  2. EA have been quite direct on this. Shutting down Visceral Games a month or so ago but putting their money on the Respawn team, who to be fair have done wonders with Titanfall 2 and an improvement in Star Wars. Should be a good thing for EA games in general as long as the developers get a good deal and not shipped off behind the scenes in 12 months just so EA can work on Titanfall 3. I also wonder if they could've released the Titanfall 2 at a better time not around other AAA games, Respawn's value would've been considerably more than what they have been bought for.
  3. EA has acquired Titanfall 2 developer Respawn Entertainment in a sensational deal worth close to $500 million depending on performance targets hit by Respawn. For that, read ‘Metacritic scores’. “We’ve seen firsthand the world-class calibre of Respawn as a development studio with incredible vision, deep talent and an inspiring creative mindset,” says Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA. “Our longtime partnership is grounded in a shared desire to push the boundaries and deliver extraordinary and innovative new experiences for players around the world. Together, we’ve brought this to life in the Titanfall franchise, and now with the Respawn team joining EA, we have exciting plans to accomplish even more amazing things in the future.” Respawn said it’s similarly pleased with the outcome of the deal. “While it wasn’t necessary, going with EA made a lot of sense,” said Respawn founder Vince Zampella. “With Titanfall and Star Wars, EA has been a great development partner that supports us and doesn’t interfere with our process for making games or studio culture. EA will provide us with more resources, access to new technologies, and expertise that we can tap into to that will help us make better games, and Respawn will retain the same creative freedom and culture we’ve always had. We’ve been talking closely with the leadership at EA and we share their values and vision for the future of being a developer-focused company that puts the players first.” I’m sure there will be many an eye roll at that last comment in particular.
  4. What have people chosen so far to use? I've started with Airborne but the sprinting is really annoying me as it only lasts a few seconds. The suppressor perk for the SMGs is great though. Any other specific stuff we should know about each division?

  6. @Stretch616 @tronic44 and Ajay (@crispymorgan) lets see if we can get our done tonight! If crispy is on he could probably record as a spectator?
  7. Starting 5th December - New Reset Times 9 AM - PST 12 PM - EST 5 PM - GMT 9 PM - MSK 2 AM - JST 4 AM - AEDT 6 AM NZDT
  8. Just a quick roll call to see who's coming? The ones I know are coming are: Crispy @crispymorgan Lee @GazzaGarratt Stretch @Stretch616 Chris @Amnotright Dave @Diddums Kyla
  9. Nice to hear James. Is the campaign co-op up to 4 players? Never really think about the campaign on CoDs these days but after the last few nights its drawn me in. Be good to do a co-op runthrough.
  10. Oh, this also means Matt/Mike, you're up to play Phil and Marina next. Let's get it on!
  11. Nice work for getting the games done everyone! Nice vid too Sam! What was the scores so Rob can update them?
  12. So we managed to get 9 in tonight, could've been way more. I must say it is even better than I expected. Another addition not expected. I think we could easily get a 6v6 FG War game going but also a full 18-man free for all. Who doesn't love a game where you can shotgun Didds in the face. Need to have a good look around the setup of custom games and what loadouts we can make. Any suggestions stick them here. Oh, and Kiwi, your skills annoy me you bastard! [emoji12]
  13. Took me a minute to get the Gauntlet rotation. Cheers Rob, seems not too difficult but considering you rotate roles I'd say comms have to be on point. We're fucked
  14. When I get on you'll need to talk me through this sentence. It sounds amazing but I have no idea how to do it! Lol.
  15. I want something that is future proofed so it can work on a gaming monitor. If I can get the monitor at the same time, bonus. Oh Rob, that monitor is only available in the US unfortunately.
  16. I think that I see your point with the maps - that is just down to their good old DLC policy like every game IMO as the maps will come. You picked it out though probably why you don't like it. You said you 29-0 but that means sweet FA in this mode. Its all about how your team works together at each objective. And just like Overwatch, this mode will have specific spots on their maps that will need fixing. Grenades get thrown everywhere when your pushing the payload, er, I mean, the tank so much so its crazy and a little too clusterfucky. Maybe grenades should have separate timers to respawn like Destiny has. Otherwise it attracts the qrong behaviours, like @crispymorgan worked out it was better to throw your grenade and die to get another grenade back. It wont be for everyone but its so far the best mode I'd want to party up on.
  17. Well, I'm impressed so far even though I suck really bad. It's so fast paced that I feel I need to learn the maps first, as I'm getting hit from places I can't track back and find. It's definitely a good buy, mainly because partying up last night was just what you wanted. @ChaosGladiator @crispymorgan and @TigerBurge came into the squad and we had some great War games. I'd liked that it was so objective based. Nice to grab a few games with @JBR-Kiwi too. The HQ is a great to pass the time waiting for a game. I also like how the supply drops can be called in.
  18. That sounds like to me why it is the best game mode. Going to try it tonight to see how I feel about it. @J4MES OX4D maybe you feel that way as you've had terrible teammates? I've found on these types of modes is all about your team rather than the mode.
  19. I need to find a damn 32" gaming monitor in White. I know its awkward but with the size of the case its probably the only catch.

    Spawn

I wouldn't know as I need to fix my time being on the server. However, the idea sounds really interesting. Like trading ourselves or something?
  21. Thanks for sharing Chris. So is it 4v4 like the original ps1 days? Didn't realise you could party up on it.
  22. I feel for someone like Moyes though as the perception of him as a person in the press makes him a write off before he starts. That said, I wouldn't want him [emoji23]
  23. They are pretty awesome to look at Seb. I suppose people will need a ballpark at what you can do for these. Whats shipping to say, UK or USA as I'm gonna guess that's a fixed price?
