  1. I know.....but it's OSIRIS! If there is a possibility of having his helmet so you can see your Guardians eyes, that would be an awesome update to gear.
  2. The DLC also includes the Infinite Forest. This always gets mentioned as 'procedurely generated' - keeps changing all the time. This could be a pretty decent space to keep coming back to, to find something brand new to try each visit.
  3. No but its the agile mentality. Lets give you something like a bike first whilst we work on making it into a car along the way. Thats opposed to getting no game at all. The way Change is done nowawadays is piece by piece rather than have no game for years and bam, a game (a great game) that you're done in a month. @J4MES OX4D, good point about the industry feeding the idea of progression, which in turn makes us as customers wanting more and more quicker. Games are made to have a winning point and part of this could be progression and/or have completion/tickbox exercises. Most sandbox games focus on the latter. Progression (skill points, light levels, upgrade points) are all there to slow the player down. You make me think about what could be done quicker. Content (tickbox) or Progression barriers?
  4. Stretch is ill atm but if he gets better soon I can play tues, weds, thurs and Sunday too.
  5. W/C October 31st Here’s what’s new this week: Weekly Nightfall The Arms Dealer is this week’s strike for the second week in a row, though this time the modifiers are different. This week, we have Prism, and Timewarp: Killing Time. - Prism automatically rotates the active elements, forcing you to rotate your weapons. - Timewarp: Killing Time lets you extend the mission timer by killing enemies. Challenges - Speed of Dark: complete the Nightfall with at least five minutes remaining. - Unbroken: complete the Nightfall with fewer than three deaths. - Trash the Thresher: shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn. Meditations - Unbroken: find Thumos the Unbroken and take the key codes he carries—by any means necessary. - Payback: time for Zavala’s grand entrance – Finally attacking the Red Legion based in the EDZ head-on. - Larceny: break into the Red Legion base and steal the personal shuttle of Thumos the no-longer-unbroken. Flashpoint The EDZ is this week’s destination. All you need to do is head over there and complete Public Events. Raid Challenge Mode First challenge week is on Royal Pools encounter. Begins at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 5pm GMT, 6pm CET.
  6. Tried it once I think? Tbh, I only look at the Clan roster. If I remember then I'll look at my friends list that may have a few other people from different clans but there isn't many on there. Just need to time the right day as most are on for Tuesdays but equally there are more on across the weekend.
  7. Apparently a 9GB download required on Day 1 from Sledgehammer to play the game. Either there was a fuck ton wrong with it or they were trying to hide certain key info that's not in the physical copy. Ridiculous to have such a large download on Day 1 when whoever buys this just wants to pick up and play.
  8. Epic and mental in game trailer from Paris Game Week.
  9. Totally agree with the dlc content shouldn't lock down everyone. That is a pretty dumb move - you might as well say its a subscription game so expectations are set. I think our own problem is we (humans, not special people/aliens ) compare too quickly and too often. Expectations grow more and more when we've played amazing games and we're very quick to put down a game. Maybe is because when there was fewer games coming out we were satisfied when we had a bad/boring day on the game, we knew we'd be okay the next day?
  10. I want to see them be clearer on the content and ask them to be really clear when talk about the game. Most of the issue I'm starting to believe is more about how people at Bungie talked and continue to talk about the game. Right now, it would be better to concise and clear about facts. Don't hide behind 'New Raid Content', just tell us what that means now. More should do the adventures and focus on those as a objective. Many are really fun to do.
  11. Great fun doing nightfalls and prestige nightfalls with@Diddums and@luceowolf. Last week's nightfall was really fun and challenging to run. @crispymorgan need to get your Power level up so we can do a Prestige one. Sorry we couldn't get another one to tag along Brede, we'll see who's about this week and depending on the modifiers if we do it again later in the week. In other news, was going to try a few raids later in the week if people want to run them or experience certain parts?
  12. I don't think you're being over critical as I get where you're coming from Gary. I started a separate thread on why i think its broader about how games are made. Take Overwatch, same enemies, same maps, 'new PvE' turns up...oh, hang on, its nearly exactly the same as last years. Thats worse than recycling a similar area and making a new mission imo. They are trying to hit possibly the hardest sector of games. We all want that amazing single player mission style campaign but multiplayer. And then lots more of it after we've completed it. I think this will be a good expansion for Destiny 2. In context to what we will get for our money. I'm with you, it does need more and we need to criticise it for its faults. Maybe I'm being more direct in my opening response because I just see 1/2 games that have been made brilliantly and full of content. Most other games now follow a 'build base game' then 'add more content afterwards'. Horizon Zero Dawn took 7+ years to make. People completed within a month and its done. (I appreciate xpac is coming but will be only and nothing else substantial added since live).
  13. What's your gaming expectations? For instance what do you want to experience when you turn your console or PC on? What I think is happening is 2-fold. 1) Gamers expectations are changing and are critical of negative things quicker than in the past 2) The way that most games are made have a different model to how they were made in the past Partly, the reason I'm asking is because I'm pretty tired of how games form a toxic and negative behaviour very quickly these days. As an outsider to the CoD days, I think people had more acceptance of how games were made until over 10 years of the franchise found it difficult for people to support it any longer. I could go on but I want to hear your thoughts. I have to appreciate I'm more of a half-full kind of guy when I view things, but I and many others I would think agree that the negativity of many communities breed more negativtity and disinterest in games which is unfair to push new people away from pretty solid games.
  14. Yes, it is shitty how it feels like they carved up the game but we've got to start waking up to what age we live in now for games and 'content'. Lore wise and if anyone cares about the story this is possibly one of the best updates we could have to a Destiny game. Osiris is the most notorious guardian and it shows him fighting with his well known fateful fireteam in the Vault of Glass. To see more of that already for me sounds exciting to see more of. What I've read and seen so far is were getting some exotics back and more new guns and armour. Graviton Forfeit - Hunter Helmet Telesto Jade Rabbit No Time To Explain More Trace Rifles like Coldheart Raid content is an interesting one. Will it mean we get additional areas and bosses to fight on the Leviathan or will it mean we get to go back to Vault of Glass? Either one I'd be happy with. We'll also get a level cap increase of some kind. Its floating around about lv25 but I expect possibly lv30 is what we'll get. Problem I see is our expectations of what we expect in games and achievements. Stepping back from it all, if they make Master Rahool back to his shit RNG tricks again, I think we'd love it. We internally love the grind more than we know. When its too easy to obtain stuff, thats when you drop a game quickly.
  15. When I talk about socially, I mean the concept they have of co-operatively play across various types of missions, patrols, raids, coupled with clan features. They all benefit from having a fireteam, socially working together. I wasn't on about the services they offer or don't as the case may be. I wasn't surprised about the no chat on PC btw. Another thing to follow at some point in the not too distant future.
  16. I wouldn't say this is anywhere near being dead like CoD Brede, although people are quicker are in general quicker to jump off bandwagons after they've had something new. Its just human nature. Tbh, most is justified for the points Chris @TigerBurge mentioned above. They can't expect many of the old regulars to grind as much as they did in D1 due to the content is effectively too easy to run through. But at the same point, all I read here and most other places is that people are frustrated, not done with the game. It has such an amazing foundation for the social aspect of games deep into its core so it will always draw people in. We just all hope they listen and people can keep the faith with the content drops coming. There isn't another game that can draw socially this many people in atm. Maybe Anthem in some years away but who knows. They know how to make a damn good game and D1 Y3 would've been extremely overwhelming for a newbie to start the game fresh.
  17. Okay. I'm going to do my best to glaze over the 'raid content' comment and just say that the trailer is fucking fantastic. Really hope the story lives up to the trailer as it definitely grabs you in.
  18. I'm going to be around for prestige nightfalls tonight if people want to run them? Modifiers are in our favour.
  19. Rich couldn't make it in the end. @tronic44, when you next free for 10 minutes? @Capn_Underpants @LordBaguette @Findmartin @Mikepjbell @Amnotright @Misneach_ @crispymorgan @Diddums Can you all please try and arrange your game, otherwise its abit pointless saying yes and then not playing.
  20. Yeah, but there's only currently @Bruce, @crazyman and @turney19 in it. I put some feelers out at launch but haven't asked for recruits since then. They are in the same clan tag as its cross-platform.

  22. It's an option of the browser, not FG. Click the burger menu (top right) on Chome, then click request desktop. When I get home from the weekend, switch on signatures for mobile unless someone sees this before me and switches it on.
  23. So you can do both. You can switch to desktop if you want. There's a option you can click somewhere I'm sure. Also, I can set signatures on mobile version if people want it. You can then select if you don't want to see them, just like the desktop version. I'm cool either way.
  24. Yeah, it is good mate. I'll get the other two has I don't have them. I have the ornament for D.A.R.C.I so glad i get the actual gun now. I'm a little disappointed in the fact he only sells 4 things. Xur's inventory on screen is a prime example of what Bungie have done. I'd love it if he could sell more stuff, or even have his own token system. I don't know why that would be an issue as all other vendors have that system. It'd work well for Xur as he is timebased so people would grind in the week for his tokens for a unique reward.
  25. Ok, size. I'd love a big tower but Hayley won't have it on show. My gaming cave is off the kitchen so its made so you don't really see my game consoles and games. I have a place though I could hide it. I'd just have to connect the wire to my tv everytime I use it. The alternative is having the size of an xbox one which could go within my cabinet. I don't know the pros and cons so I'll go with what you guys say. A dvd player is always useful. I enjoy physical remember. Lol. There's room for an OS in that budget. I don't know how much they cost these days as previous ones came with my laptops. WiFi - yes. I will look to do ethernet via Powerlines but useful if i have to move it. Actually, some better powerlines might be worth buying too. Future proof it on graphics side Phil. @Greboth, cheers mate. I'd love to get us all together to do this. Keyboard and mouse i need. Was looking at Razr ones. I'll also look for a moveable tray that i can rest them on so I can play away from the tv. I know the TV may restrict graphics so heres the catch. I have 2 white 32" TVs alongside each other. If you found a white 32" monitor that could be the second one, I'll consider buying it. Back to my original point of the wife wanting the area to not look too gamey cos of where it is. When the kids are much older and fly away, I'll get the chance to do what I want with an entire room. Hope that helps for now?
