Well, first time Deadline Day was exciting again. Although, the really good deals never materialised. I expected Spurs and Man Utd to come out on top and at one stage Spurs were there but somehow managed to lose the best deals. Shame that. Everton making big moves although getting Iwobi instead of Zaha for 40 odd million seems a weird one. Weirdly I know think Arsenal look alright mainly because everyone else didn't do well. On a personal note, 1 in 1 out for Blackburn. Was really surreal and odd to hear we'd loaned Charlie Mulgrew, Club Captain to Wigan (of all teams). But it kinda makes sense as he wasn't going to be played as much and has made some howlers last year, which he continued to do on the first game of the season.

VAR is the one. We'll see if and when it gets used tonight in the first game. One positive note is that the Referee's man in charge has confirmed they are going to try and keep to the stonewall decisions so i'm hoping we don't get to see soft penalties given after 7 minutes of stopped play.

I kinda missed it when it went down to a fiver. Now its gone back up around 15/20 - its still not much but i'm really worried it won't be me. it feels like a Minecraft in Space. I kinda get lost not knowing what to do when I don't have big shiny objectives in my face. I think I play games so I have to think too much 😂 I'd like to know more about co-operative play. If there was something worthwhile doing as group then it would definitely become more interesting and valuable for me.

I just don't get people sometimes.

Sigh. I'm not sure anyone here would defend any/all the points that the number of US politicians have been passing the buck to Video Games. I'd love to hear the facts if they had any.

Twitch have had quite a few problems of late, especially with the cat throwing incident recently for that streamer. Never watched Mixer but I dont seem to watch many streams unless it's one of you guys. I think Competition is always needed and being Ninja of all people to make the first switch will see a shift of viewers for sure.

Good decision to delay for a few more weeks to get it working properly. They've been praised about this across the board and maybe that's the timing as others have screwed up their launches so they get grace for not really getting the release date bang on. Also, Crosssave was confirmed on Twitter that it will come in August. Great news. At least we get a little more time too to finish Solstice armour and title seal objectives, along with the Iron Banner armour.

I think this is the first time I've disagreed with most of a Datto video. I remember watching it and hearing his disclaimer at the start that really it was a video that was made cos he tilted at Iron Banner. I think that's bang on. Main problem is that it seems to be PC issues more than console but also, the super element to PvP Destiny is in its DNA. Dont get me wrong, I'd like to see a no supers, no abilities lobby but my prediction would be after a short while people will just go back to usual Quickplay/Iron Banner playlist. I think if you're getting shat on by supers then it's likely you arent killing enough to build your super but also, why penalise people that have built their loadout and armour to reduce their supers to get more? That's good planning and grinding to get the right build of armour set. Iron Banner was a joy last time out and I'd argue that most of us here have the best PvP time because it also brings us all together more. I never used any of the annoying builds he mentioned and got on just fine with winstreaks galore. Only a few losses on record and I ain't the best PvP player by a longshot either.

Aston Villa have done superb in the transfer market imo. 12 signings, 145 million spent and another potential 2 to come before the deadline. Fair play. They clearly want to ensure relegation doesn't ever happen again and 5 out of 6 clubs that have gone up and spent over 50 million have stayed up.
