    After seeing a comment made by one of the veterans of FG, the first FGer of the Month award goes to 2 people rather than one. Rob @reaper-2201 and Hector @Horrible_Hector. We've had a number of high intense weeks on Destiny a little while back and they supported most of the raids, helping newer inexperienced people get their maiden Leviathan and/or Eater of Worlds completion. Then they dedicated a whole night and a half to help over half a dozen people on FG get their Whisper of the Worm exotic - a run that you have to wait until a Public Event arrives and then essentially 2-man a 20 minute mission. Over and Over. I'll be sending them a $5 gift card when I get back from my hols, just like I said we would do this for each month for the first year. I'd love to see this type of support for everyone over the coming months, especially when Forsaken drops, but also for other games as well. Keep posting up your stories and whats been happening in your world of gaming - everything is read and taken into account. GGFG

    Don't forget that its FG GTA FRIDAY TODAY!! I'm gutted I can't be there - i'm away for a few days with the family but would love it if people capture some mini clips so we can have some laughs looking back at all the rage inducing fun you've all had. Remember to put your name down so one of the guys on tonight can round everybody up and send invites out.

    Only had myself and Gary on for a raid last night so it didn't happen. Currently looking at the raid events we have across the weekend we've got 1 'Going' on Saturday and 1 'Going' on Sunday. The late Spire of Stars one on Sunday has 2. If y'all want to keep the raids going, can you have a look and see if you can attend one please. Equally, if you can't, can you Decline because as it stands it looks like lots could make it but they may not happen. As i'm away for a few days until Sunday night, I don't have the time to chase around to find 6, but I really don't think I have to do that every time. Over to all of you now - Discuss. Shout up. Can't make it? Tell us. Post up when you can do one. Create one yourselves. It also doesn't have to just be for raids either. We need to keep making them and keep at it as it eventually pays off, like the week we had a few weeks back.

    The director will now look like this Initial thoughts are that it looks much more streamlined yet lots of places to go - which can only be a good thing. The picture below shows how challenges will be found on the director. It will be now for us to find all the key objectives, through the director and within the pursuits tab. Oh, if you're wondering where the Leviathan is (because I was) its apparently in the Nessus sub-menu which kinda makes sense, although I wouldn't seen it being an issue still seeing it on the Director.

    Everybody that is interested in Forsaken and to get their head around the changes must read the update above. This is a massive update of news and definitely interesting approaches on how to make the game more rewarding for longer. I don't think many people will be disappointed with the info either. Definite hype after this and I seriously have to give them a pat on the back for continuing to be transparent and clear upfront. That's what everyone has wanted for the past year which they've made significant strides to.

    There is some definite noise about that too. People have spotted quite a lot of new armour that has Ahamkara scales. Also, there's been quite a number of Serpent looking images across the recent trailer. There's one image that is like a snake but has 2 heads?! Ahamkara are usually known though to be mythical style dragons, not snakes style creatures.

    Couldn't find a decent video but here's a short one just showing a little gameplay of it. Very close quarters required it seems. Not sure if its worth keeping it all the time over a shotgun that has greater range and a higher mag size.

    Good to hear if you bring a guided missile then it can't turn as much as it used to aswell as speed reduction.

    So what we just seen in the recent Dreaming City video is the Queen's Techeuns - shown next to the Queen in the second pic. Now I originally I straight away jumped to the Queen being the raid boss however, people including Byf are saying that it looks like its been recently been took over by Taken energy. Only thing that could do that is Savathun.

    The Calendar has a bunch of raids on it now. This week and next week. First one is tonight so take a look and please answer if you can be around or not. Make sure to check into next week too. I need to put new times on to try Prestige and SoS Lair but as we haven't done some for a while I just added times on for everyone normal raids.

    No worries mate, I think its great just someone else put a raid time tbh. Unfortunately I'm away on Friday and Saturday night. Hope there's enough around for a team - i'd love to do it next week some point if you're around.

    Couple of Better Devils pics from the stream. Notice they have perks (blue circles) all different. From left to right: - First column is sights still - I believe random rolls - Second column perk - Random - Third column perk - Random - Fourth column perk - Random - Fifth column is kill counters for both PvE and PvP. Interchangeable whenever you want. Note that this doesn't appear until you upgrade the Masterwork level to around 5 or 6. Mods are now effectively one more significant perk. Both images show different perks available which give specific stat bonuses. There are also a few that are dedicated just to PvE too. I'll find a full list somewhere (or if anyone else does, that would be ace if you could post it here). The Masterwork upgrade 10 times. Costs more the higher you go. Incrementally you can buy an upgrade with: - Glimmer - Legendary Shards - Masterwork Cores All in all, its a fantastic update to the weapon upgrade system. This is what I was on about when I said earlier like D1 but way better.

    Nope. The one thing that is fixed perks and burns are exotics. The stream doesn't state it but no guns will be able to change burns, unless it is a specific special thing about the gun (like Borealis Sniper).

    I mentioned on a previous thread about The Blind Well essentially being the Escalation Protocol of The Dreaming City so you see a tiny clip of it here. Also looks like the 3-weekly rotation will start in Light and end in Darkness, progressively getting harder. There is so much lore here for the nerds out there. My guess now is on the Queen for the Raid Boss.

    Tell me about it! It was hilarious as hell and didn't think to try it at all but having this on for a week every so often makes me feel like its the better coming back for a laugh. 4v4 suits it too. Plus you can use it to get better at super kills.

I think you came across my one and only non-PMA night last night! 😂 Glad you're aboard, hopefully we can get some raids going soon and all the shiny Destiny stuffs. Division 2 does look like a game that will be taken up here too so great to hear that as well! Enjoy your stay at FG Leon, take a around and get involved if/when you can
