Event Viewer -> Windows -> System (Look for the time frame of the crash) That doesn't make sense. I have Home Premium on my sons old PC and just wiped it using the repair option. (Literally did it 2 weeks ago) If you don't have the option, then it most likely was removed, or not installed. Which is possible if you are hard up for HD space; hell, I have removed that partition before a few times. No, do not get WIndows 10. No, you cannot Dual boot WIndows 10

Can you post an Error log? I still hold true to bad mem or bad Mobo. Mobo being hte more likely candidate. Also, running memory scans will not detect bad mobo's, and will often times not detect bad memory. And yes, it is possible for there to be multiple bad sticks, this would typically be caused by the mobo not regulating the proper voltage to them. Regardless though, without a few memory dump logs, it is still hard to say. The only reason I keep focussing on the ramm here is that every issue I have ever had with the NTOSKRNL has been caused by bad ramm.

While I enjoyed the last Xcom, but I didn't pick up any of the DLC for it, and I honestly didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the X-coms from the 90's I am really torn on this one, I just can't say if I will end up getting it or not. Also, I had no idea there was a multiplayer angle to it

Whats the memory error that pops when the blue screen happens? I would suspect bad ram, or a bad cap on the motherboard

I have had it for a while now. It isn't really that good to be honest, very slow paced, hard to sort out what to do. However it is 3d combat so if you enjoy Homeworld, then you might enjoy this

I played both, and I vaguely remember not liking the controls of one of them, but not specifically which one. That was with Mouse and Keyboard though. I think with gamepad, it could be a much better experience. ( I initially hated the Witcher series because of the controls as well, but W3, made me go back and replay them as the controls are just amazing)

I have a feeling that this will be a test run for this style of game, and that later one we will see larger groups in each match. at least that is what I hope

My thoughts: I don't really care either way, but I do find it funny that people will now be able to raise faction for real world money. Which is on the same level as buying gear for real world money.

Bungie is to sell Destiny ammo packs for real money, a source familiar with the matter has confirmed to VG247. It’s as yet unknown when the feature will be added to the online shooter. While it was reaffirmed today, the rumour has existed since early last year alongside claims that no raid would be included in House of Wolves and micro-transactions would be added to Destiny. Both these updates proved to be correct. Micro-transactions first appeared in Destiny in October, 2015, when players were given the option to buy a new currency, Silver, with real money. Currently, the only pieces of content available for purchase are emotes and Sparrow items from Eververse, a vendor in Destiny’s Tower social hub. The sale of ammo packs will mark a significant step forward for Bungie and Activision’s approach to Destiny’s micro-transactions, as it will have a direct, if limited, effect on gameplay. You’ll soon be able to spend your Silver on purple synths, apparently. The most sought after ammo pack by far is Heavy Ammo Synthesis, as Heavy is essential for high-level PvE activities such as raiding. There are currently only three ways to acquire Heavy packs: you can buy them from the Tower gunsmith, Banshee-44, for 950 Glimmer, Destiny’s “free” in-game currency; exotic vendor Xur sells packs of three for one Strange Coin; and Variks, the Reef’s Prison of Elders handler, sells them for 250 Glimmer and a pack of Ether Seeds.
