  1. I saw this when it came out this and Lock, Stock, and 2 smoking barrells are 2 of my favorite movies. I actually have a slightly amusing story about this movie. At my last job i was telling a coworker about it, and i couldn't remember Jason Statham's name. All I could remember was his name was Turkish. So I went to my desk, and I googled "turkish snatch" the search results were not what I expected, but I should have known better. The funny part is the Net admin and I ended up talking about the movie as well once he called me into his office to explain why I was looking at porn at work.
  2. My heritage is russian, so I figured that was enough. Well shit.
  3. Wait a sec..... I was rigging the votes for @Diddums Something fishy is going on here
  4. https://gamestechica.com/2018/08/08/obsidian-entertainment-letter-of-intent-for-an-acquisition-by-microsoft-leaked/ Obsidian Entertainment Letter-of-intent for an Acquisition by Microsoft Leaked August 8, 2018 Marcin Dzieciol We all remember Phil Spencer announcing 5 new studios acquisition during this years E3. They bought Playground Games, Compulsion Games, Undead Labs, and Ninja Theory. The Initiative is a brand new studio that MS is building from scratch. This announcement was quite big in itself but it was not all. Shortly after E3 we started hearing more rumors about Microsoft being interested in even more studios. Then just few weeks ago Matt Booty admitted that they are searching for AA studios which they could support and grow. And it looks like they did not throw words to the wind as Microsoft is getting ready to purchase Obsidian Entertainment. Obsidian Entertainment is a AA studio well known for RPG games. They have made Fallout New Vegas, Star Wars KOTOR 2 and the latest one being Pillars of Eternity 2. Microsoft has worked with them before on few projects in the past like KOTOR 2 which was released for OG XBOX and rumored Stormland for Xbox One which was canceled and nearly put Obsidian out of business. Many said that Obsidian will never want to work with them again but it looks like Obsidian not only agreed to work with them again but also to be bought by them. According to ResetEra user Obsidian Entertainment Letter-of-intent For An Acquisition by Microsoft has been prepared which means that there are getting ready to finalize the deal. Now take this info with a grain of salt as this has not been officially confirmed by any party involved in this acquisition but it’s no secret that MS is looking for more studios. If true this would be a big deal for Xbox owners as this developer with Microsoft backing would sure be capable of delivering great games and Xbox sure need good RPGs. If I learn more about this I sure will be the first to report on this. So stay tuned for more.
  5. So you have a 7?

  7. Damned Egg hunt, I always lose. I wish you could attack the little kids participating
  8. If I don't know the answer, I can at least help research it.
  9. Okay, I gotcha! I didn't realize you were a newb for android. So I dislike the newer GalaxyUI's I don't find them intuitive, probably because I am old, and have reached a point where change, purely for new shininess, is annoying. Nova Launcher is an app that completely changes the UI in Galaxy, there are a variety of options, I run the one that makes my phone look like the older Galaxy S3 and S4. If you are coming from apple products you might like the new Galaxy UI. I can't really say either way. I will say this though, the Android is almost fully customizable, you just have to be willing to do the legwork to find how to do it.
  10. I don't understand Samsungs need for the curved edges. They are annoying more than anything. I enjoy the phone to be honest, but I had to do several things on it to get it where its actually okay. disable/ remove as many Bixby services as I could Download the Bixby Button remap app. Then I changed the Bixby button to open up my camera. Download Nova Launcher and get it set up. Once I did those, it is actually an amazing phone. Bixby is the biggest issue I have with Samsung products though. They really need to just stop trying to force people to use it. I also picked up a Samsung Gear S3 frontier. Which is absolutely amazing!
  11. I have a samsung galaxy s9+

    Xbone X

I can't argue with anything you said. I will add to it though It feels to me like they took the 360 UI and just ramped it up to 11. I need to break out my 360 and see how true that statement is.

    Xbone X

Thoughts on this after a few days. (I wont' go into game library comparisons) Being able to play all my old digital 360 games is pretty amazing to be honest. The menu system is absolutely horrible. OMG it is bad. I am pretty sure they had blind people test it using braille enabled controllers. I actually had to ask my nephew how to turn the damned thing off. It is all so counter-intuitive. Graphic's and sound are actually amazing, but its hard getting passed the horrible menu system. The controller is good, it feels nice in Destiny 2, really quick and responsive. My KD actually was better in the crucible. This might be because most good players are on PS4. If so, I should be wrecking shop here soon. The Xbox Game pass subscription service is also pretty nice for 10$, the game selection was better than the PS4 version of it. Using it as a media center is also better, sort of.... Once again the menu system is absolute shit. Their appeared to be more streaming services on it than what the PS4 had, I need to look into this more. Conclusion: The system is actually really good, if you can ignore the UI. The UI is so terrible that is obvious to me why PS4 is dominating right now purely based on user experience. If Microsoft were to address the shit menu system, I could see the Xbone X being a better system to be honest. I have read a lot of horror stories about hardware issues, so I will have to see how this treats me over the next few months.
  14. Pretty much what Rob said. /patientgaming4lyfe!

    The Ocho!

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/aug/1/espn-to-bring-back-the-ocho-for-day-of-dodgeball-c/ ESPN to bring back 'The Ocho' for day of dodgeball, chess boxing ESPN will bring back “The Ocho” on Aug. 8 for the second straight year. The channel will rebrand ESPN2 for 24 hours of obscure sports coverage, including competitive eating, dodgeball, chessboxing, kabbadi, darts, sumo wrestling and cornhole. The company tried out the same experiment on ESPNU in 2017. The name “The Ocho” is a reference to the 2004 movie “DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story,” in which a dodgeball tournament was televised on the fictional “ESPN8: The Ocho.” The name also explains the choice of Aug. 8 — the eighth day of the eighth month. Sandwiched between showings of “DodgeBall” at midnight and 10 p.m. that day, the schedule includes screenings of 2006 competitive bratwurst and hamburger-eating contests, as well as some new content such as “The Saber Legion 2018: Awakening” — a full-contact sport in which players fight with lightsabers fashioned after the “Star Wars” franchise. In the middle of the day will be airings of “E:60,” ESPN’s investigative newsmagazine show, and “SportsCenter” at 11 a.m. and noon, respectively. They are likely to be versions of the same show focused only on obscure sports. And what is chessboxing? It’s just chess plus boxing. Players alternate between a four-minute round of chess and a round of boxing, the winner being decided by checkmate or knockout — whichever comes first. “Best of Chess Boxing” will be broadcast at 5 p.m. Aug. 8, live on “The Ocho.”
  19. I have been doing the same on the clan sections of reddit, but sadly I have gotten zero traffic from it. I am going to jump over and try to do the same on the Xbox sections here soon.

  24. Bungie showed off arguable the most convincing trailer for Destiny 2’s fall Forsaken expansion yet, one that debuts ten different exotics, which is not all of them on the way, but it’s enough to get players more than a little excited. Why? Because finally, finally Bungie seems to have learned that exotic weapons and gear should feel truly exotic, and that’s never been more on display than what we see in this trailer. Here are the ten new exotics shown off, as well as some initial thoughts on each. Two-Tailed Fox (Rocket Launcher) – Fire two rockets at once Destiny 2Bungie I believe this was called the Twin Rabbit at one point, as we got a look at it a while back. This fires two different rockets at once, but from this trailer, I’m wondering if each is able to independently track their target, as that’s what this PvP footage appears to show, rather than two rockets simply spiraling toward one target. If so, that’s a big deal. MORE FROM FORBES Antaeus Wards (Titan Boots) – Slide to reflect projectiles Destiny 2Bungie This is one of the most talked-about exotics of the bunch, as we see it reflect a rocket in the trailer, but fans are wondering what else it might be able to reflect. Colossus missiles? Tank shells? Nova bombs? It’s a cool concept, buuuut I’m wondering how practically useful it’s going to be in most circumstances. It seems extremely situational to be taking up your only exotic armor slot, and like you have the potential to get killed a lot of the time when diving in to reflect something that would otherwise one-shot you, but we’ll see. Trinity Ghoul (Bow) – Precision kills creates electrical storm arrows Destiny 2Bungie This essentially turns your bow into an arc grenade launcher on precision kills, and I’m guessing that precision kills are something you get with a bow often. This seems pretty Riskrunner-esque with its chain lightning potential, but it just requires you to be accurate, not to be hit with arc damage yourself. The Sixth Coyote (Hunter Chest) – Double dodge Destiny 2Bungie To me, this is probably the most underwhelming exotic of the ten. Sure, double dodge looks cool in this few-second snippet here, but in practice? With so many other great Hunter exotics out there? I’m just not sure I see the ultimate utility. Dodge is already on such a low cooldown in many builds this just doesn’t seem necessary. And considering half the point of dodging is to reload or charge your melee, doing that twice in a row instantly serves really no purpose. It’s really just for gap closing, I guess? I dunno, we’ll see. Malfeasance (Hand Cannon) – Five hits detonate an explosion Destiny 2Bungie This is the hand cannon that everyone thought was the new Thorn, but it turns out it’s its own thing instead. These are five hits anywhere, not just precision hits like the Polaris Lance, so that’s a new level of crazy, depending on the magazine size. Black Talon (Sword) – Projectile sword Destiny 2Bungie The Bolt Caster lives again in the form of an exotic sword that can shoot out a projectile. Swords have been underpowered for so long it will remain to be seen if one like this can bring the power weapon back into fashion, but I like what I’m seeing so far. One Thousand Voices (Beam Rifle) – Exploding beam of fire Destiny 2Bungie Now we’re moving into the utter insanity portion of the program. This beam rifle is essentially…Xol’s mouth, shooting a beam of fire that rips up the ground with a follow-up explosion. I think it might be built directly from Xol himself, given the look of it and the name. I want this gun more than any of the others so far. Chromatic Fire (Warlock Chest) – Elemental explosions from precision kinetic kills Destiny 2Bungie And speaking of craziness, this Warlock chest has the potential to be absolutely dominant. Giving every kinetic gun dragonfly? Crimson? Midnight Coup? Origin Story? MIDA? That’s just…wow. This is going to be extremely sought-after, I can already tell, and it looks pretty awesome to boot. Wish-Ender (Bow) – See through walls and over-penetrate targets Destiny 2Bungie Become the bane of everyone in PvP with wall hacks. You can’t shoot through walls, which is what I initially thought, but you can shoot through people to hit…other people, which is still cool in its own right. Ace of Spades (Hand Cannon) – Reloading after a kill grants extra damage bullets Destiny 2Bungie Everyone is shrugging about this because it sounds like the Ace of Spades exotic perk is just Kill Clip, but I think it’s more than that. I believe reloading after a kill gives you an entire magazine of powerful bullets, not just a short window of time like Kill Clip. And from the footage, it looks like they pack a lot more of a punch than regular Kill Clip shots. So don’t count Ace out yet. ??? (Shotgun) - ??? Destiny 2Bungie This was just shown briefly at the end, but a pump shotgun covered in Hive runes? I don’t know what it is or what it does but I want it all the same. Also shown in this trailer are the four-barreled shotgun Game Informer covered and the return of the Titan airplane helm. God, I really cannot wait until September.
