I'm with you. I'm very aprehensive about it all but one promising element about the direction to stay with Destiny 2 and not make a Destiny 3 is that the current version of the game is/has been getting technical updates behind the scenes - which will allow for better ways of development on missions and other updates as each season moves along. They're taking a hit now by removing legacy existing content on old code so the game can have proper longevity on multi-platforms and re-integrate the best bits so we all have a better flowing and evolving world. However, I think its easy for gamers to miss these bits because most won't give a shit about how the game is created and developed, they just want the content as soon as possible and all of the time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Destiny to be able to update their game nearly as frequently as Epic does with Fortnite (their updates don't happen as frequent now as they initially did due to overworking staff ridiculously). Many people here won't notice any of this btw, because if you've had a break for a while, you kinda don't likely care about those bits that are leaving to go sit in the DCV for a bit - so should be a positive overall.

I actually thought the Definitive edition was the Trilogy version?! That looks like a good deal on the PS4 @techno , I'll add this to the list of ones to grab potentially for crimbo.

I just dug for Coal which got me my extra skill point to create the truck accessories and chassis to build one. Thought i'd chuck a Motorcycle in their because they are pretty cool and especially because a few people like to make solo trips to places. Make sure you check out the storage space on both - defnitely means you can do more and loot loads on your trips out and about.

Me's have one too 😄 I'm similar to Rich apart from maybe an odd weekend morning when the kids are sitting with us for family games. Mario Tennis Aces - Good but some annoying controls which make it not like the standard tennis game. Super Smash Bros - Super game. After I unlocked all the characters it got a little stale though. One to play with friends. Super Bomberman - We played this at @Diddums house I recall! Super harder than expected tbh! Another just to play with friends. MarioKart 8 - No more words. You know this is a must have on a Switch Zelda BOTW - Looks amazing and feels incredible to play. Just over time I felt like Chad @Riff Machine above because of silly stuff like breakable weapons. Shame. Diablo 3 - Thoroghly enjoyable game. Its just a port from the Playstation version you might've played so worth the money. Can play Offline too so super for holidays and Plane trips Just Dance 2019 - Great for the kids (and a good laugh for yourselves aswell). Careful though, its a game they just get you on a subscription as not many songs in base game 51 Worldwide Games - Good little game for you both. Even has basic fun games like Ludo in it Splatoon 2 - Half decent but annoyingly you can only play co-op if you have 2 switches. Didn't know that before I bought it for Dax I'll have to find my Switch friend code and also add it as a Profile field so people can show them if they want to.

There was also a small rumour that went off the radar back in May about Microsoft using their name to sell the new Xbox in Japan - therefore calling it the Sega Series X. Its got a better ring to it for sure! 😁

The CEO has come out to say they ain't finished yet and there is tons of speculation about who is next. As the good old internet does what they do best, there is loads of connections to Sega in recent weeks too. I've pulled some pics from the tinternet to help your thoughts. If its not Sega, then theres always a chance of Capcom or Konami. Definitely feels like its more Sega though. Thoughts?

Welcome to FG, Jamie 😄 I can see you already had the delightful greeting by @Diddums already! As @Shucker and @tronic44 have said prior to my post, this place is really unique and a one of a kind gaming family. We'd love to get involved and stick around, one extra thing of note though... ...if you know how it works, its always nice to say hi and get involved in places before you want us to watch your stuff. I'm sure they are fantastic btw, but there's people hear that watch videos, follow streamers and even buy games purely because they value the opinions of other FGers here and the type of person they are - all based on getting involved and that trust has been built. I think you'll find Shucker was kindly helping you, so a reply like that won't go very far to help build trust up after a glorious start that you had with Didds 🙂 Hopefully we can get to watch them some day soon. It was role reversal of fortunes on Monday Night Football for FGFC, whilst we had a biggest turn out of the season so far with 7 of us playing for most of the night. Usually we get off to a poor start for about 5 games which wasn't the case at all as we shot out of the blocks with goals. Big bad Baz, Barry Ferguson @Glen11 changed his player up to be a massive target man alongside Forlan and boy it turned into a masterstoke as his nimble quick feet and 3 star weak left foot were banging the goals in 🤣😎 The spin and volley goal was unreal. Winning the first game 5-3, secured promotion and unfortunately we just couldn't turn the final game into a win after leading 1-0 (eventually losing 2-1) in our last game in Division 8. We were all feeling confident going into Division 7, after the passing and goals were already flowing nicely. However we were brought down with a bump as the opponents got a little tougher and we just started leaking goals pretty easily. We tried a 3-5-2 to start but we got opened up too much and moved quickly to the back 4 we were used to. We had a few bad games in the middle of the session, especially one where we all pushed the keeper to try and pass the ball out a 34 times which meant for some hilarious scrambling around and defending. Still, some amazing goals scored by everyone. Some ripper shots from 4 yards out that slowly passed the keeper too 🤣 Fingers crossed for better results next time but it was still such a good laugh, especially getting 7 of us on the pitch. I thought last night's session and races were fantastic! Brands Hatch was the first race with @phil bottle @Greboth @Mikepjbell and myself - qualifying went better than the race for sure! The race started well with Mike and myself keeping Greebs at bay - or so we thought - as he was clearly waiting for us to make mistakes to power on through. Mike tried to make his tyres last longer than mine but we both found out the hard way we end up in the Gravel too much for our liking and with me pitting a few laps before him, his lap times just faded very quickly. I didn't manage the tyres and pits well at all so the usual response happened with Greebs 1st and Philly 2nd. When @JBR-Kiwi turned up though we decided to have another race but this time on Monza which was absolutely epic. What I really enjoyed was the 13 lap race and no restrictions on tyres so we all had to work out a strategy on what to do and also fill up petrol along the way. Kiwi was super quick at the start and Phil followed close behind him. I broke too late and hit make on Lap 2 which effectively meant me stopping to allow him past - losing around 10/12 seconds of time AND Greebs taking a place for free. With him on Medium tyres and the leaders on Super Soft there really was a big gap and we didn't know what would happen. Then it all started to unfold. Kiwi had a crash (2 in the end i believe), with Phil picking up huge time penalties for cuttting corners - 10 seconds in the end. Greebs picked Medium tyres again and was fighting Phil for the lead even though the penalty loomed over him. I decided to pit extremely late, started with Soft and went to Super Soft tyres with 3 laps to go which let me catch up Kiwi (his 2nd crash helped with that too). On the final straight Phil had to break at the finishing line to get rid of his penalty and I just could quite catch him. Shame as I was only a few seconds off him in the end, which was the result of a few badly taken corners. Mike had a struggle at the back after a few more crashes after regaining 4th early on. Still, a valiant effort after the first time being on the game for many months. GGs all, super racing properly and trying to learn all of this. As the November update comes ever closer, Bungie released the Europa Map and a page on Bungie.net with some extra info. The map of what Europa looks like has received positive feedback so far as most people believe it looks quite huge compared to other worlds in Destiny. Just seeing the map is starting to get me pumped again and the fact its a brand new planet is really exciting this time round. And the trailer they dropped builds on it too. VARIKS SEES MINES. YESSSSSSSSSSS? 😎 We've wondered when we'd see Variks next after he let out Uldren and the Barons in Forsaken, not sure if he'll be another vendor again or we've got to defeat him considering he clearly his on the bad side of us after being allies on the Reef in Destiny 1.

Yeah thats a great shout. They'll absolutely be seeing the key to making regular income moving forward is subscription based products.

I'd love to see more like this so at least the ATB way of playing can live on somehow. Things need to evolve and I understand that, its just a huge part of the history of FF I really can't see why they can't re-use something that has been so successful for them in their history.

I'm pretty sure it is for many games however the big kicker is can we still talk in chat parties together. If we can't I know many get frustrated with in-game party chat systems so I'd easily just switch my PS4 on to chat to everyone on that. Whether others do is a different story but we all know how even of late how more beneficial it is to have people around to chat to, even if you're not on the same game.

This right here @Plumbers Crack will tell you if it is value for money. And then this because of the Microsoft GamePass you can get on your PC. Ultimately, after years of Sony trampling all over Microsoft in the console wars with the PS4 and their exclusives, I think we've all been waiting for a big move from them. The talk behind the scenes a week ago was Bungie but that proved to be false and it was actually the other big company beginning with B.

I actually do hope that the next gen does make more people consider PC. I for one have recently enjoyed my time on my own PC with some different games and cost is always a barrier which may not be in coming years. All I'll say is that just because i'm getting a PS5 at launch (much love to you all btw ❤️)I won't be packing my PS4 away. I'll always be drawn to wherever you all are in the main first. All I hope is that they open up cross gen like Destiny 2 will so I can play on a PS5 with anyone on a PS4 and talk to them too. This place proves you don't need to have the latest software to have a good time 😎 I just love consoles and was always wanting a next gen console to see what they are like. I hope it'll feel like it did with the Xbox 360 for me.

Looks good as most FF trailers do. Is it just me or should we now be called FF games true JRPG? Its borderline button bashing when it comes to these games now which is a shame as they look fantastically made.

This is awesome @McNasty , such a great idea! Be good to see how you display them on your wall. I'm totally with @crispymorgan as I'd be Sega all the way. I think over here when I was growing up there was the GamesMaster Magazine that was pretty big at the time, even had a TV show! However, I also have some pretty sweet game info displays from the old Toys R Us that my cousin who was the Manager gave me. They've always be something i've wanted to get in a display like these, That might also be worthwhile searching for too! (i'll try and dig out some of them and share for you 🙂)

I haven't had chance of late to put up a bit of an update so its been ace reading the updates @Greboth and @tronic44. Its been nice to get on to the map and check it out. Definitely makes it different when the first two traders we've found are right in the centre of two large towns. I love the idea of having min camps/bases so we don't have to travel back and forth in the day as you lose so much time doing things like that. I've had some good nights so far like Greebs mentioned, with hordes (and I mean hordes!) of Zombies everywhere, even in the day. Having a base in a town certainly makes things a little interesting! Skills wise, I've continued to look at Advanced Engineering and Grease Monkey to enable us to get Bicycles and eventually some 4x4 trucks. It also gave us the chance to get a Workbench and we finally made a Chemistry Station 2 days ago once Rich found a Beaker. I'm going to keep focusing on that but also some bartering skills. I'd suggest someone looks at doing the same as the Quests and Traders can give HUGE loot gains, especially with books. Definitely need to think about a few things, not in any order: A huge main base for everyone Mini bases for each town/large section we find What types of things we need for bases What books people want/need to write What other skills could be really helpful for someone to have I definitely feel this time round this server map is for keeps for a long time. Its fecking huge and lots to explore and also learn too. We've all talked about new things that we might know of but never gave it a try so we really should start doing that. It'll help each other then as we learn new fancy things for all of the bases! Maybe a big party up night where we can all meet up and get a good start on a main base perhaps?

We'll have to check your friends list Pat, as you've been away for so long! I wouldn't read much into it as not many got chance to play it (I didn't either). There's actually quite a few playing MW still and I think that will continue. The impressions above make me still think that MW is likely to be one that could stay around for a little while longer if there hasn't been much progress in this CoD.

It definitely feels more like training matches cos the pressure is off from having no fans around.

Is this the best out of the lot for you, Chad? Let us know how it goes as interested to know if its worth a stab for this SP game with Christmas lists coming ever closer. Clearly everyone above says its worth it - if remade correctly.
