I'll come out right now and say the main reason why people couldn't get on with it was because it was a proper raid. Multiple big boss battles and some mechanics to learn. Thats how full raids should be (barring the stupid running in a figure of 8 running). Also, because of that, Raid Lairs should get more credit than they got on release. It we ask ourselves truthfully, its because we haven't got time to complete raids most of the time. Don't let the length of this put you off straight away. This raid shows early signs of the pinnacle of all raids which is great news.

The raid completion has set off a number of changes in the Dreaming City. This seems like the first rotation of 'the curse' on the City to the half way place to its strongest rotation. I jumped on quickly to see what has changed. After a brand new cutscene you have 3 new things so far that are different. First is black Taken spots that are everywhere. This could and should mean new things popping up in new places. Second is the fourth new strike of Forsaken is available on the Director, The Corrupted. Its level 500 and some people should have a bounty ready to use that requires you to do the strike whilst adcendant (drink a Queensfoil). Third is a brand new mission new mission became available at Petra! I solo'd it as its 520 so not too hard but a fun different mission nonetheless. This should be a new quest as at the end it told me there was a new step however this may be hidden currently as its not in your inventory. It does give you a Powerful Drop though which was nice. Looking forward to what else we should find. Let us know if you see anything else on the map?

Lolz. I'm so glad they made an emblem for the first 24 hours completion 😂 You do need some serious power to get through final stages. I still won't check anything video or step by steps info. I seen Byf asking for help this morning from people that are 555 or higher as a minimum for the last segments of the raid. Grind has become very, very real.

Love it. Someone thought they had and then another phase kicked in! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] ITS DONE! Team Clan Redeem have done it. They are possibly going to be the only team within 24 hours at this rate. Unbelievable.

I'm not watching any clips of any kind because I want to have my first run blind however I'm reading my Twitter feed and they are still going for World's First! Atheon was 14 hours World's First completion....this is the first raid that could beat it! This is even with people around 550 Power too. Me thinks alot of us have a few weeks of grinding to do....

Oh nice! Its definitely something that are always sought after by many companies. I think its good for anyone actually as it gives you some appreciation as to what goes on many things that we all use on a daily basis.

Important notes to know if you played in Year 1, then Xur isn't much use and won't be for quite a while. Xurs Fated Engram is bugged and will return in a number of weeks. Xur will not sell Forsaken Exotics, nor will they be in the Fated Engram once back for "a long period of time". Only positive to be aware of, that Bob mentioned in the early tips thread, is that Year 1 exotics do drop with a few additional random perks which mean they will be slightly better than original drops.

In the Garden of Esila (currently) there is a chest that requires you to kill worms that are dotted around the surrounding environment in order to open the chest. You need to find and shoot 10 worms in order to open the chest. Whilst they'll be 10 worms in locations you initially find, there are reports of many spawn points (possibly up to 20) for the worms therefore we'll need to start collecting each spawn point and pass the knowledge on. Equally, the Wormhost Chest may spawn in a different week by week which isn't confirmed yet. Loot Lootwise I believe it should be like a regular Ascendant Chests you find around the Dreaming City. It is classified as a "Secret" if you are completing a "Find Secrets" Bounty from Petra and there is also a Secret Triumph connected to unlocking the chest as well. Let us know what you find!

Its a paired gun with the Legendary gun, Drang. Its actually very powerful in certain instances if you use them right. Ask @Blubear.

It definitely feels like they had so much to do that the Blind Well was finished in a tight deadline. I agree on the loot but even more so on the variety of bosses. Its like Court of Oryx but with the same boss spawning everytime. I do expect them to develop it more and not just leave it like it is. Unlike Escalation Protocol that is unlikely to be modified (although i think thats fine as it is), is that it is on the Endgame planet. I can't see them just leaving the Blind Well alone for that reason as they've badged it as the place to continually go back to at the end.

We'll make use of catch up as usual and throw a few Last Car Destroyed on some races to keep things squeakybum tight! We'll see if we can some recordings this week and then start picking up videos again. Bring a beer, or 7! Make sure you RSVP if you can or can't make it!

Any tried them yet? Haven't got a Seed of Light from Tier II's yet. They seem to be really enjoyable however as it currently stands the matchmaking needs to be looked into so an FG team of 6 can go at it. You usually get 1 or 2 randoms in there atm sometimes can be empty. Here's hoping to see more as I think many just haven't got to The Dreaming City yet. Supers play a key roll once you activate Harmony with the orb.

The Blind Well is an activity that mixes what Destiny 1 people called Archeon's Forge and Court of Oryx. To activate the Blind Well you require a Charge of Light. They can drop from all different activities within Dreaming City and also they are available to buy from Petra too. There are 3 Tiers; Tier I, Tier II and Tier III ( there is talk about that it has a fourth tier due to whats available to buy from Petra). Once you deposit a Charge into the main centre core of the Blind Well, you will activate the Tier I,II or III. You then hold different control points with the sole of objective of killing the enemy to charge each point to 100%. Once you have done 4 waves, with each control point in a different place, you then have the boss or bosses. To kill bosses, you need to kill a High Value Target that glows silver. He drops a Harmony orb which allows you to damage the bosses super. Once the shield is down then anyone can do damage as much as they like. Tier I - 1 Boss Tier II - 2 Bosses Tier III - 3 Bosses (combbination of Tier I and Tier II bosses) Currently Tier II completions reward a rare chance for a Sedd of Light. This allows you to activate anothe one of your supers. There is also talk that Tier 3 will drop you your 3rd subclass Super but I haven't seen this yet. Very hectic but quite good fun,.

Week 2 Ascendant Challenge is completely different to the first week as you eventually need to kill all of the huge knights in the ascendant world. The Portal for this week is in the Garden of Esila, right at the bottom of the map just off the cliff. Step 1 - Use Tincture of Queensfoil Step 2 - Jump through portal Step 3 - Collect 3 orbs marked on the map Step 4 - Deposit orbs in the middle of the map Step 5 - Kill all Knights and enemies. Once the orbs have been deposited the middle of the map will become a spot where you can regen your super abilities instantly. This is critical as the Knights are mostly OHK on you because of how strong they are. Step 6 - Collect loot from chest I'd highly recommend doing this as a fireteam of 3 because I've done this tonight with @Bluebear and @Kemp210 and it was pretty tough even just trying to land back in the middle to get your super back before the Knights used their sword to cut you in half.

A few tips that @Horrible_Hector mentioned last week were to stand on top of the blights and punch them as you don't take damage. Also, find a tree that you can jump in as the knights cannot hurt you whilst you kill the crystals.

The Ascendant Challenge from week one was called Aphelion's Rest. This is currently one of the bounties up for sale at Petra. On completion it will grant you Powerful Gear. Ascendant Challenges require you to use a 'Tincture of Queensfoil'. This will allow you to see ascendant world elements around the Dreaming City. The following steps should outline what to do in this challenge: Go to the Aphelion Lost Sector - This is situated under where Petra is. Fall off the cliff and then walk around the edge of the cliff to the left. Consume your Tincture of Queensfoil - it only lasts 30 minutes so makes sense to use it just before entry Half way through the Lost Sector a portal will be in the air, you can't miss it Once through you need to destroy 4 Blights. Best advice is ignore all enemies. When each blight is destroyed, a huge knight will spawn in and they will chase you. Again, best to ignore. Once all blights destroyed, the crystals in the middle will be available to shoot. Shoot all crystals to despawn all enemies Collect loot from chests

Just a note to the Destiny FGers. Gonna try and spend some time putting up some separate threads up about lots of different activities in the Dreaming City as I think many won't have touched the surface (including me) and it may help all of us look through and find some things to do to party up with other FGers. Was gonna put it in its own sub-forum within Destiny but equally can leave the multiple threadsin here. Just lemme know what works for you guys. Cheers
