  1. Titan is 3rd for me. IO I couldn't give 2 fucks about, even though there isn't much there. IO to me is bland. EDZ is a very close second. That was one major win making the map super huge. Loads of little places to explore, and they could connect it to the original D1 map if they wanted to.
  2. As Destiny is becoming a collection game (in the words of Luke Smith) then this seems ideal. One problem though, the vault isn't big enough to get everything, is it? Also reminding me how shit the armour drops have been for me for both faction rally and iron banner. RNGbastard.
  3. Yeah, and collapsed a few forums into one. Don't really see the harm in changing it to see what happens for a bit. Shame not many new guys have took advantage of that bit yet.
  4. Great stuff Rich! Really looking forward to seeing it, hopefully will get chance to whilst we're away. Looks epic.
  5. @Misneach_ and any other iPhone users, download Tapatalk. You can search and review Forever Gaming on there pretty easily. Its a basic app for us which is how I started to use FG 3/4 years ago.
  6. What's your favourite destination in Destiny 2 and why? Mine is Nessus. I enjoy visiting FailSafe (she is funnier than I initially thought) and the fact that some of the adventures of initially done around the Exodus Black make it a pretty interesting planet. Surprising too as I never really wanted to explore Venus with the Vex on Destiny 1.
  7. @tronic44 @Stretch616 @crispymorgan, is Sunday night a potential?
  8. Really good update, surprising actually. Cheers for sharing Chris @Amnotright Decent idea to customise your character as people like to do that kind of stuff. The daily challenges and Leaderboards should lead to more reasons to come back to the game, coupled with the Seasons update. Fair play to the developers. Next up surely is a new map. That would retain and bring back some of the player base who have given it a few go's.
  9. Hide in a bush. Don't move. Wait 10 minutes. Kill last person. Win.
  10. Up for trying a Prestige again tonight or this week as the modifiers are on our side if anyone is interested?
  11. W/C October 24th Weekly Nightfall - The Arm’s Dealer is this week’s strike with modifiers Torrent, and Time Warp: Zero Hour. - Torrent greatly increases the recharge rate of your abilities. Zero Hour prevents the mission timer from being extended. Meditations - Six: a crashed colony ship, an interspecies war… Cayde-6 got that adventure he wanted. Go save him from it. - Fury: help Ikora use the Warmind on Io to learn more about the Almighty—and turn the tide of the war. - Sacrilege: since the loss of her Light, Ikora has many questions—and she’s not leaving Io without answers. Flashpoint - IO is the destination this week. All you need to do is complete Public Events there (Heroic Public Events help a lot) to earn a Luminous Engram. Also, remember to pick up the treasure maps from Cayde-6. Call to Arms - Play a few Crucible matches (usually five-seven) to earn a Luminous Engram.
  12. Has anyone thought that it wpuld be a good idea to jave dedicated game nights for a specific game? I feel as ever we are all enjoying many different games but not absolutely loving one game. Just putting it out there, I know multiple people play GTA races. We could get 16 on if we knew 'that night' is races night. We could even try new big MP games. Equally we could also say one night is for raid nights on Destiny. Enough enjoy it but don't rock it hardcore (what I'm seeing from being online). Thoughts people?
  13. London has Fallen. Good crazy sequel to Olympus has Fallen. I'd say the first was slightly better but it was still a good easy watch with loads of blowing up shit. Twas fun.
  14. A few hours in and I must say it is a pretty smooth game. Probably shouldn't have played on hard difficultly straight away but the challenges and licences have been fun, especially trying to get to the top of your friends leaderboard I'd still say though DriveClub has slightly better controls and overall gameplay. Where GT Sport has done amazingly well on is the UI. All around you is amazing and slick features. Achievements galore, they've made a simple challenge and arcade race look extra special with rewards. The unveiling of a new gift car is brilliant too, the way they've thought about unveiling it to you. Makes you want to get another level to see another free car gifted to you. Not tried online yet. Think that'll be a completely different ball game.
  15. I've only just started this but fuck me its awesome. The fact that an early bsttle stops to let a car past is fucking hilarious. The way they've made collectibles and tge setting is neat and clear. The battle system is brilliant. Turn based, which I love, but with a twist with the chess-type grid you have to battle on. Love the sarcasm in it too. May catch up on some South Park now as I lost touch with it some years ago.
  16. Yeah, I personally think they fucked it up in the first Destiny because the first year was great but the years after they messed it up so it was something like 1 challenge, 2 masks and then you'd have to buy eververse to get the rest. With effectively a 2/3 month cycle for next available content alongside DLC, it sounds good as The Dawning looks like a decent event (don't think I ever did the first one in D1), but hoping a light level increase comes near it, even if its DLC. @Baabcat, haven't seen anything being mentioned about SRL. I wouldn't be surprised though as we've not had it for a while.
  17. Lol Phil, thats great. 'You're ace but go across goal mate, they work you out' Clearly, looking at his goal tally, lolz
  18. That's great mate. I'm pretty much in a position to nearly order whatever I need. Let me know your picks and I geniunely will be going with what you guys think as you all know more than me on these things.
  19. Deej has confirmed there won't be a Festival of the Lost for the first time in any Destiny year. I'm not bothered about it, it was only a few masks for fun and what they seem to be working on for Season 2 (The Dawning) looks promising as we'll have new armour and guns for the first time in regular dropped content. This game will turn around and I think it's naive to blow the game off this early.
  20. How has everyone's Season 6 has gone? I'm around 2100/2200. The more I play a few games here and there I'm beginning to think its a little broken right now. Its not even the D.Va change if I'm honest as she isn't that bad, just lose mechs way more. Can't put my finger on it, possibly the smurf accounts, or could just be as we all don't regularly play a dozen games a week together anymore, our form has dipped massively because of that.
  21. For rhe record, I hate this fucking map. God damn awful, too wide open at the start and doesn't come up on the rotation enough to get used to it. Probably a good thing. Is it just me or does anyone else get completely lost and run around in circles when leaving the defence spawn?
  22. We managed to nail the Prestige nightfall on our second attempt. Ot was really fun tbh, modifiers are pretty good ones. @Amnotright, @Diddums and myself found the beams of light took the most time away, mistiming jumps and wiping back to the start of the beams. 18 seconds left on the clock. Pulse grenades were a godsend. Also took @LordBaguette through a nightfall before reset day.
  23. Thanks. Just checking before I update my games.
  24. Campaign mode confirmed by EA to be 5-7 hours long. That's it. Wasn't the first one slammed for not having any real content? I get the game is based on MP for endgame stuff but why is it so light again? Like the first, unless you're into Star Wars, I don't see any reason to buy and play this. Even if you are a fan it already feels like a 'wait til half price game'.
  25. Like it @MrBiron, although how are you gonna get round it when games don't initially have Microtransactions at release and then you find out a few months later?
