  1. Agree. The gulf is absolutely insane now. Burnley have the best defence in EFL history yet they will likely ship a load next season and look very ordinary. The rest of the team will be fairly unknown but I just can't see them competing like they did for several years. Leeds have had a great campaign particularly at home but they will need to replace both their keepers along with Bamford and Piroe and the likes of Bogle already have 50 PL appearances with 36 of them being defeats whilst shipping 3 goals a game. Rodon does not have enough experience and I can't see Joseph, Ampadu or Firpo performing consistently at that level. Solomon is a great signing and was a great replacement for Summerville but if you want to kick on in the Prem, you certainly have to make some sweeping changes as players some that are too good for the EFL are nowhere near PL standard. Summerville himself was outstanding for Leeds last season but has been utter dogshit for West Ham. Daniel Farke is also expected to be sacked which kinda outlines the ruthless approach needed to remain in the Prem. He could win the title and be gone the next day it is that crazy. In terms of the playoff contending teams, they are miles off even Leeds and Burnley. Sunderland are big but they just don't have the finances to build a sustainable team capable of maintaining a place in the Prem. Some exciting players in Bellingham, Rigg and Mayenda but the rest are rooted in ELF standard forever. Roberts, O'Nien and Mepham are prime examples and even Isidor has struggled immensely for months now. We all know what Sheff Utd are like up there, plus Coventry and Bristol City may provide a refreshing change, it may be short lived once the glitz and glamour is over like Ipswich discovered.
  2. Ange plays needlessly high-risk football as if every game he's managing Celtic playing St Mirren. Teams just absorb pressure and then pounce on the gaping holes left behind. The strikeforce isn't clinical enough to and the defence is too shambolic to play such a high line all the time. I wanted Ange gone a while ago and aside from fortunate progress in the Europa, Spurs are in even worse shape that before. Any other season and this would be a relegation battle which is even worse than 20+ years ago. It would be ironic if he wins something as one of the worst managers but there is no way he can remain even with Champions League next year.
  3. Definitely not paying £50 so I will keep my eyes on the key sites for when distribution kicks in. Looks pretty decent but I'll wait to see what the reviews say. A nice surprise regardless
  4. Cardiff away yesterday. Crap performance, epic equaliser, decent result overall and a solid 3,095 turnout. Train journey back was pure hell though!
  5. Game probably wont come out until 2026🤣
  6. Mirror's Edge - mad that this is a 2008 game!
  7. Gotta feel sorry for the Skyblivion devs!
  8. The Oblivion remaster is real: Doubters in shambles as developer Virtuos accidentally leaves the door open to trailer screenshots and assets | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM I have seen the gates of Oblivion, beyond which no waking eye may see.
  9. The Oddworld collection is 98% off on Fanatical for just £1 Oddworld Complete Collection | Steam Game Bundle | Fanatical WWW.FANATICAL.COM Embark on an epic journey through the Oddworld universe with the Oddworld Complete Collection!
  10. This game is coming out April 10th on all systems (plus PS+ and Game Pass) and is shaping up to be very good indeed. Already posting some huge review scores. 8 years in the making also
  11. The Last of Us Part II Remastered (PC)
  12. I'm sure everyone has seen it but Heat is a brilliant film with a top cast. It's a bit long but it's action packed and interesting throughout.
  13. Great game but I hope they do a proper remaster and not some sort of Skyrim 'Enhanced'/'Legendary' version where it looks inferior to even mods that were created by students in their spare time.
  14. Beat league leaders Sheffield United this afternoon which I didn’t see coming!
  15. I feel like I've completely outgrown Nintendo and they seem to be blurring into the likes of Sony and Microsoft with scummy tactics. Indie and AA titles are very expensive on their machine and with physical copies soon to house only partial install data, you have to wonder why they even bother. Soon to be paying £70 for a game that's useless without an online connection and 30gb download. Their exclusive range also does nothing for me now - I can see why Nintendo-only gamers may be wowed at some titles but even BOTW just felt like a bloated open world game with some infuriating mechanics and limited gameplay. I did enjoy some of it especially at the start but having played a zillion of these titles, it wasn't anything new or unique. Even for younger gamers, the amount of BS and the price here is just exhausting and they could easily broaden their horizons by a monumental margin with things like the Steam Deck. Switch 2 will basically have all the modern nonsense that plagues gaming but with a heavily restricted and overly-expensive catalogue.
  16. Absolute legend! I remember him coming to my village to film The Saint back in the 1990's. Even popped into my corner shop too! I wasn't familiar with him at the time but everyone around the place was going wild at such a massive figure being in our neighbourhood 🤣
  17. New game from FromSoftware and somewhat a spiritual successor to Bloodborne. For some reason it is a Switch 2 exclusive which is utterly insane seeing that virtually all their money is made from other consoles and PC including the massive success of Elden Ring.
  18. Not sure if anyone has been following this longstanding legal case, but a massive judgement has finally been awarded today in favour of Billy Mitchell and rightly so it seems. This result was actually a huge shock to people, especially those that had backed Karl Jobst to the tune of over $200,000 through crowdfunding because they believed the case was surrounding Mitchell suing Jobst for false cheating allegations and was a forgone conclusion. However, it has been revealed the civil action brought by Mitchell was actually regarding Jobst, who made implications that Mitchell was responsible for another person's suicide. This is very different from the narrative Karl Jobst made when he pitched to secure funding from supporters and now people are very angry that they have been mislead about the nature of the case. I have followed this for a very long time and have watched about 15 videos that Karl Jobst had produced prior and during the trial period and I don't think I have seen such an astonishing deception before, or whereby money is obtained under such false, or misleading pretences. Not once was it ever disclosed that he was being sued for the suicide claim and instead he persistently stated that it was a lawsuit based on allegations of cheating and this is firmly what people believed. This is clear fraud by false representation so he will have to pay the backers their money back else he could be liable for that too. Billy Mitchell is one of the biggest pieces of shit con artists in the industry but that pales in comparison to what Jobst has done and I am absolutely stunned. Karl Jobst was a very popular YouTuber in the speedrunning community with world records, and also covered lots of big stories especially when it came to cheating or fraud in the industry and had over 1m subscribers. He will never recover from this, not just for losing the lawsuit but lying to his supporters for years and taking their money under false circumstances. Mitchell will have a small fortunate reprieve and a huge payday to boot and it'll be paid for by the people Karl conned ultimately. He took the long-time feud too far and has paid an astonishing price with his money and career YouTuber Karl Jobst to pay more than $230,000 to Donkey Kong record holder Billy Mitchell in defamation ruling | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM And it could have been more, the judge said.
  19. The developers are literally based down the road from where I live but I'm just not a fan of their games. It's great to see them try something new outside of their safe Sniper Elite series but they just can't seem to shake off their reputation for making games that are just somewhat decent but nothing overly special or original. I don't have Game Pass so I wont try it and I wouldn't want to pay anything more than £13 for something like this. May have a look in the future but it seems to be just another ok game from them.
  20. Out today in early access. Been in development for a few years and has come a long way. Some of the most impressive animations I have seen
  21. Honestly, this game holds up so well I'm not sure a remaster will do much especially with the mods already out there. It's only viable if you wish to get it on console. I've been going through the 1999 classic and it just looks and plays so well that anyone would think this is the actual remastered version!
