We'll wait until the new server is up to see how we update this thread going forward. We've had so many nights over the past few weeks i could write about but I just can't remember it all! The fact that we can drive straight off a cliff into the deepest Canyon in the game not once, but twice in the matter of days made me laugh so hard. @Greboth and @tronic44, you both blamed me but clearly we know who was at fault here! 🤣🤣

Yeah @RenFengge , i'm now forcing myself to find time to get the dogs for a walk to keep them happy but also get me some very needed steps an activity - unfortunately i've noticed a slight down turn in my health somewhat (mainly stomach/digestion problems) so I think getting back outside should help getting the blood moving and also slightly tuning my food intake. Wife thinks I should take an intolerance test but I hope a little kick up the arse for myself should see a natural change in my health. UK culture was starting to change but I think many companies have trust issues with WFH in the main. Its helped here in a way because companies have realised people in the UK really do want to still work and can make get the same or better output in their home environment. Main issues for me are twofold 1) has this been enough for them to see it can work and 2) mental wellbeing has took a huge knock because of everything so that could actually mean we still have some form of office based working e.g. 2-3 days in the office. Thats just my opinion on what I see though.

The sports games are exactly that. What's funny is we're having an absolute blast on FIFA 20 Pro Clubs and the PSN Store now has it on offer for £4.19. Yes, that's right, all for a pint. And the game is possibly exactly the same as this next installment. I wouldn't play it if it wasn't for a bunch of people here getting it (and PES continually not dropping a Pro Clubs gamemode) however, very much like GTA 5 that we play here on some FG Fridays, if you like football and have tried a footy game in the past you might as well spend less than a fiver and have a blast with us 🤷‍♂️

It was a great little race we had last night, didn't expect it either so nice one @phil bottle for sorting it and nudging me at the end of FIFA last night. Considering I play the least and never played that track before it felt pretty good to get round. Turns 1 and 2 essentially killed the laps for me, I think it didn't help being in the Mclaren, drifting everywhere. Still, when the race got going with a reverse grid I managed to keep the lead for most of that first lap and kept with you both for at least the first 3-4 laps too. The backend would just drift too much around the corners which was painful. Greebs did what he does best in the end and punished us in the later laps. I took a picture of the race result over 11 laps as its a nice marker to start with for our very first proper FG race. Now we just need @JBR-Kiwi and @Mikepjbell on it too

Yeah, i'd like to ofc...I think I nearly made it round the whole base in that moat, upgrading it and putting blade traps down! 🙈🤣 Yep, totally get that and i'll always go with the consensus because you all have played this much longer than me. I can only talk about this instance we've played and its been the best experience we've had by a mile over the years. Clearly it helps having more of us around this time, especially the new peeps too! 😎

More than happy with the reset, its just been really good to learn about the game far more than I ever have to be honest. A new bigger map sounds exciting too. All i'd say about the base @crispymorgan @phil bottle is that whilst I wasn't wedded to it either way, I would far more favour a random querky base than a standard square base that doesn't have any life to it. Personally, we've had so much on this one more than ever because of all the stupid and random things that have happened, which many things have because of how the base was built. I love that end phrase 🤣🤣 One thing to remember with this though is that its exciting and tense when we only have one base to defend as you know there's something at risk. If we had a separate place to fight Zombies, I don't think i'd be drawn in as much because, like i say, whats at risk other than yourself? You just spawn back in and pick up your backpack and away you go type of thing if you know what I mean? High risk, high reward is the way to go for an exciting and fun server imo.

What I think we all need to understand here alongside the price of the console is all the extras very quickly - i'm talking about additional storage, controllers, etc. Be good to understand if you can use independent storage or this time round you'll have to buy compatible official Xbox/PS5 gear. Thats when we realise the true cost of next gen me thinks.

Had to be those two teams, and on the opening day of the season didn't it? Tbf, the Premiership is a better place with Leeds in it...just providing they can just finish a boring 16th or 17th each year 😁

I think it was @J4MES OX4D that said it in a separate thread that it very much looked like Battefield Hardline and now seeing it more it feels like it is just that. Especially with a mix of large Ground War gamemodes, they've definitely been behind the scenes over the years taking their ideas from the Battlefield series. Whether that's good or not, i'm not sure. It looks more fast paced which will suit people like @Chookes @JBR-Kiwi and @tronic44 who like to get kills every 2 seconds otherwise they get bored 🤣

Mate, Hayley has been thinking about a coffee machine but more so the pod ones, but this one looks pretty fancy doesn't it! Do you reckon the extra effort with real beans and this machines is making a huge difference? What did you have before? Instant coffee @G_dub52 ?

35 minutes into the new season as its gutting to say something so negative so early... but the refereeing is already soooo bad. I really hope the soft falling over doesn't drag itself all over the Championship. Poor to see from Bournemouth.

I can't really add to this as much as all of you guys but with the introduction of Netflix its helped me rediscover Voltron. Anything remotely like Transformers or that reminds of them I naturally get drawn to (just the 80s cartoon, M.A.S.K)

This right here, is life in a nutshell. And we all thought Wall-E was just a cartoon movie...

What a Monday Night Football last night was! 6 of us turned up and we're all feeling quite positive about the night ahead. We started out needing 4 points from 4 games in our first season in Division 9 to win the league. No problem, right? How wrong were we! Pat McGroin @jordie1892 and Fellaini @G_dub52 both had sendings off in our first games whilst we continued to get absolutely battered and punished every time we went forward. Sometimes it felt harsh but I suppose this is FIFA and it doesn't care about our fragile feelings 😬 Constantly not getting breaks in front of the goal, although I think for the first 4 games we were just happy to make certain tackles and little passes as we are so easily pleased. New signings Sean @Glen11 and Mikey @moir17 were finally getting into their stride, all to no avail for this season though as we lost the final 4 games and just survived relegation. I think 4 games seem to be our warm-up for each session because after the season finished we went on an absolute stormer of results, playing some sultry and exquisite football along the way. We managed to finish the season as Champions of Division 9, winning 5 and only losing 2 with some huge scorelines as you can see below! So much laughs along the way, a phrase that Sean might regret he even said (we might still get it printed on a shirt, like George said!), Sebba @ChaosGladiator leading the frontline and eventually banging the goals in left, right and centre with the might Forlan (never gonna get tired of screaming his name now!), and some hilarious one-twos happening all over the shop - George playing one with our own crossbar and Mikey with an open goal using a opposition defender to do a quick one-two and somehow getting it back! I need to try and get all the snippets from the videos to try and put together, it would be a great montage - even I scored last night, and it was absolute bullet volley! Lets try and get another night going too, I think most enjoyed it. We mentioned Weds night although i'd be on late (around 9.30) but that doesn't stop you all from getting on. I'm going by the amount of people that are continuing to play CoD MW this far down the line near to the new CoD release and going by how many people have moaned this time round to how its usually been over the years when the same force is out as usual moaning like hell about another CoD, wanting something different (ironically when they get something different, they still moan but now because its doesnt feel like CoD). I do like Pick 10, much easier to understand and creates classes much easier so i'd welcome that. Dead Silence has only been the one perk that people missed in MW, although I think it makes sure people can't continually be campy bastards imo so I didn't have a problem with it being something you call upon for certain situations. Warzone is brilliant. It doesn't feel like another Battle Royale game and its only one gamemode out of the bunch it offers. I don't want Cold War to have a BR mode, like @J4MES OX4D says. They now have a solid BR F2P gamemode that lots of people are continuing to play. Invest and evolve that world whilst Treyarch can just do MP. I like Treyarch but most can say that their last performance out (BO4 & Blackout) was disappointing after a very successful Black Ops 3.
