  2. You can download and play Halo Infinite multiplayer Season 1 for free right now on Steam and Xbox. Although it's in beta still, I think it's available right through until its official release next month along with the campaign. There is currently some issues downloading on Xbox but the Steam version can be downloaded and played right now! Enjoy! More info Halo Infinite - Welcome to the Halo Infinite MP Beta - Steam News STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM On behalf of the entire Halo Infinite team, and in celebration of Halo’s 20th anniversary, I am very happy to announce that your Spartan journey begins… today! Sincerest thanks to the entire Halo community...
  3. Word seems to be coming out that the games are basically mobile ports with the exception of GTA 3 which looks better than the original PS2 version but WORSE than Liberty City Stories on the PSP handheld😂 Also seems they used an AI to generate the text which explains all the horrendous spelling errors. Be interested to see how the did things like pictures and character models. The most telling thing about this is how lazy they are - they didn't do anything by hand and it's no more than a mobile port-rip. The amount of high quality mods that died for these games is tragic and Rockstar probably could've hired gamers to recreate these instead of some shitty mobile developer to do a quick cash grab. I'm am over the moon I didn't buy into this trash. Now I have to think about what to do with BF2042...
  4. Demon Souls was my first PS5 game and it is technically impressive although the combat lacks punch and I didn't like the gold/green hue that it sometimes used outside of the brick grey. Definitely worth trying though as it's a spectacularly smooth experience compared to other Souls games. I gave up waiting for a Bloodborne upgrade and just played it on my PS5 and although the framerate is nasty, it wasn't quite as dippy as playing it on PS4. Those minute sub-30 drops gave me some nauseating headaches but in the 25 hours I played it on PS5, it seemed marginally more bearable. Elden Ring is definitely a spiritual successor to Dark Souls 3 with some nice DS2 mechanics coming back plus with the game going for a BOTW landscape approach, it could work out really well. I was a bit iffy about it being open world as opposed to something semi-linear but it looks like they've done it just right.
  5. EA have a fuckload of shills which don't help - JackFrags, Westie and the usual posse skirting over any critical problems and almost laughing it off. There are stacks of fanboy apologists to who are now playing the 'every other Battelfield game has been broken at launch so what did you expect' card. So many of these content creators vids/streams are sponsored by EA or they are part of that nauseating Game Changer program. It's a sad state of affairs that people's standards and expectations have sunk so low in recent years and this ship now, patch later attitude along with live service bailout concept has bolstered this scandalous approach. There's even reviews literally stating 'apart from the dire lack of content, critical technical bugs and its clearly unfinished state, 2042 remains a remarkable game 8/10'🤣 Soon games will be sold as NFT's and people still still say they have great gameplay. I'm really disappointed about this because Vanguard was always a no and with very little games elsewhere, I was relying on this to be half decent but I don't think it's even that.
  6. This did not age well Take-Two Boss On Remasters: "We Don't Just Port Titles Over" - GameSpot WWW.GAMESPOT.COM Strauss Zelnick believes there is reason why remasters from his company may perform better than the competition. This also did not age well https://screenrant.com/cyberpunk-2077-take-two-criticized-unpolished-bugs-glitches/ The Rockstar Social Club was down for the entire first day along with all their games including GTA 4 and Red Dead 2, and then the GTA Trilogy remained unplayable for two days after that because the developers left files in the game which could've impacted its legal rating due to the x-rated nature. The files have now been removed and the game is playable once more plus the RSC services are normal. Absolute shit show though and refunds should have been given across the board.
  7. They spelled 'Welcome' wrong in the very first cutscene of Vice City Now this is a game that is worthy of the Definitive Edition name
  8. Burger Shot has pictures of nachos and tacos pulled from Google in the Definitive Edition. The pizza counter has pictures of hotdogs🤣 Compare that to the original which also has reflective floors...
  9. Promising ARPG MMO releasing early next year. Well worth keeping an eye on
  10. This is an excellent video - some very narrow-minded and ignorant streamers got toasted😁
  11. Good overview
  12. Apparently along with no live scoreboard, there is also no combat record or stat tracking. Apart from your player level, there is nothing in place which shows your lifetime kills, weapon and match stats. Doesn't seem to be an API for 3rd party sites that can track this outside of the game either. This could be one of the most staggeringly threadbare experiences in existence.
  13. Hovercrafts can travel sideways up buildings
  14. If there is no dedicated server support then that will be a travesty however with such little content in the main portion and scope for customisation, it would probably be a waste of time anyway. The server browser in BF4 was epic with on high-ticket Metro or Locker matches. There likely just isn't enough flexibility to offer with 2 modes, 20 weapons and just 7 maps in 2042. There are too many Portal servers as it is already and 99% of them are just for XP boosting against bots rather than creative content. It's causing the main server to crash even with a limited population. If this doesn't get plugged by release, it'll be embarrassing. The fact it's allowed either by intent or as an oversight already leaves a giant stain on the game.
  15. I can see this game being 50% off in two weeks. No matter how disappointing or broken Battlefield turns out and with Halo Infinite MP releasing for free next month, things really aren't boding well for COD even in the short term. If WW2 Warzone doesn't resonate with people then it will be a disaster and put the franchise in a very difficult place until the new Modern Warfare arrives. This is what happens when developers have 15 months to make a game with limited resources. Treyarch once again half-assing the zombies making it look even worse. The fact Cold War is so loathed and now with Verdansk soon to be out of the window, people don't have much to fall back on either. This game probably shouldn't have happened and it could prove more costly to the franchise than what it would have if they'd simply skipped a year.
  16. 'Body Kits Fitten' Also the rain seems to be a screen filter and not a dynamic environmental effect
  17. Can't believe it doesn't have a proper scoreboard Battlefield 2042 players are demanding a traditional scoreboard | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Some want to compare their K/D ratios against all 128 players.
  18. Rockstar Social Club has been down for around 24 hours so PC players have been unable to play the game. Absolute shitty DRM and I wouldn't dream of getting the game unless it was purely ran through Steam. Hopefully when Rockstar have stopped counting the cash, they'll deal with it. Terrible advertisement for the RSC though and it's no wonder people don't trust non-established clients like this shit.
  19. But why didn't they instead focus on producing more content for the main game rather than skinning old assets and remaking old maps? Waste of internal resources. Battlefield 4 alone had over 80 primary weapons available at launch. 20 is absolutely dire. Portal will eventually fizzle out with no progression and then they'll be relying on the main modes for longevity but they ain't gonna get that with such little content.
  20. I'm having huge doubts about whether I should get this game. It just doesn't look very refined and the amount of content is disgraceful really. It'll probably be a case of 3 years down the line the game will be fairly polished and we'll get the quantity content and quality we should've got day one. It'll likely be yet another occasion where DICE and EA have failed to capitalise on Call of Duty's woes. If I do get the game, it will primarily be due to a lack of other titles this holiday season. I could see myself definitely putting in some hours of BF2042 but I'm not even sure if it'll keep me interested up to and beyond Christmas - something that every COD game since 2013 has failed to do. It's just laughable that there is more content in Portal than the main game. For all its technical problems, Battlefield 4 just nailed so much and I don't think it was fully appreciated until years down the line. The amount of guns, high quality maps and core gameplay were all outstanding. No matter what 2042 does, I can already tell they wont even come close to that.
  21. General consensus seems to be:- All-out warfare: Standard Battlefield-type modes with Conquest and Breakthrough although the latter is perhaps a bit messy with too many players chasing too few objective points. Sadly there is only 22 weapons available and 7 maps. Portal: Very promising portion of the game that brings back old content such as maps, guns and vehicles which can be customised into matches. Aside from a few reskins, it looks great. Shame it's tied just to priviate/non-ranked matches. Peace from specialists too! Also there will likely be more than twice as many guns in this mode than the actual bloody main game. Hazard Zone: Complete waste of time and utterly boring apparently. Similar to MW2019's spec ops missions where you land on a huge maps, complete few generic tasks and survive waves to enemy spam. Game still suffers from bugs but key UI issues have been addressed. Performance is still a bit iffy on higher-end devices and with no console early access, that may also ring alarm bells.
  22. Price will be dropped from $60 to $40 which is still $25 too much IMO.
