  1. Ugh I hate that the only way to get Treasures of the Lost besides the final reward from Eva's questline is to buy them. Why can't I turn in treat bags and get tokens and then for every five to ten tokens get a treasure? Fucking microtransactions. /grump
  2. I played it last year on xbox one when I had one. If you like the first one, you'll like the second. It's not drastically different in any way, but does have it's improvements. There's a crafting aspect. You collect materials, I.e. tree branches, and you can craft your own arrows. Berries go towards health. In later game you get raw oil and can make specific arrows (I think it was arrows, might have been something else). In combat you can eventually craft what is basically a Molotov. I didn't often find myself running out of ammo. There's a survival dlc that comes with it. I haven't played it yet, but it looks interesting. Especially being in Siberia. That's all part of the challenge mode. With the challenge mode you replay levels for best score type thing. The anniversary edition comes with all the card packs, so there's lots of options to make the challenge easy or harder. Basically before you start the challenge you select a few cards (if you want) that alter total point percentage. For example, there's one that makes all enemies heads big. While hilarious to look at it decreases your points by 25%. There's another card that starts you off without any ammo and that increases your points by some percentage. Then there's the cards that are purely flavour; certain outfits, certain weapon skins, Lara trails a rainbow behind her (not even joking with that one). I really enjoyed it story wise as well. More history shrouded in mysticism. Perfect touch of both for my tastes. A comic series (I think there's possibly two different ones running right now) started right as the first game ended (which I haven't read) and leads in to a book (which I have read and wouldn't recommend. Story is good, but the writing leaves a lot to be desired) which then leads to this game. Basically what I'm saying is there is an aspect of the story that you might be like "who the fuck are these guys?", but that's not something a quick Google search won't solve. Soooooo, ya. I like this game.
  3. I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. I've never noticed a search function for usernames. The best I know of is if we all agree on a game to join or if we can find someone to DM one for us we can share the link to the specific game to join.
  4. It's a site that allows you to play tabletop rpgs online. You can join games with random people or you can form your own group. It's basically everything you would have in an actual physical tabletop game, but everything is digital. It has D&D, Warhammer, Pathfinder, and a ton of others.
  5. If it's a FG game, yes. Otherwise there are tons of other games to join in with.
  6. Yes. Would play. roll20.net. Let's do it.
  7. Looks like it's being developed by Tarsier. They made Little Big Planet and Tearaway.
  8. Not a movie, but I started watching Gotham last week. WHY did I wait so long? Sean Pertwee is amazing as Alfred and Robin Lord Taylor is both creepy and strangely endearing as Penguin. Doesn't seem to have too much love going for it, but I like it so I'm happy.
  9. It's like Madness Returns mixed with Unravel! Maybe with a hint of Bioshock?
  10. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyPrivateMatches/ My favourites so far are Hide-and-Seek, Tag, Head On A Swivel, Air Hockey, and Quidditch, but I haven't read that many yet.
  11. Animaniacs, Fraggle Rock, Under The Umbrella Tree, Today's Special (the book mice were the best), Darkwing Duck, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, Magic School Bus, probably others I can't think of. We had a weird mix of Canadian and American programing in our house.
  12. I think his review is a pretty accurate assessment. It's nice in small bursts, but could have so much more to it. It's a $20 games that we paid $90 for, and that honestly annoys me far more than anything. I knew nothing about the game beyond getting to go to different planets and explore, so not having all the promised content doesn't bother me in the same way. It just should not be the price it is for what you get to do. Unravel was only $20 and even though it's a much shorter game, it feels like there's more to do in it for the few hours of gameplay. That being said, probably will hold on to it for a while to play in small bursts... until something new comes out and we want to trade it in.
  13. 'Mericans, you can send all the Oreos you can find up to me No, seriously. I'm on my last package of s'mores oreos and they aren't up here anymore. It's a problem.
  14. Coincidence?
  15. Well, shit! That's exactly what I looking for! Thanks!
  16. Kind of a silly thing, but is there some way to jump to the last page of a topic with multiple pages like there was with the old theme? Am I simply missing the thing that does this? Also, thank you for adding the return to top. My finger is lazy and I don't like scrolling to the top when I don't have to =P
  17. In no particular order: Boston Legal, Stargate SG-1, Community, Futurama, and Band of Brothers. And extra one for when I'm especially bored and don't know what to have on in the background while I knit... Say Yes To The Dress. It is my shame.
  18. Damn people with their fancy phones that have PokeVision. Grumble, grumble, grumble.
  19. Honestly, losing the tracking didn't bother me at all as it never worked (up here?) in the first place. Hopefully whatever issues their having behind the scenes will be corrected when the release the Harry Potter game.
  20. Boston Legal is by far my favourite drama-dy. Even over ten years later the subject matter is still relevant. Plus you can't go wrong with James Spader dressed as a flamingo.
  21. I believe Chad already preordered it. I'm procrastinating because that's what I do.
  22. ... Chad has never watched Lord of the Rings (among many, many other movies). It's annoying. I can't make any references that aren't outside of the books.
  23. That's a trilogy that I'm keeping in the back of my mind to keep an eye out for cheap books. It looks like one that both Chad and I will enjoy. Also, why are so many fantasy books published as trilogies in the last few years? It's hard to find a single stand alone. We have so many damn series on the go now between the two of us.
