range. I use the Assasin Vest in that case Something like DOM/Hardpoint is use the MCW or Rival 9. I use the engineer vest with tac mask + EOD + ACS or demo vest with 2 letals which depend on map (claymore vs semtex for exampe or drill charge) Something like KC is use Rival 9 and combat knife with the coms vest On maps like wasteland, estate, rundown I switch to the KATT-AMR sniper All my classes use the scavenger gloves Mostly use the ACS or trophy system I run UAV, Counter UAV, Sentry for KS

    Half-life + opposing force + blue shift Change the script around a bit. Improve MP and you have a wonderful game
