Yeah, old habits of the franchise that still exist annoy me. For Instance Treyarch>good games, shit connection - Infinity Ward>shit games, good connection. A happy medium off the bat would be a massive plus for me getting back into it.

I love the organtisation of this site and the presentation. It looks simple but there is much depth and tidiness to the threads. I've seen some forums which remind me of phone switchboards where you have to go through 100 things to find what you want. FG is brilliant and I am chuffed to be a member on here It's quietened down on the DayZ subforum for instance but it may very well pick up again as the game is ongoing. GTA V is probably the one that could be replaced for something else in the future but as long as we don't have a subforum for every game and just have a small amount for the current and popular ones; I think it works very well as it is.

Just out of interest; how is everyone pumped for the new COD? I'm just not feeling the buzz tbh. A few years ago I'd probably have a permanent erection this time of the year constantly refreshing google just for any leaks or new info about anything but with the impending release imminent; I could not give a monkeys toss in all honesty. I'm partly interested to see what SHG can do but I dunno if Ghosts has put me off the franchise or if I'm just tired of it as a whole. Either way; I hope it shapes up well and I can get back into the series with a quality game.

I usually take a break from MP games now and again largely to do with the community and the general repetitiveness that comes with the likes of BF4 and COD. I've put in quite a lot of time on BF4 of late and had a real blast but I've kinda played it to death lately and a few outstanding issues plus some dickhead admins has put me off for the time being. I lost the buzz for COD Ghosts before Xmas and despite trying to get back into it; the community has died a death on PC and I didn't have a great experience on the game either. Titanfall was epic at first and despite putting in a fair few hours this week; it's lost that special feel and I've pretty much seen all there is to see. I'll play it now and again but I don't think I could have a long session on there like I used to on the early Call of Duty games. Decent community but somewhat lacking depth. I have lots of games in my Steam Library untouched and plenty of titles that I want to get back into. I'm hoping to finally start Diablo III next week and go through System Shock 2 too at some point. Can't wait to pick DayZ back up also; it may have a PVP aspect but you can meet some decent people on there which is brilliant this this day and age of douchbaggery online. I think playing many FPS games has taken its toll and idiots within the gaming community who ruin experiences in MP games don't help either. I used to play COD for long periods and sometimes too much to the point I'd be raging and not enjoying it but still continued to play and get more pissed off. Games are meant to be fun and I've learned now more than ever that if you're not having an enjoyable experience on a game; have a break from it and enjoy something else.

The pendulum is swinging once again and it will go to the wire. Liverpool at Palace next, Chelsea home to Norwich and City away at Everton. I still think Liverpool can do it as City may slip up away from home but they need a response and can't let their heads drop. Chelsea's chances are heightened but I think it's firmly between City and Pool.

Nice! I'm definitely up for this years event so we'll have to sort summat out with Dave and co.

Ps anyone that pre-orders the game gets beta access guaranteed. That's my errand for tomorrow then! I am not sure of what pre-order bonuses are available apart from beta access but Gamestop is doing this: Whatever this is

I definitely need to go to Eurogamer this year. Has anyone on here been before? I think we should club together a few people and pop on down there. I think it's usually hosted somewhere in London and tickets are easy to come by and free/cheap. E3 is the big one though and I this year should be quality!

Still not sure about the Chelsea line up but we know Cech, Terry, Ramires are out. Mourinho also traveled separately to Anfield because he is 'unwell'. Total bullshit; he's bricking it or it's some stupid mind games! Who ever loses out of Sunderland v Cardiff is down and if it's a draw; they both may go...

Not sure but the Game of Thrones that will be showcased is from Telltale Games who made The Walking Dead. They are also showing off Tales From Borderlands too. They've come along way in the last year so both these games are worth keeping an eye on too. One of the few developers who don't produce cheap cash-in games for easy money!

Cannot wait for E3 this year! Last year was amazing with the new consoles but this one will be showcasing many up and coming games that we didn't see last time around. I've done a bit of research on what to expect and whilst there isn't much confirmed as of yet; there is plenty to look forward to. Confirmed games on show: Alien Isolation Call of Duty Destiny Dragon Age Inquisition Legend of Zelda (Wii U) Sim City 4 Uncharted 4 Expected to be there but not yet confirmed: Assassins Creed Unity Batman Arkham Knight Civilization Beyond Earth The Evil Within Evolve Far Cry 4 Game of Thrones Gears of War 4 Halo 5 Mass Effect 4 Mirrors Edge 2 The Order 1886 The Sims 4 Star Wars Battlefront The Division Tales From Boderlands The Witcher 3 Ubisoft have stole the show last couple of years with Watch Dogs and The Division and I'm hoping to see more of the latter at the show. 1 trailer and a few screenshots is all that's been seen since last summer but I really hope we get some new footage of the Division once again. Far Cry 4 is a strong candidate to appear and I can't wait to see this in its next gen glory. Looks like the Witcher 3 has been delayed considerably but it is expected to make an appearance so any disillusioned fans can sleep easy. I also can't wait to see if Battlefront will be there with Frostbite 3 under its belt. Seeing Naughty Dog there with U4 as one of the first games to be confirmed will just strengthen the PS4's early dominance but no doubt the Xbox gamers will be pleased to see GOW4 and Halo 5 on the horizon. Hope Mass Effect 4 makes an appearance also but it's too quiet in the Bioware camp as of yet. Could be a big year for the ever-growing Telltale Games too. Lots more to be confirmed and I expect a few big surprises too! Roll on June 10th is all I can say

I read that in Destiny, just 1 location in the game is the size of the entire Halo Reach game! This game is gonna be huge!! As a once loyal 360 gamer; I must have been one of the few that thought Halo was a bit overrated. I found the first couple unique and Halo 3 was a brilliant multiplayer experience but Reach and 4 were very linear and dull. I think Microsoft held Bungie back along with the console itself but now they are more independent and working with much improved hardware; they can really go to town on Destiny and showcase their brilliant development skills without being tied to stupid time scales and dated systems. The only disappointment is this isn't on PC which is annoying but I look forward to getting this on PS4.

Rubberbanding hasn't been too rife on PC but is worse on the Naval Strike severs. They need to address the bullet detection, invisible barriers, dying behind cover and the new and infamous death shield glitch which since it has been discovered; is noticeable on a ridiculous level particularly on the likes of Metro and Locker.
