  1. I’m down for another shot at the title, just got to remember not to pick the bills while drinking again
  2. Yeah not watched the original but may try to find it on a streaming service. Also just watched the gentlemen series on Netflix and thought it was very good, glad they didn’t try to carry it on from the film but have adapted it to be based on that sort of world.
  3. Smells like teen spirit came on the radio and the apprentice plumber didnt know who nirvana was. Subsequently I went down the rabbit hole to one of my favourite and their final tracks
  4. I think this will be the highlight of Man Utd’s season
  5. Yeah figured they’d beat them but not pump them. Possibly or trying to find out who the best of his younger/project players go against tough opposition before the World Cup. Hopefully we won’t have to play them after the group stages as they’d probably beat us.
  6. I just completed this quiz. My Score 42/100 My Time 265 seconds
  7. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 269 seconds

  9. I just completed this quiz. My Score 10/100 My Time 53 seconds
  10. Hard cuz I like a lot of series but far too many have bits that are boring in places and I tune out of/fast forward through (game of thrones, 24, the sopranos, Vikings) but ones go with are: Archer Rick and Morty Futurama Top Gear Band of Brothers
  11. Watched it live and watched plenty of replays and I still can’t figure out how Farrell got away with that high tackle. Are we that shit with him that the Aussies on the review board think if he starts we’ll go out early?! 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. Just gonna post this here. Not bragging or expecting promotion, more like I don’t expect it to last so want to savour a good start after years in league 1.
  13. Right I’m gonna get this in now before @Diddums has a chance to knife me with it. England are really not playing well. I didn’t mind the Borthwick hire and had mentally given him a bit of a pass for this World Cup as he would want to put his own playing style on the team…but these last two games against Wales of the back of the six nations campaign have been legitimately tough to watch, and Wales probably should have won both games. Thankfully I’ve been able to offset the shit I see from England with 2 great and exciting games from Scotland v France. South Africa and Ireland need to watch out or they could end up joining England in the dumpster fire of an embarrassing group stage exit.
  14. well looks like I maybe doing it drunk or by auto draw as the yearly pub crawl with mates has just been organised and the only date everyone can do is the 28th.
  15. Literally just watched Oppenheimer and it was bloody good. Well directed, great story (not overly bogged down with quantum physics language) and brilliant cast with Cillian Murphy knocking it out the park with a lot of good supporting appearances from familiar Christopher Nolan actors (interesting to see how young people will react to RDJ not being Tony Stark in a major movie). Definitely recommend.
  16. We get it you jammy old bastard, yours was great as was shit by comparison
  17. Yes it’s available on Apple App Store just post a message on here when you’ve got it setup and they’ll send the code for the league through
  18. Really good interview about a difficult and clearly personally distressing topic. Just a shame he had to be out of his comfort zone to give the interview before the papers printed whatever they wanted. Good to hear he got to the point were he took the action himself as others could so easily carried on that slide, and fair play to Everton keeping it quiet and helping him get the help he needed, can’t help think some other premier league clubs would have cut him loose to get it done on his own. Hope to see him bounce back in a positive fashion, whatever that maybe whether it’s on the field or coming away for it to help others. Also a big amount of praise needs to go to Gary Neville for doing the interview and going with the discussion when it clearly went where he wasn’t expecting and not forcing Dele with anything. I don’t like the term of ‘new media’ but a platform like this, which is a lot more popular with sports people of all types in the US, is clearly where players feel more comfortable discussing these issues so hope we get more of them in the UK.
  19. I just completed this quiz. My Score 73/100 My Time 360 seconds
  20. We have to make a draft board? Better pull my finger out. When is the draft?
  21. I really enjoyed the show, and not having played the games am very happy it was available for £6 on the ps store recently. After watching the whole season I ended up reading a lot of the plots and it seems they have gone very quickly through it, but is this to make sure they don’t stagnate and get into repetitive/similar issues like the walking dead had or go too far away from source material like the witcher?
  22. Trying to to spoil but I think the end of the series certainly left a hook for me to get into the next season but they do really need to flesh out the characters more for us not to be bored with the previously pointed out repetitive storylines and having grogu around just to sell merchandise. Also having released the last trilogy they have already sort of spoiled the fact that the empire is definitely existing in the background, rather than having a slow tease of them potentially still being there and infiltrating the new republic. I’m not big on the lore or the other storylines but just feels like they are being lazy with the writing that we’re experiencing in other disney products. Never understood why they took the beskar spear he acquired and made a big deal of away from him, saying it was because he had the dark saber, when they were clearly going to do what they did with that weapon from the start of series 3.
  23. In my very early years I was tortured by my mothers taste in pop that was abba, cliff richard, Elton John and boyzone. Fortunately my taste in my teenage years fell more in line with a particular forum plumber, getting into newer rock like oasis, blur, foo fighters, queens of the stage, offspring and muse, as well as a mix from other genres from reel big fish and less than jake, to eminem and dr dre and prodigy and fat boy slim. Now it’s still pretty much rooted in rock music listening to new and older stuff from ACDC, led zeppelin, guns and roses to royal blood and kasabian, but most days rather than anything in particular I end up listening to whatever station is on the site radio whether that’s kisstory, absolute radio or planet rock.
  24. Very good show, nice alternative to the preseason and in season hard knocks where they follow a lot of unknown players at first. Hopefully it becomes a yearly thing following another 3.
