  1. This is what I've had to put up with on PC from day uno! I've had about 2 reasonable days but the rest have just been so bad that we've just accepted it now...
  2. Why is it IW fix one problem then cause other issues with things that were perfect? It's like me decorating my living room and having it look nice and then suddenly the roof of my house blows away. I just don't geddit with this franchise...

  4. The only issues I have with the game after two weeks remains the lag problems on PC and the spawns in Cranked and Kill Confirmed. I think this is the best CoD game since the likes of Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops but the old lag nonsense is becoming increasingly tiresome and the spawn issues is a bit of a surprise as I felt the system was excellent in Black Ops 2.

  6. All the Multiplayer data is stored on the IW servers apart from any DLC such as the map packs. The campaign is quite a beefy install for such a short venture
  7. I'd say the smaller maps on modes like Cranked and KC is the issue and probably more to the point, me playing on PC. Any 50/50 situation no matter what gun I have I always lose as they are pretty much a OHK from close range. They are pretty useless from distance as expected but the people equipping them really know how to use them and play the more dirtiest games in terms of camping and jump-shotting. I'd be pretty useless with a Shotgun as I don't like that style of play for the modes I opt for such as Domination, Cranked and Kill Confirmed but many players just milk it with the speed perks and the general noob way they play. From my experience on consoles; shotguns were less used in Black Ops when they went primary when compared to MW2 and in Black Ops 2 I found them to be pretty well-balanced because the maps were fairly tidy and open but from PC perspective and considering I play primarily Cranked which tends to be on small to medium maps; their sheer power with the MK setup and the way the maps can be played in the mode; I can see why some would opt to use them and play the most tedious and infuriating styles.

  9. I'm on PC and Shotguns are so rife it's borderline unbearable at times. Even on the larger maps, players will opt for these and hide around corners waiting to pounce. They seem so overpowered that it's nigh-impossible to stop them in any 50-50 situation and for the rest of the time you're treading on eggshells as to where the next shottie user is going to pop out from. Most seem to be using marathon and lightweight perks with SOH so they are moving round swiftly and not needing to catch a breath. On Strikezone, they dominate and you don't even need to be comfortable with the weapon type to have a decent game. I think Shotguns are a good choice but the ones in Ghosts just seem too damn powerful to play against on many maps against players who are very skilled at using them. I don't know how popular they are on the consoles but I imagine they are a good weapon of choice for many players on different modes and maps. They are just very tough to play against on PC.
  10. I hate these bloody things! Even in Cranked I casually dart over one and still get blown up yet if I equip the lethal; I can't get a kill for love nor money. Am I missing something or is there some cunning way to avoid them once they arm? I've tried jumping and sprinting over them but I always end up getting exploded in typical fashion. They are an absolute pain in the arse if even a couple of the opposition roll with them especially on tighter maps like Freight, Strikezone and Tremor particularly in the camping hotspots. Do they arm based on radius or if you step on one direct? Is there a perk that can counter also? Thanks!

  13. Call of Duty Ghosts probably isn't the best example of a next gen game - even on PC, it looks worse than BFBC2. The PS4 version is a good step-up from the old gen and the new consoles are way ahead of what is currently possible on these systems. You look back at how ropey some of the early PS3 games were and look where it finished with GTA V; we didn't even think that game was possible on the old systems. The future is almighty bright for gaming and the likes of The Division will propel more and more higher-end quality games in the future on a massive scale. The likes of Ghosts and BF4 are very much attached to the old gen but in a few years time; the step up will be considerably more noticeable and games will be on another level.
  14. Kills from Killstreaks do not count if you're using the Assault or Support packages. Perhaps that maybe?
  15. Basically 3x Predator Missles! Started rolling with these today and they are absolutely great fun to use. You don't have much time to pick your targets but if you can hit three; it's an easy triple kill. Perhaps a bit trickier on larger maps but on modes like Cranked; it's a necessity.

Although Free Fall is an alleged 'preorder' bonus; apparently every copy of Ghosts contains it, even the PC digital copies post-release, so technically; everyone should have it even if they didn't preorder the game so why IW are restricting it to a Moshpit instead of putting it in the main playlists is beyond me!

  23. I think Whiteout is amazing now! It's brilliant for SnR and Kill Confirmed. It's probably the best looking Call of Duty map with it's amazing snowy glow. Has anyone had Free Fall on the rotation yet? I haven't seen it once in the public playlist although I am playing Cranked and KC mostly

  25. You can do it on any map I think but Strikezone is the only one that actually changes appearance when the KEM is activated.
