I got about an hour half in to be attacked by bees trying to build my first crap hut. Got a little valley im gonna build a nice house on but definitely need more time in game to get it where I want it. Vision is there but execution is far from 🤣 I want see what the co op is like because right now I'm still running around with the bare rags you get to wear so going out at night is like going outside right now butt ass naked and jumping in some snow🤣 I wish I wasn't working these hours or I'd be on with all of you.

That's actually really impressive for a game that litterally came out of nowhere like that. Yes the genere is definitely overwhelmed with crap just like other genres but when you actually find a diamond in the rough it feels so good I am gonna go home and download this today 😊

I think im going to pick this up as well just to add another addition to my steam montage at the minute need more pc games to play with more people with my crazy hours right now so let me know if anyone wants to play im on Lee's friends list on steam if yall want to add me

I love all the feed back we are getting here. I'm hoping for something to come out that will really draw a lot of people in, I know thats a lot now a days to ask for. Also getting involved in a different game means new connections also different interactions. I'd love to have things scheduled out like Lee does but we all know things don't always pan out that way. I think I'm gonna try and talk to Lee about maybe having an open discord page where we can just jump in and out if anyone is on. But thank you all for replying means a lot.

I also made a thread a week or so ago about outriders and playing that with people if they were interested. I saw a topic on the game valheim and the game looks very interesting and up my alley, also talked to Lee about maybe getting into 7 days as well. I'll post my info and from what I understand it's more in game friend request then just steam friend request so I'll just post my steam friend code at the bottom if anyone is interested in maybe getting some games in or chatting about other games as well. It’s hard to see this as anything other than another victim of the cancer that is cancel culture.
 
Calling her out as racist and saying she should be fired just because she didn’t make a BLM post.  Or calls for her to be fired because she supported Trump.  By that logic, 74 million other Americans should be getting fired too.
 
I don’t follow her, or anyone really, o social media but from the articles I read she hasn’t actually said or done anything wrong.  Sure I disagree with the things she said but I’ve yet to find anyone I agree with on everything.

I'm not a huge fan of survival games especially those that are in early access and didn't really understand what was so appealing about this one either looking at it, however I picked it up a few days ago as a punt and I have to say it is absolutely exceptional! Only played about 10 hours so far solo but everything in this game is on another level from the general mechanics to the fantastic crafting system. The building is really well implemented albeit a bit finicky on uneven land but the world is so intriguing and beautiful. Every aspect of this game so far feels spot-on and the potential is crazy - you really get the sense the developer knows exactly what they are doing and how to do it which is rare for this type of game. I hear the co-op also works really well and is tremendous fun!
 
It's just a pleasant game to play that keeps on surprising with some great attention to detail and progression aspects tied to the crafting. I think this will be the best survival game of its kind if it isn't already and I've experienced zero bugs or issues so far. It feels so polished and really puts other games in this tarnished genre to shame.

There is a few PC games that bring us together, the biggest is probably 7 days to die which with the Darkness falls mod is both brilliant and horrible at the same time.  I also run a modded Minecraft server, currently running Sky Factory 3, and is open to anyone in FG.  Outside of that though PC can be a little sporadic with games here and there on Star Citizen, Green Hell and more recently Valheim.    Valheim does look interesting and something to keep an eye on with the good feedback from those who have played it though I'll probably be holding off for a little while as I picked up a few single player games I want to try first.

I think you'll find that the PC gaming world hasn't changed drastically. It's all just better hardware. Okay, maybe more awesome monitors that I could have never dreamed of when I was only PC gaming, but still... it's like riding a bike.

@FallenDark200  - you're better than I on being open to games that are dated and not graphically amazing. I swear, it's why I can't get through Elder Scrolls.. and why I won't play the Witcher series... and way it honestly took me so long to play Dragon Age and Mass Effect... which was actually a good thing for me lol.

@phil bottle @RenFengge  I would love to setup a calander event for Valheim. I know me being a console player for so long its been really weird getting back into pc gaming. I have been stuck on Destiny for about a year no other games and its like a hole breath of fresh air. My schedule right now is very messed up. I'm working 13 days straight and 1 day off. So I get 2 days off a month right now so gaming is far and beyond. I love helping and just having a good ol time and to be fair I'm still fairly new to all the new fancy pc stuff lol a lot has changed in 13 years to be fair same layout just way different. So I'm fair to try any games even if it's a little dated or isn't the graphically intense. It's about the experience, that's why I was stuck on Destiny for so long. So I'm excited to break away and start anew. @GazzaGarrattmaybe we can make this happen even if that means I gotta chip in posting stuff up.

I'll friend you on Steam after work. Just started playing Valheim on Sunday and plan to get back on with @GazzaGarratt and @tronic44 when we're all free. It's a great game.
 

My new PC is here, and part of me is getting tempted to just play everything on PC. Doesn't mean I will.

I tend to lean heavily on sim games and strategy games on PC. Sometimes, a few RPGs, but it's been a good minute since I have found an RPG I want to play on my PC.

So since having a fully built monster of a pc now. Specs are 
Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix b550-e
CPU-Ryzen 9 5900x
GPU-Asus ROG Strix 3080
Ram- 32gb of dual channel g skill rgb 
Storage - 1 tb of western digital 3.0 nvme
1 tb of ssd storage
Cooling lian li uni fans also a 240mm lian li galahad aio
Case- lian li lancool2 with upgraded to a mesh style case. 
 

So I have been doing some pc monitor lurking for a hot minute because at the minute I use a msi 27 inch curved montior for my ps4 and pc but my pc is a monster compared to my ps4 and if you want a 4k setup but also to be able to use all 3 your going to have to wait. I'll explain there is maybe one monitor on the market at the moment that will support high refresh rate 4k gaming for pc but it does not have hdmi 2.1 only hdmi 2.0 To get 4k on a ps5 you must use a 2.1 hdmi setup and there is no such monitor yet. They are coming 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter of the year from the bigger companies. So if I was you being in the same boat I'd wait. Save your money because these monitors will not be cheap as the one monitor that I explained earlier the mrsp on its $800 use. Oh and also curved monitor on fps doesn't take away my fov I feel it actually makes areas stand out more imo
