  1. This is most likely be far bigger news than the upcoming Season of Opulence. This is the first ever Bungie will be going it alone proper and something tells me this will be a pretty big announcement. For some reason i'm feeling like they are going to release some content that we either 1) don't expect or 2) did expect but we'll get it for free. The Annual Pass was a killer for a lot of people and I think they need to see how it compares to other games that are in the market. With the new CoD not having a season pass, I think they'll have to look at Eververse and see what they can do with that - I also think with how they are remodelling Eververse, I'm pretty comfortable in them charging what they want to in that space. Overwatch has done it for years with random loot boxes so allowing direct purchases for what you want is fine and hopefully supports the game better. The head of E3 is also meeting them an hour for a live discussion after their reveal just under a week after this (June 11) so its really heading for some large positive news - just at a time when it needs it the most.
  2. Bungie tweeted this out yesterday. Expect this via Twitch and YouTube and also expect to see Luke Smith on the stream. 5pm GMT if you need to translate the timing.

  5. Far better. Than one moment with Ned becomes a good starting reference to shocks and plot twists. I breezed through the first 5/6 seasons absolutely hooked.
  6. Next week we had FGer Game Choice and @Misneach_ picked BO4 Blackout? I'll put up an event shortly.
  7. Agree with a lot of that mate. Good news is that Competitive loss points now don't mean anything towards the Crucible Pinnacle Questin Season 7 as its all about the points. Good move I say as its gut wrenching to have one good night followed by a terrible one and feel like playing teh previous day was pointless. No sparrows still in Mercury is ridiculous. They said they were looking to do it but i'm sure they said just before Forsaken they wanted to but because of priorities content was more important than this. I get that but you still sit here i think there must be another reason why its restricted. The new 6 player activity i'm hoping for less mechanics, more just all out fun in a party of 6. I think thats where they should angle so raids can be mechanically challenging sometimes. Weapons is an interesting one. I know if i didn't force myself to try out something else when the sandbox changes came out I would've just stuck with my loadout. I'm finding this time round there is more variety that can work for you but like all shooters, cod, battlefield, etc, its all down to your playstyle and attitude to try out stuff. I know on CoD MW i barely change guns when i've found one that i'm half decent with. Gunsmith totally agree. Even with the new bounties coming next week to buy from him, i'd love to see Armsday come back as the underlying code and details of Armsday has been in the game somehwere for quite a while.
  8. I don't think many were completely unhappy on how it went or how it finished (apart from @TigerBurge😂) its more that they could've fleshed out a lot more about the backstory of some plots and characters. More episodes would've meant much more connection to the audience like most of the earlier series.
  9. I think i'd only consider it if we felt like we wanted a BFV game night with a bunch of us.
  10. I agree, definitely worth picking up for free. How many in a group? I've seen some of the American FG family play it (@Horrible_Hector @igotmollywhopped @Capn_Underpants @SensaiNemesis) If its as quick as you say Rob, I don't mind playing the odd 30-60 minutes when we're just trying to fill time between games, etc. Usually we're missing a game that fills the void/waiting time.
  11. We could see how many are about tonight? I'll put a few messages out there to see who's about 😄
  12. Exclusivity still is there for PS4 but now only 7 days before other platforms. The whole Cross Platform thing will be interesting now its been confirmed. I'm fine with Console to Console, just not with PC because of the K&M advantage. Maybe it won't be a big issue after all as i've read the COD player base on PC is relatively small. This looks promising right now. Hoping more will come out regarding MP in the next few weeks and then at E3.
  13. Fuckin GET IN THERE DAN!! Epic work, you've never ever gave up once and its 1 million percent deserved. Totally made up for you pal. Ace news. P.S. With the attitude you have, that house will soon be reality, mark my words. ❤️👊
  14. The most randomnest game that I've ever seen so must be good? Guy has a crazy mind. Graphically actually looks great.
  15. Welcome (officially) Clive! Hope you enjoy your stay at FG, definitely had some good laughs on Destiny already. Make sure you take a look around and get involved where you can/want to. I'm sure the guys would help recommmended that headset you're looking into as well. Have you ever been into other games on the PS4? Just thought i'd ask as we try and group up every so often for a big game session to have some fun and banter whilst we can e.g. CoD MW, GTA, etc? See you out there pal 😎👊
  16. Wow. That's disappointing. I would've thought at the very least they could have made something from the ending to bank a few more $$$.
  17. I want to finally start Stellaris properly before any other strategy games but with some decent ratings it'll be worth looking out for a decent deal on it.
  18. As long as you don't bring Llorente on, you'll be fine 😄 then again, now i've said that just go and watch get the winner of his knee whilst trying to head the ball.
  19. Ahh, okay mate. I'll look to do that then. Just haven't got any consistency since hopping back on it.
  20. Same here but I want to try out the Bow. If its a Pinnacle Weapon, then i'm more than likely going to give it a go because it has to have something going good for it. The Menagerie (or meringue I'll redub it as they taste nice) is the one thing i've been waiting for since D1 days. We needed another 6 player activity other than just raids and Quickplay. More stuff to keep people together in a group is a masssive plus so I hope it looks the business. Menagerie stands for a collection of wild animals kept in captivity for exhibition. Here's hoping it will be a fun Escalation Protocol type activity where we can look to grind and jump into around other things. If it brings 6 people together then there's also more chance of raids which would be nice to get back to.
  21. 3 Pinnacle Weapons in Season of Opulence Gambit - Bow - Hush Crucible - Sniper - Revoker Vanguard - Grenade Launcher - Wendigo GL3
  22. On June 4, the treasure hunt begins. Available to all players of Destiny 2, Season of Opulence will deliver new challenges, loot, and lore. Seasonal ranks for ritual activities will be reset once more, with a fresh set of Pinnacle weapons available to earn. The Iron Banner will be updated with a seasonal Quest to unlock armor. This summer, the Solstice of Heroes event returns with new rewards. Owners of the Destiny 2 Annual Pass will receive their third extension of Destiny end-game content. Benedict-44 will be waiting in the Tower to help launch the new season. He’ll have your imperial summons, introducing you to treasure hunts, the Menagerie, and more. This will be the final update to the Destiny 2: Forsaken Gameplay Calendar, showcasing all content introduced through Season of the Forge, Season of the Drifter, and Season of Opulence. Calus would see you grow stronger through The Chalice of Opulence, which serves as a Guardians gateway to treasure in the Season of Opulence. Players who best the Menagerie, a new six player matchmade activity, will use the Chalice to create an offering of runes in exchange for the specific weapons and armor that they seek. Over time, Guardians will be able to upgrade the Chalice to acquire more plentiful and powerful rewards. All players who have completed the Forsaken campaign will be welcome to try the Menagerie once, as well as access the Imperial Summons quest. This will grant players Power Surge gear at 690 power to help them jump directly in to the new season of content. Owners of the Annual Pass will see new Menagerie bosses introduced throughout the first month of June, concluding with the introduction of Heroic difficulty. Matchmaking will be available for normal difficulty, but Heroic will require a pre-made fireteam to take on the greater challenge. Each week, owners of Forsaken will also be invited to explore the worlds of Destiny 2 in search of treasure. Benedict-44 will have different objectives for you to complete during the hunt, leading to powerful rewards on your journey to 750 power. As we progress through the season, more content will come to light. Quests will be uncovered, leading to Exotic gear. The Tribute Hall and Moments of Triumph become available to explore and complete. Solstice of Heroes brings a time of celebration, with new rewards and surprises in store.
  23. @phil bottle, as the resident Spurs fan here, do you think Harry Kane should start? A lot of talk about Moura and Son starting instead of him to give a different threat.
  24. Holy shit! How did I only just see this?! Season 3 on July 4th! And whoever made the deal to make this Coke advert below needs a pay payrise. Immediately. Really interesting to see how Season 3 goes.
  25. The fire team player count Always bugged me from D1 days. The idea of having only 3 on patrol limits us as a group. Now we have 3,4 and 6 parties needed for different stuff. I'd love it if they could increase most stuff to 4 as a minimum and have 2 or 3 more 6 player activities. To do a raid is sometimes a hard thing to schedule. And if you knock it out reasonably quickly there needs to be other things to keep the party together. Glad we have another 6 player activity coming in just over a week. Quest length Some quests, especially for exotics have been less than desirable. I loved the old style longer quests to get exotics. And even some legendaries too, dont just restrict it to Yellows. I'm not talking about Zero Hour and Whisper if you create a fantastic mission in it's own right but more steps communities can help each other with. That's what we all did in D1. Helped each other. Bring back Prison of Elders Underrated and concept could've been fleshed out so much more. Different enemies, more levels. A whole new loot pool with specific loot that can drop from each different boss. Variety within one mode helps the game. Specific strike loot. Not much reason to do strikes atm even though theres loads of them! The loot key system they introduced late in D1 would be ace. But then having multiple exclusive loot for each one so once you have a gun out of a strike, you can still do it again. Infusion I defended it initially. Infusion should really matter more than just keep infusing into your one loadout you found early doors and dont change. However, if you make enhancement cores so scarce you feel forced too far into using some weapons you just dont wanna use. Hoping enhancement bounties from Banshee in a weeks time will be worth many cores each week. Competitive PvP When it's only fun in a group theres something wrong. Separate playlist from quick play is right but another playlist for groups and non-groups within Comp would be ideal. Solo players take a battering from Comp and therefore less enjoyable overall. Also, if they had more rewards or incentive for quickplay/Iron Banner it would reduce the issues we see today.
