  1. £1.19 on Steam for the DLC add-on Better than Gran Turismo
  2. Love the traffic light hacking and crashes
  3. The Motion Picture Association of America has deemed this picture of Sin City 2 'too sexy' Of course it is! It's Eva Green for fuck sake. MPAA wankers!
  4. I'm still waiting for the Miley Cyrus voiceover DLC. It's gonna happen trust me. If COD has sunk this low; it can't get much lower.
  5. Rickie Lambert going to Liverpool for £4m then! Didn't see that one coming.
  6. This may sound ridicilous but on the 'Cars on Demand' app; I usually go for vehicles that are reliable in getting from A to B Some of the sports cars are just frustratingly hard to control and the handling is vastly different. If this was GTA; I'd take the fastest most badass car but in Watch Dogs; I am more in tune with the environment and doing things the right way. I think I've only jacked one car so far and I'm trying not to mow anyone down on the pavements by being a safe and considerate driver Watch Dogs doesn't seem to be image based and being a badass criminal. Aiden can do anything but he has to be under the radar and in the shadows. Driving around in a shitty family car just keeps him normal in the society of Chicago and I think the devs wanted the gamer just to be blending in with the city rather than going GTA gung-ho or Saints Row where you make a name for yourself on the streets. Watch Dogs is all about the underworld and being hidden in a intrusive world. Crap cars FTW!
  7. So whoever completes the field order gets a Y-8 gunship which echoes the AC130!? Fuck me IW. It was bad enough having air support like that stacking in MW2 let alone someone getting it in the first 20 seconds of the match. The matches could be over and people rage quitting right off the bat. IW are absolutely clueless. This map should be free also. I know they can't design maps for shit and have had to borrow old ones from the real IW but this pack represents shite value for money for the few left that play this game.
  8. Trailer up and Favela is there and has been re-imagined as 'Favela'
  9. Free weekend on Payday 2 or £7.66 for a full permanent purchase.
  10. The first time I hopped on to a motorbike after trying numerous cars, I didn't realise the handling was more loose and slick so I took a corner far too early and ended up mowing down some poor old woman getting cash from an ATM
  11. The driving certainly ain't bad on some cars. I can't get over the fact that even if you accelerate at about 6mph from a standstill; the screen judders as if you put your foot down going 0-60 in 4 seconds! It's a bit of a lame effect/exaggeration. On one mission I spent about 15 mins trying to evade the cops, I didn't have the heli disruption skill at that time but I managed to reach some port where I gave up and just jumped in a boat which was open from the roof. I expected to be shot to shit by the chopper above who tailed me all the way but as soon as a set sail at about 5 knots; the helicopter miraculously lost track of me I'm slowly warming to this game. I've accepted the driving as a bit iffy but so much of this game makes up for it. The story is quite intriguing, the city is big and interesting and the mini games seem a neat little addition. Still not sure how much longevity this game will hold on completion but I still have stacks to sift though. Probably the best game on PS4 so far.
  12. I've blitzed through Act 1 which consisted of 10 or so reasonable missions. I pretty much ignored all the side missions and games but may take my time going through Act 2. The problem seems along with many other sandbox titles of the kind; depth seems to be lacking aside from the story. Just like GTA V, I fear when I finish the game; they'll be nothing left worth doing. Haven't tried the MP aspect yet but that doesn't look like it holds much longevity. I estimate that the campaign will probably take around 40 hours, so there's still lots to enjoy hopefully but from what I've heard from others; it's all a bit samey in the long run.
  13. As Tommy mentioned in the shoutbox; Battlefield 3 is free on Origin until June 3rd!! I think this includes all the DLC too.
  14. According to Charlieintel; the map ISN'T a remake of Favela. I don't mind the franchise bringing back old maps if they are good maps and if they are re-imagined in a good state like Firing Range and Summit but the maps in Ghosts from IW including the remake of Scrapyard just lacked character and had a horrible colour palate. It's not like it's the old maps designed by the current IW either - it's like they're scrapping for leftovers of the past when their side of the COD franchise was good. It's all a bit desperate for me. If they designed maps on par with Bayview in each pack; they might be able to make up for the core maps in design and presentation.
  15. unfortunately not but Delia in my eyes is a complete dick so the two go hand in hand in the picture! Share among Ipswich fans accordingly if you please
  16. Apparently the leaked video is from a 6 month old build and isn't any way reflective of the final product. It's just a mock/concept trailer with pre-alpha gameplay. Be good to see some top quality footage of the game in its Hardline format at E3 assuming it doesn't all get leaked before
  17. I would have loved this... ...25 years ago It's a fantastic picture though and I wish I had those artistic skills. I can barely write these days
  18. You will either learn to forgive the driving and just get used of it or never play the game again. I'm plodding along and have just accepted it. The game makes up for it in many other areas thankfully.
  19. After the quite frankly terrible Devastation map pack; I am completely and utterly done with Ghosts. I may hop on Counterstrike GO and download one of the 20,000 free maps which will probably be better than this stinking turd of garbage
  20. I think this is a mistake integrating this type of game into the Battlefield series. It doesn't represent the name or what the series is about. I understand the publicity and the Battlefield trademark is an instant seller and will drum up interest and intrigue much quicker than just branding the game as a Frostbite 3 title but I don't want Battlefield to be derailed by any spin-offs. Hardline looks decent it seems but I can't see this having the scope or scale of your standard Battlefield title. The trailer didn't really explain how large the player counts were and how the modes truly operate minus the overall premise. I believe EA acquired Police Warfare (a kickstarter project 2 years ago) overturned it to Visceral and now have branded it Battlefield to gain the traffic.
  21. There is quite a bit of driving but many missions are foot based on the ground. So far I've had a few car chases which have been extremely sloppy and frustrating. Exploring on foot and taking the train is pretty good to get away from the bad car physics though and there is lots of activity to do from the ground in the vibrant city. The car collisions are more of an issue than the actual handling I've found. I did what Brede done and raised the bridge when it was loaded with cars and they came plummeting down and caused a huge vertical pile up which was quite funny. I also raised the bollards when a limo was over them and it popped up in the air which was also amusing. The crashes you can cause when fucking with the traffic lights are mental but for some reason the collisions when you're driving are just too bouncy and unnatural. I'm quite liking some of the missions so far though and they make up for a few of the negatives. Another mild irritation reminds me of Far Cry 3 - you have to hack the CTOS towers in certain areas so you can profile people and hack the environment. This is just as tedious as the radio towers in FC3 where you did it to reveal the map. Some of the CTOS towers can be tricky at times but it just feels a bit bland. The hacking where you have to channel the signals to unlock nodes is actually a bloody good feature and makes up for the one-button hack system that you get when targeting phones and environmental features.
  22. I believe it's on the wall from an alternative angle. I have a picture of the one she has
  23. Norwich fucking City of course!
