  1. No prob, just wanted to make sure something wasn't messed up on my end was all.
  2. Lawless with Tom Hardy. Good flick.
  3. For a week now I have had a notification showing on the main header of the site, but when I click on it nothing happens and the notification will not go away no matter what I do. Just me or is there a site issue?
  4. Need not say more....but you DO need to ask yourself, do you feel lucky, punk?
  5. 2nd best movie on my all time favorites list right behind A River Runs Through it. I usually watch it at least 2-3 times per year. Was actually just thinking the other day it's about time to watch it again soon
  6. Watched "The Hobbit an Unexpected Journey" last night. I enjoyed it quite well. Heard it was geared more to the kids than LOTR but it was not a kid geared as I was expecting it to be it was still pretty good.
  7. It's funny to see guns stamped with that Western on them, my 12g is one such gun which has that Western stamp on it. It took me awhile to figure out exactly what that was when I was trying to research it. Ended up finding out it was actually a Mossberg but sold through Western Auto back in the 60's. Much simpler time back then when you could but guns at places like that.
  8. I have that exact same Marlin 60. My Mom got it for my dad as a anniversary gift back in the late 60's. That's been one of the most trouble free reliable target rifles I have ever owned.
  9. Hopefully your wife's and your loved ones have a treatable form Dave. Cancer is the one thing that is the scariest word you can hear from a doctor. I lost my Dad to prostate cancer when he was only 52 yrs old. The only good thing is that treatment for cancer of different types has come a long way even in just the past 15 yrs so more and more people are now survivors rather than statistics. Hang in there.
  10. Basically because some of these foreign countries are simply no where near as professional nor have the high level of accountability that countries like the USA or UK have. Something major happens in our country and there's there's high levels of protocol that are enacted immediately and a very thorough investigation gets underway. Other countries such as Malaysia are so far behind when it comes to protocol during major incidents that it is ridiculous. Case in point- Just a day or two ago I was watching the news and they were talking to some of the people in charge of the investigation over there, the person they were talking too said "We have not yet searched the pilots place of residence"... Say what?? a plane disappears inexplicably and after a whole week no one has even searched the pilots house for clues as to an explanation? wow
  11. Actually Doc I missed the part were you said "A secure container, such as a lock box, safe, or in wall unit." so you were probably talking about something like the quick access safe to being with. Sorry I missed that the first time I read it through somehow.
  12. I agree that 100% that people with small children need to make their guns safe so that kids in the house can not access them, but I do disagree with keeping a gun unloaded if it is for home defense. When a home intruder is breaking into your home with your wife and kids inside that is not the time to be taking time to try locate the magazine and load your gun. There are a great deal of makers these days of quick access handgun safes which you can keep right on the stand next to the bed so you can access your loaded home defense handgun and never have to worry about kids being able to access it. Doc I know you know what they are, but for those that are not aware of what a quick access handgun safe is http://www.sentrysafe.com/Products/496/QAP1E_Quick_Access_Pistol_Safe
  13. LMAO that pretty much describes the past few days changes. Just hope this summer is not tatooine
  14. Actually look somewhat civilized now .
  15. Just got done trimming the beard up. It's just been getting way too long and I was startin to feel like Grizzly Adams the past month or two. I actually was thinking of shavin' it off but I just got to have some sort of facial hair so I trimmed it up to about 1/2" now so It's more of a Chuck Norris 80's beard than a 70's Grizzly Adams beard BTW Dave we are we gonna get a Smiley icon with a beard around this joint? lol
  16. Today we finally went back up to 52! Now the snow is melting so fast I think I may have to go put my waders on just to take the trash out
  17. deterioration- have you seen "The Spy Who Loved Me" (Roger Moore) yet? If not let me know because when I was building up my Bond DVD collection a few years ago I mistakenly bought that movie twice so I have a DVD copy of that I'll send ya free if you want it. Long as you don't live a billion miles away lol I don't think you do though.
  18. You can't count that as a real "Bond" movie because it wasn't actually part of the James Bond series. That was a spoof / parody movie with peter Seller, and Woody Allen. Counting that as a part of the true Bond series would be like counting Space Balls as part of the Star Wars series lol.
  19. I just clicked and there were three "registered" users online over there....They were Google [bot], Google Adsense [bot], MSNbot Media I see that place is still jumpin lol
  20. Dalton to me was just was off par for what James Bond is supposed to be. He was way too skinny and frail looking, was fugly as hell, and looked like a 10 yr old could probably kick his ass. On top of that I always thought he was a pretty poor actor to start with, so yeah, he was the bottom of the order for my taste in Bond's. I'm still not a huge Daniel Craig fan as Bond, but he did redeem himself quite a bit with his performance in Skyfall. I have to give him credit for that one.
  21. If I'm not mistaken I believe he did a few years ago on one of the older site versions. Didn't he post a close up pic of him sitting on his porch sharpening an axe?
  22. Supposedly yesterday they found what they believe could be a large piece of the wreckage via a satellite image. Haven't heard anymore since then though so who knows.
  23. It's getting ridiculous now at this point. We just started to have some melt last week and now we got hit with 6" fresh inches on top of what we still had. I think we are within only a few inches of this being the most snow ever in Detroit area in one year. Last I checked we were close to 90" total for the winter so far
