Well that all sounds fucking disappointing but not unexpected. Was going to go see Spider-Man if it was a choice between the two. Sounds like another classic case of a Hollywood cash grab at the expense of the original. Thanks for the honest non-spoiler review.

In other news, as it’s late December I watched die hard and it still doesn’t disappoint.

Yeah watched wrath of man and was thoroughly underwhelmed considering the pairing (guy should get back to writing rock’n’rolla 2). Just felt like he had always wanted to do a film in the pulp fiction style and cocked it up.

NFC - I think between the Cardinals and the Bucs. AFC - I’d love to say bills, but our kryptonite is now too widely known that we still can’t stop a good running game. Unfortunately I think it’s finally between the Chiefs and the Ravens.

They certainly had too in the first half mate because that bomb squad of yours utterly destroyed us in the second, a little surprised we got away with only one yellow but good counter attack try in the second half saved us. You watching the Wales v Oz 1 point game?

Today’s England v South Africa was a fucking awesome game (soz Didds). The autumn internationals have produce some real gold this time around, especially off the back of Ireland’s win over the All Blacks and, even though the score ran away in the end, the at times 13 man Fijians scaring the shit out of Wales, but the game today was an great one. Just a shame it wasn’t 2 years ago. Hopefully the Wales v Australia and France v New Zealand games will be as good.

Chiefs have been woeful up until last week and their record is generous at best. If they want to contend again they need to rebuild that offensive line to give mahomes and his receivers time to get open. As for the lolphins, I wouldn’t worry about the next 5 weeks but they finish against the Saints, Titans and Dolphins so you could expect another one. 😂

Sounds like I should give Avengement ago. Watched Red Notice and pretty much agree with you guys, good but underwhelming at the same time. As much as I like to give new films a chance I find myself more and more going back to older ones I haven’t seen in a while, like I did today…..with Starship Troopers.

Agreed that studios are trying to overly force comedy into films atm, which is a shame when you have naturally funny actors like Johnson and Reynolds as it makes them looks bit ham. Downloaded this to watch at work tomorrow.

Right been a while since I posted on here (have been watching more sport and tv series), but got back into watching a few films before work: No time to die (new bond flick): For me a good stand alone film not just bond film, good building of new characters, including remi maleks villain. Won’t say much more as to spoil the plot but worth a watch. Rock’n’rolla: Great film from Guy Richies back catalogue of british “gangster” films. Well written, great wit and good cast of characters. Just waiting on the promised sequel. Bloodshot: vin diesel action flick, classic one man army blowing everything up with an interesting concept but pretty underwhelming if I’m honest. Gunpowder Milkshake: honestly I’m in two minds whether I liked this or not. Saw many reviews that built this up as “Jane Wick” which is a little inaccurate, think more a mix of John wick and kill bill but with maybe a bit too much girl power/fuck the male establishment, which is a shame considering some of the cast in the flick. Again not a bad one time watch but you may feel like they missed a trick on what could have been a good film. monty python and the holy grail: because why the fuck wouldn’t you.

First off I hope you guys all had a good day yesterday, even if it wasn’t quite how we all would have liked it to have been. I had a good Xmas day with the family, especially little nephew. Haul of presents was pretty much alcohol related, with a bit of money to go to a new tool bag as well. Now thanks to Boris we’ve been bumped into tier 4 so gonna sit back and chill with today’s sport and continue where I left off yesterday making a dent in the alcohol supplies. Will probably get online from tomorrow onwards so will hopefully catch up with some of you then. In the meantime hope you all enjoy yourselves 🍻 Merry Xmas -
