  1. I think it has to have one now given where the core FPS playerbase is playing BR games from time to time. They also should be able to develop Blackout a little further, I'd love a Rainbow 6 esque BR with smaller map/quicker closing in to give faster matches. That's where Apex has it better than BO.
  2. Thanks for the share @Dan94, will give it a look when i get chance.
  3. Love it. How do people make this stuff?! Painful to watch but couldn't stop watching.
  4. Thats the unfortunate truth of it all, I agree. But I think what the benefit that everyone could see around the world way back when they went to the moon was that it brought everyone together around the world behind a good news story. And we need more of those. Space exploration is important, there is so much more to explore and figure out in that universe which you would hope help us understand and develop some brand new things never seen before. I still appreciate it will always ever be a nice to have for most people. Just a shame that it feels like its had the social 'Love Island' treatment, that its now boring and not exciting like when a girl ditches a bloke behind his back to kiss them and then goes to them. Like, what drama, you know? That's whats relevant now. 😶
  5. Tbh, we should check if the first hallway encounter to open up the doors counts towards progress. That's easily doable with just a few of us and we can constantly repeat it - although thinking about it, lets just do the goddamn raid again. its been too long already 😄
  6. I've never really been into Star Wars. In fact, I used to enjoy watching some Star Trek back in the day, especially when Jean Luc Picard was the Captain of the Enterprise. This brought it all back. I'm going to enjoy this and I think it already has a great nostalgic feeling, better than when he was in the last Wolverine film, Logan. I hoping that Number 2 will be back in some way but I don't think so. At least we have Data and 7 for the feels.
  7. Yeah, not heard if DayZ has gotten off the ground in console land. Unless its come down in price it'll stay there I imagine.
  8. Tagging them in case they don't see your message @Kemp210 @igotmollywhopped @reaper-2201 @Bluebear @SensaiNemesis. Well done mate! Great to hear you got your maiden run completed.
  9. Moon developer insights from Bungie. A really great video into how the moon will be changing from what we've seen in D1.
  10. Sea of Thieves is now moving to a monthly cadence for updates so we have more regular changes to the game that should make you want to stay in the game for longer periods rather than wait for months with the big content drops they've done previously. I like this way of updates. Initially feels light but before you know it they'll be a few more months content and it pushes the play around the seas and gives you multiple choices to have different nights chasing after different loot or whatever the update is. I really fancy jumping back into this to see if we can find some of this explosive loot and see if we can get the high value contracts/quests. What do others think to this more regular pattern of updates?
  11. Pretty significant changes. You will now be asked to pick the role you want to play before heading into a quickplay or a competitive game. Tank, DPS or Support. Once you find your game, you will be only allowed to choose a Hero out of the role you've pre-selected. They want to push the 2-2-2 format as they want the change in the meta which is already being seen in playtests and the fact that some heroes will be getting some substantial changes. I need to rewatch this one as its 16 minutes long but they probably needed a shake up to the game to keep it fresh...i'm just not sure forcing every team to be 2-2-2 is the way to go. At least they'll be 3 rankings you'll have now so if you end up having an awful score on one, you have 2 more chances to get your rank higher on the other 2 😄 What do you guys reckon? Good change or will it not be worth the effort?
  12. Nice @Dylanimo16. When it is properly going and the expert Phil has had a go, I may try to get a night on it with the others.
  13. Seems ominous in how they make a nod to some serious key personnel they are losing. Makes me feel like they have made a direction change for the game and they can't support as they could. Do you think they are winding down their workrate Phil?
  14. I don't want this ever to happen to prove a point but when will they just release licences for a reasonable cost so both FIFA and PES can have all the kits so people can just decide which one feels the better footballing experience for them. Unfortunately too many people pick FIFA because of the 'thrill' of FIFA packs and licences. I don't think this will change much in the upcoming years, regardless of Juventus' allegiance switch because Konami are extremely tight when it comes to stumping up licence fees. Football games for me were the be all and end all way back in my teens and I can't deny I miss that feeling. It will still take a lot to regular get me back there because of how much the games these days are reliant on you having a claw grip technique on the controller so you can use all 74 buttons at once to do a step over and pass back to the keeper.
  15. Sorry to hear you had to start again. I think they are the only thing the wife knows i'd never want to ever part with even if we have to sell everything else to keep us afloat. I did trade in 2 games once, felt physically sick afterwards and never did it again 😄 Some great games back in the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 era, i'd probably say they were some of the very best times for games. So many unique and great games back then. Defnitely dust it off dude, at the end of the day, we enjoy just hanging and playing together. If we can help other get stuff done thats a Brucey bonus. Make sure you do matey 👍
  16. He had a bad few months when Trent Alexander-Arnold decided to turn up his performances in the last few months. Before that, i still would've picked Trippier over Trent AA. Problem it looked like to me was his actual fitness levels took a beating and he struggled to make any impact in the last 15/20 minutes whereas someone like Trent AA was continuing to hurt teams in that last 20. I'd still put as England's number 2 and tbh he's going to the biggest club in Spain outside the El Classico rivals. I hear you @phil bottle, definitely agree to keep a player with more heart than skill, personally. Gels better with a team mentality.
  17. Thats a shame. Absolutely loved the New Order, one of my all time favourite SP games on the PS4, great storyline too. If I recall, there was some moments where you could get lost even on the old games as well the New Order which is the latest one i've played but not enough to piss me off. The AI have always been somewhat....different in Wolfenstein games to any others. Its usually why I end up playing it through on hard and then the highest difficulty on the next playthrough. As to the level design, do you think a better mini-map or objective beacon reminder system would be a better way to go? I don't think they could ever be an open world game, definitely suits the linear level design.
  18. That's interesting as an outsider and not a Spurs fan, I had the opposite opinion. Rather sell Rose than Trippier but you get to see your players way more than me so fair play.
  19. Destiny wise, theres plenty of us to help you level up reasonably quickly so dont let that put you off 🙂 yeah, ironically I end up playing Fortnite on my Switch on the weekends because I need to help my son do the battle pass challenges! it's not that bad of a game now they have tons of objectives to complete. Re: collections, once Gamestation on the high street stopped selling old games and they all went to eBay, people think as its 'retro' games are worth way more than they are. I always have a flurry of games in a small period or will look for a small job lot to try and justify paying over the odds for a game or 2. I'll dig out a website that I used to use to log my games and hardware.
  20. £15 seems abit steep for a monthly fee if you ask me.
  21. It does have a more of a competitive feel to it. I'd like to see the random gun generator on a gamemode with 6v6. That would be hilariously good fun.
  22. Funnily enough a top bloke at my work has just got a job as a QA lead at Codemasters after being a Test Lead at my place for a few years. He said money is completely different (much lower than expected) but can't complain as hes finally in the industry. You'll get there matey, if you want it badly enough! And 9k....you got off lightly compared to others! 😂😂😂
