There is no map, I removed all of my test maps as the file would be about a gb in size then Also, NEI does add a listing on the right hand side for all the items in the game. Also, I recommend using the John Smith Tech (1) resource pack. It seriously makes the game look nice, and I already patched it for the mods.

oooohhhhhhh I see what happened now. That makes sense as when you unzipped it, it made a folder for the name of the Zip file, and then dumped it all inside! sorry man, I totally forgot about that.

okay, so on the edit profile screen change your "Use Version" to Whatever Forge entry is in there. That "should" do it I will make a better more comprehensive set of instructions tonight if I am able. (Wife comes home from a business trip tonight, so I might not have time)

I had a feeling stuff like this would happen, so its all good Some thoughts Did you make sure it was pointed at the right folder? Also, there is no "Bin" folder anymore. There is a "mod" folder now. uh, if you want, send me a screenshot please of your launcher screen, as well as the Edit Profile screen. I should be able to help you from those two. because it sounds like its not recognizing the "Forge install location. I wish I knew how to do a "FRAPS" video or something, I would just do that for you guys.

I have yet another question for you guys. One thing I have noticed is we all tend to be hermits when it comes to this game. We sort of split apart and make our claims, and then only pop our heads up when we do something AWESOME! (Dylan is sort of all over the place, so he doesn't really fit in with this stereotype.) I was planning on working on the spawn over the next few days. I had debated on doing an actual town, instead of the usual Tavern style building. I was going to add a few public buildings (Warehouse, Library, Blacksmith shop, and Farm), Roads and what not as well. Are you guys cool with this? This is the actual location of the spawn There is a lot I can do here to make it nice, and there is a flat land area right across the water in the pic, which is actually a pretty long river. I wish I had taken a pic of the Dynmap for you guys to see how extensive this all is, but I was old man tired last night.

I posted that link while running out the door to get to work. I will try to write up some actual directions for you guys here in a few. Also, if Google Drive chokes out on us for any reason, I will switch to Drop Box. In my head it should be this easy: Download the link Unzip it Run the Minecraft .exe, NOT THE FOLDER Once the new MC launcher loads up, click "Edit Profile" in the lower left corner One of the options there will be "Game location or something. I cannot remember the wording, but it is like 3rd or 4th option from the top. Click the check box and then make sure the path listed there is the path to the MINECRAFT FOLDER you just downloaded Save Profile Launch game You might have to log me out. It will prompt you to, if thats the case. Several Texture packs are already installed in that folder, they are now called "Resource Packs" Also, one last surprise, I added in an "Infinite Lava" mod to the server. So now you chuckleheads can make Lava in the same way that we can make water! (SSSOOOO much easier to fuel furnaces now)

I found an AWESOME MAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the coolest mountains ever Here is the catch, I really limited the biomes that we have access to, in order to get some sort of Norse feel. here is the list: The spawn is in a Volcano biome, it is huge, one of the largest volcano regions I have ever seen in the game. There are also a ton of Alps, Shield, and Hill biomes nearby. This map is nuts if you like that sort of thing. Which I do. Now I recognise that you guys might not. So, if you want me to change any of the settings above, let me know, and I will add biome types back in.

Tonight, I plan on compressing down my Install/ Config/ and Launcher for you fella's I will post it up to Drop box or something, so that all you have to do is download it, unzip it and then run it. All the mods will be configured for wherever we place the server and what not

I hope I am not the only one here that remembers the scrambled porn channels from the 80's and 90's Man, every now and again the pic would unscramble and you'd see an 80's boob or even some ass, and it was glorious. now I got porn in 1080p, 3d, HD, surround sound, and everything else. Hell I can see the Genital wart removal scars on Faye Reagans asshole, and thats just screwed up. I shouldn't see that stuff! No one should see that stuff, let alone see it in 27 inches of hi-def //I miss simpler times.

I havne't come across any quicksand yet, I am pretty sure that was a ExtraBiomesXL piece Uh, I am letting dave handle the money aspect of getting the server, I "hope" to have it up and ready soon. I just want to make sure that we have all the mods we absolutely want before posting it up. Adding mods after world generation is a huge PITA.

Everything ran really well last night. The random seed I chose puts us on the side of a mountain; in a pretty inhospitable area. I left my pics of it at home though, so I can't share. I will be playing with Seeds tonight to find a decent map. http://biomesoplenty.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Biomes Thats a list of all the biomes in BoP, I have a bunch turned off, but all the vanilla biomes are there. I will get a list for you guys of the ones that are left on, its still a large amount, and with the vanilla biomes still on, we shouldn't be short any materials. If you see any mods you think would be a good fit just let me know and I will try to get them in there tonight to test.

Mod test went pretty successful tonight Not sure what you guys think of this but this is the list as of right now Biomes O Plenty Underground Biomes Natura Thaumcraft 4 Thaumic Tinkerer Twilight Forest And I added in Buildcraft for Dave, cause he sexes me up I don't think more is needed really. We have The End, the Nether, The Twilight Forest, and the Promised land for more dimensions. Thaumcraft is pretty overwhelming, and if you guys are able, please check some videos. If you all want to pull it then I will. The mod has changed a ton since the Tekkit days, and I am really up in the air on it.

I am playing with Magic and Dimension mods tonight. Basically revisiting a few I used to play with in FTB. I will let you guys know how it goes tomorrow. If this goes well, we should have something solid by the end of the week. Then I will work on a spawn point and what not

I looked at Ars Magica (It adds a ton of awesome mobs, randomly spawning magic towers, and other things) but its not updated to 1.6.4 yet.
