I'd certainly play it. If it was F2P then I'd probably buy some MTX's which is something I absolutely refuse to do in current CODs as I'm not paying £50-60 for the game and then buying other shit as well.
I really don't understand why they don't just stop releasing a COD every year - well, maybe release a new campaign for £30 or whatever - and instead just keep updating a core game like Siege or Overwatch do. They should just copy bloody COD mobile at this point. I've played it and it's actually good fun: loads of weapons and modes, and they take maps from EVERY game that's been released.
Warzone to remain ‘front and center’ to Call of Duty franchise for a ‘long time’
CHARLIEINTEL.COM
Activision has extensive content plans for Call of Duty: Warzone, and the free to play Battle Royale experience is here to stay.
Sounds like Activision are making an absolute shit ton of money from Warzone so they've decided that mode is what is most important now.
WW2 and IW were a hell of a lot worse. I can't decide which is out of those 2 was the shittest TBH.
To me MW and CW are basically the same game just set in different eras. Except CW has Ninja and no doors. And slightly better maps.
Season 2 will apparently bring back........ Firing Range and Summit AGAIN 🙄 With all the awesome maps at Treyarch's disposal, why is it always the same fucking maps they bring back? I want Grid, Crisis, Yemen, Overflow, Rush, Mirage.
The jump from MW2 to BO1 was very jarring. Although I think I enjoyed BO1 more.
Core in BOCW isn't as bad as previous Treyarch games. I think I just don't like the longer TTK. I much preferred the TTK in MW.
I don't think it's the maps. Cold War maps feel very much like MW2019 maps yet I could play Core fine in MW.
How does HC take less skill? I've heard that before but it makes no sense. Yes you die in a bullet or 2 so it's technically easier to kill people, but if your aim is dogshit then you're going to die before you can hit anybody. I've played with plenty of people (even FG people) who are good in Core but struggle in HC.
For some reason when I play any Treyarch COD I just can't play Core. It's just a frustrating, un-fun, experience. So much shoot first-die first bullshit.
So I basically HAVE to play Hardcore. It's just a more enjoyable experience.
But playing Infinity Ward games Core is fine.
Anybody else have the same problem with Treyarch games or is it just me?
Look at this shite. The game can adjust difficulty IN REAL TIME during a match. So if you are doing well it can make it so you need to be more accurate to actually shoot people.
So it's not actually SBMM. Games are basically rigged.
How much of a sad prick do you have to be to reverse boost just to make yourself look good at the game? You're ruining the fun of much lesser skilled - and possibly disabled - players just so you can go on Youtube and brag about how you're l33tPr0 at the game.
The main issue is that there's nothing Activision can do about it. They refuse to talk about or even acknowledge that SBMM in it's current form is in the game. If they start punishing players for reverse boosting then they're admitting SBMM *is* in the game and that will give them no end of problems.
I hated S&D in MW because of the super loud footsteps. It absolutely killed that mode for me. I distinctly remember playing S&D with the FG lot on MW, I was the last player alive and despite crouch walking I was heard from quite a distance away through walls and the player on the other team was just tracking my exact location and killed me as soon as I entered the room with the bomb 😱 At least with Ninja in this game you have a chance to be stealthy.
It's not a Prestige system at all. Should have called it something different like Prestuge.
The old system was better. At least you had something to work towards when you Prestiged.
BO3 is the best COD game this gen. It's all been downhill since then.
As for this game..... I've barely played it. Not because it's bad but because I just can't be bothered. I think I'll wait til season on drops before playing it properly. Plus I've got a Terraria addiction again and can't stop playing that.
