Really sorry to hear about your struggles dude, but really well done on not letting it push you off the wagon. You've done a really brave thing by putting yourself out there with this post and letting people know that you have been struggling, that is such a difficult thing to do.

You sound like a pretty awesome dude, and we are always here to try and help out or just be an ear for you to vent to 😊 Look after yourself and GG's dude 😊

I think this shows that this place is far more than just a clan, it is a community, a group of friends.  And no, this isn’t Lee alternate account.

So you don’t have to apologise for anything my dude.  You’re not the life of the party currently, so what? It’s better that you reflect how you feel than surpress it and cover it all up.

You’ll get back to your ‘normal’ self one day but until that day, don’t fee you need to fake it and know we’re all supporting you.

Now that took guts to write that and be so open about the struggles your facing because most of the time we tend to put on an act and don’t let people in to see how we really feel so hats off dude, I know we haven’t spoke or anything but I wish you all the best on your journey to get better, you will get there in the end, it may not be easy but you will, GG’s and well done for staying off the drink, take care buddy

I think I've personally found in FG that this place is full of people who don't judge you based on a few moments of madness. What you're going through is clearly quite profound and it must be incredibly tough. Concentrate on your wellbeing and know that you have a community of good people who are here for you.

EY up fella, sorry to hear your going through a bit of a bad time but it happens to us all and I've learnt recently myself that keeping that shit to yourself isn't the best idea, we all need a little help now and again. Glad to see you didn't reach for the booze and congrats on how well that's going. Hope you get it all sorted buddy.

Ooooooo I'd love to play! I accidently killed my Lizardfolk monk in the second session of my current campaign, so I'd love to play them again. I have them all set up on D&D Beyond, so I can send you that info once updated to level 5.

I think there are a lot of very "modern day" issues that are in conflict with the collective societal experience until very recently.  Can an individual determine their own gender when historically it's bestowed upon you by your society.  With a few exceptions, like the Castrati singers of Italy (eunuchs castrated before puberty to create singers with a man's frame and lungs and a boy's voicebox) gender and gender roles have been pretty much locked in by your sex.  Sexual orientation was a separate concept, whereas the plethora of genders some want society to accept are a hybrid of the two.

My personal guess is it's the societal equivalent of a fad and won't last for long before until it's pared back again.  It reminds me of the feminist fad of hyphenated last names for children that was briefly popular.  It's a way to show how progressive you are, but it's so cumbersome it collapses under it's own weight pretty quickly.

I suppose it depends on who's definition of gender you use.  Many use it, incorrectly, as a synonym for sex.  I think this largely started in the early 2000s when "harassment" was being pronounced hair-ess-mint because "sex" became a dirty word.  Gender was softer and more PC, despite not being the same thing.   Gender is a social and/or grammatical construct. Words in many language have a gender, they don't have a sex.  Sex is biological and exists with or without a culture.  Gender only exists with a culture.

That said, I understand this is such a political hot button now that pretty much nobody cares what words actually mean, or even acknowledge that words have meaning.  The ability to redefine words at will is a powerful propaganda advantage.

I love Spyro so much. It's just as much fun now as it was went I was a kid, though way prettier now. I have to giggle at bit at myself when I realize I've just make the same stupid mistake I made when I first played it. I fully intend on getting to 110% on the first game again.

Eh, I dunno. This is a pretty extreme example:  Ted Bundy's IQ was 136. Assuming he was never caught and/or jailed, why should his vote count more than the guy who dropout in grade 10, but works hard for his family and within his community? Again, yes, extreme example. I think your idea could be a slippery slope leading to some sort of caste system, though.

I just assumed that you meant IQ, but it seems more like you mean a test of an individuals awareness of politics and their influence in society, etc. That would make far more sense. There definitely are plenty of intelligent people out there that have their heads up their ass when it comes to things outside their little bubble.

I'm an admin assistant in a psychology office that specializes in treating veterans, those still serving, RCMP, ambulance and police dispatch, and first responders. Two of the three psychologists I work for also still have independent practice clients that don't fall within those parameters. We're less than a year old, so we're still ironing out some kinks and getting some things going, but we've had a good response so far. I majored in psychology in university and then went to college for administration, so this job is really the best of both worlds for me.

Previously I worked for a hospital as a clinical secretary in an off-site hemodialysis unit for 5 years and did a 1 year stint in their Privacy and Access office. That was a stressful year of intense impostor syndrome, but I learned some interesting things that I've brought to my current job.

So I don't feel confident healing dungeons my lvl, so started doing the first couple of dungeons to heal and get a feel for it.  Going to continue moving up the dungeon levels to try improve until I reach a point where I struggle or make us wipe.

Started this beast in 2010, but haven't worked on it in three years. Our house now doesn't really have a great spot that's both comfortable and has the right lighting, so knitting and now spinning has taken over. Though I have been thinking about it more and more in recent weeks.

I'm a bit further along than the above picture, but it gives a better idea of the size of it. This is where I've actually left off. I think it's a little over half way done.

I think Healbot is still around, but I'm not totally sure it's as widely used as it once was. Vuhdo basically is the same as far as I know. It's really easy to set up the key bindings. Just open the mod menu and your spell list and you can drag and drop to the key bindings you want. I can't remember the set up I have on my priest as I haven't play it in a while, but for my Shaman I put my most frequently used spells for my base clicks, add shift for my next most used, then ctrl, then alt for whatever I have left over like rezzing. When I set up my key bindings I like to stand around for a while to get a feel for them just on my own. The set up doesn't always work comfortably when actually playing so either ask for the group to stop for a minute to adjust to just make a note to yourself to do it afterwards or during some downtime.

In terms of actually healing I don't like to let people get too much below 75% health (unless I'm really bored and want to see how fast I can get them back to 100%). Most often I'll start healing people when they hit even 90%, that way if thing get a bit out of control or the tank loses threat it's less of an issue. Might be overkill, but I rarely lose anyone unless the shit really hits the fan. I like to keep Earth Shield (Shaman ability. I think there's a priest bubble that's similar) on my tank as they are usually taking the most direct damage, as well as a HoT (heal over time) if I can spare it. If the tank doesn't need it or there is someone else that's taking damage consistently I put my HoT on them for support. Don't feel obligated to heal hunter pets if you set up your healing frame to show them. I'm sure hunters appreciate when healers do heal their pets, but they should be your lowest priority and only if you have mana to spare. Also, and this is important, don't forget to heal yourself. I am so bad for that. I get tunnel vision in keeping everyone else alive that sometimes I find my heal had dropped lower than I would like.

If there's not much going on and you don't need to heal anyone don't be afraid to help out the dps. A little bit of extra damage is always welcome.

I really love healing. It's a fun challenge and can keep you on your toes at times. I hope you go for it and give it a go. Leveling up as a healer makes it so much faster to get in dungeons. If you have any other questions I'm happy to answer what I can. Icy-Veins is also pretty helpful, though it's directed more for characters at level cap.

Oh hai fellow stitcher! Look at that. WoW healers and stitchers! I love your Lion King stitch. I have no idea if pattern didn't have it or whatnot, but I love it without back stitching. It looks so much softer and more gentle.

Also, because of your adorable Squirtle needleminder may show you the Sprite Stitch forums as well as Lord Libian's Epic Pokemon cross stitches (though I have no doubt you have seen them elsewhere on the internets)
