  1. This video is definitely authentic🤣
  2. Looks like Solskjaer intends to stay so the match next week against equally woeful Spurs will be very interesting. Nuno is probably on more thin ice than realised but I can't see Spurs offing another manager. Man Utd do have some great players but the squad composition is a total mess with so many attack-minded players, no stable midfield and a dreadful defence. It's one of the most unbalanced teams you will ever see and it was evident more than ever yesterday that it will not work against any organised outfit. They can powerhouse there way through weaker teams but United will struggle against even average sides with their current setup. There doesn't seem to be any real organisation or individual instructions and this will be the ultimate downfall of Ole and the gulf between him and the other top managers in the league is just insane. Any confidence restored in Maguire and Shaw after the summer is long gone too.
  3. This releases in 5 days Not sure if I'll be getting it yet though
  4. Full time Man Utd 0-5 Liverpool 6 bookings, 1 red card, disallowed goal The only blessing is that being 5-0 down after 50 and playing 30 minutes with 10 men, they were lucky it wasn't 0-7. 10 years and a day to the day United lost 6-1 at home to City too! That's Ole done for surely - the squad they have should be pushing for the title and it looked like they'd do that after hammering Leeds at the start. I think they've only netted 2pts out of 15 or something crazy!
  5. Here's an interesting video outlining some improvements made since the beta (or a version that proceeds the beta we played) - certainly some key UI changes along with some much-needed additions. Whilst not perfect and some other things required, it is certainly an important step I still think the UI does look a bit busy but some elements do look a lot tidier especially out of their placeholder aesthetic. I think the map control alerts still need to be integrated into the mini map portion of the screen though. There's still much work to be done and probably a lot has been since the beta version we played but it's nice to see the changes rather than going in completely blind until release.
  6. Police investigating Crystal Palace fans for telling the truth😂 Newcastle United takeover: Crystal Palace fans' banner protesting Saudi-led consortium's Tyneside takeover investigated by police NEWS.SKY.COM There has been widespread condemnation after the controversial go-ahead was given for a Saudi-led consortium to take control of the Magpies in a £300m deal, despite the regime's human rights record.
  7. They were thinking 'Cool of Doody always does better than our games so lets copy them'😇
  8. One of the specialists has a wallhack ability....
  9. I've just checked the Steam Store and it's £34.99 for the standard, £69.99 for the Deluxe and £87.99 for the 30th anniversary. It's also pretty disgusting to see how many threads, Tweets and comments there are in circulation about the confusion surrounding what's available and what isn't in each respective version. I'm surprised Bungie haven't contacted EA to see if they will do one of those famous content tick box charts🤣 It's also pretty tasteless that they are capitalising on the studio's name to charge £18 more for a version representing their 30th anniversary when I don't think anyone at the studio is an OG and 90% of the personnel currently probably didn't even work on Halo 3. People will definitely get their money's worth but the sheer convolution and usage of tiresome industry terms just make Bungie look absolutely dreadful. They may have escaped Activision but they essentially taken their hideous business practices off them in the process. I don't know why they just can't flog the expansion for £35 and then the season pass for the same which keeps things simple. They've probably lost more money pissing people off no end.
  10. I saw a video online many years ago which showed a blank being fired into a block of ice and it did more damage from close range than a real bullet did in the same test. Really surprised me! I can only assume it was shrapnel or the bullet projectile went through the poor lady into the director - doesn't seem like he was badly injured but it will be very interesting to see how this whole thing happened. It's crazy to think that will all these advances in technology from CGI to on-set equipment, they are still relying on real guns and blanks for the effects. Surely dummy guns could be produced with some blast effects that could have extra audio and visual post-processing in editing!? I do love the authenticity of the guns in action movies but it's not worth it if safety is compromised and there being a chance of injury or worse.
  11. Now the patch has been delayed I have a feeling this is a tactical move because if they released the patch as planned a couple of weeks before the paid portion launched and it didn't improve things then it would severely hit sales and probably kill the game off for the whole season. Now they'll probably do the paid content and patch around the same time but if they find themselves releasing the update after the paid portion is released then it will be another humiliating disaster.
  12. November 11th it is!

  15. Deluxe Editions are pure ass and I wish Bungie would keep it simple instead of using tiresome and overused terminologies to flog their convoluted content model. Sell the main expansion, sell the battle pass and then flog the extra shite separately so there is no confusion or nasty surprises when someone finds out they can't play a portion of it because they didn't buy the Super Deluxe Expansion Year X Seasonal Deluxe Edition when all they bought was the Deluxe Edition Expansion Season Pass. If they are alienating longstanding players then god help newcomers trying to get their heads around what is available and what isn't. All these years later and Bungie still haven't got an ideal publication framework in place.

  17. Some interesting developments today following on from just what I was saying just last night FIFA says it never liked EA anyway, will see other publishers now | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Football's governing body is scrambling to decide what its future in games looks like.
  18. You can free jump in this one! Seems a very early build but very Dark Souls 3-like which is great!
  19. I'm really hoping this situation will put other developers on notice and encourage them to move into the genre - EA and Konami have had it so easy for nearly two decades now and the licencing aspect has really alienated any prospective developers that they just wouldn't dare risk it let alone being able to afford it. With EFootball being absolute ass and EA getting pounded by FIFA in the ass for money then it could open some doors for others. UFL is one and maybe we'll see more. Also the current situation may force EA to rethink their potential F2P model especially if FIFA wants a billion every 4 years for the privilege and a slice of every microtransation made. Doesn't sound like they could afford to make the game go free and if they did, they'd need to generate $250m minimum on a F2P game and their MTX's could be shredded between FIFA, the digital store fronts and taxes.
  20. Anyone familiar with this developer and their range of Steam games? These are primarily logic-based titles revolving around coding and complex input/output-based puzzles. I'm sure a few have heard of SpaceChem which was one of their games from 10 years ago but since then they have developed a nice little range of popular and deeply rewarding titles. My personal favourite and the most accessible title is Opus Magnum which is a chemistry-themed title where you build compounds through placed inputs using machines. There is also the much harder but very interesting Shenzhen I/O - an assembly language themed game where you code circuits and program devices One of their newer titles is EXAPUNKS which is an open-ended hacking game where you program registers and nodes And SpaceChem which was one of their earlier works Plus there's other titles like TIS-100, MOLEK-SYNTEZ and the absolutely fantastic Infinifactory which is a first person 3D puzzle game. The other great thing about these games is being able to optimise your solution - for example, you may have completed the set task but with tweaking, you may be able to reduce the amount of cycles, parts needed or lines of code. These games each come with a detailed manual which has to be read but they are amazing to learn and satisfying to play. Definitely worth a look if you're interesting in something different.
  21. Embarrassing really - if they didn't have 3 years allegendly invested in this, it probably would've been cancelled on the quiet. Ghost Recon Frontline beta test delayed one day before it was set to start | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Ubisoft didn't say why testing has been pushed back, but strong negative reaction to the game could be a reason.
  22. Another absolute shitshow from Activision Blizzard
