I have the Gears collection pack, it is still in its wrapper, had it since Christmas. (Wife thought I would like it LOL) Gears was one of those games where I loved the story, and the cut scenes, but the controls absolutely broke the game for me.

PC only, I doubt even current gen could run the older versions, there was just way to much going on.

Oddly enough, COD still puts up insane numbers for sales and DLC's The announced exclusivity with Sony was weird, I don't think much will come out that I will care about though. Destiny changed the nature of FPS when they took the playbook that had been CoD and poured RPG all over it. (Now if Destiny could just do the same with Battlefield 4) Games like The Division and For Honor are starting to show that customers want that style of game more, and it makes sense. Lastly, the entire time I watched this premiere last night, I thought about this game right here:

All of the Anno games are based around city building, but with a purpose. If you think SimCity with Missions, you won't be far off. It is also very Civ like but instead of Tech Tree's, you have to get population types to unlock future buildings. Really not sure how to describe it without making it sound like a micromanagement type game, which it isn't really. There are a bunch of games in the franchise, but my favorite was the last one Anno 2070

Yea, this isn't a game changer by any stretch for me. Sony has been nothing but good to me since the PS1, so I won't be bailing on them anytime soon. I just really hate owning games I can't play
