  1. PC!!
  2. Ya, if I did that I'm pretty sure he would delete my Skyrim characters or or something. Fortunately, I was able to just login under my profile so the fury will avoided.
  3. We finally went to see Force Awakens on Friday... and again Saturday... Safe to say we liked it.
  4. I had last Tuesday off work while Chad was left slaving away making money to be my sugar daddy. I decided to power up the ol' PS4 and, rather than playing LBP3 or Lego Dimensions or basically anything other than an FPS, I started up Destiny. And.... I'm not as terrible as I thought I was going to be. Yay.
  5. Yaaaaaaassssssss! Those pajamas! Thumbs up for the Rumors album as well. Chad got me this, but it hasn't arrived yet.
  6. Sound very interesting. Probably wouldn't read it based on the description on Goodreads, but you've peaked my interest. I just finished The Dark Tower Part III: The Waste Lands yesterday. I actually enjoyed this one. The first two books, especially the first, I was left with a feeling kind of like "what the hell did I just read? I don't know what's going on." Not really one for King, but this one has cinched that I will finished the series. Now back to the Thursday Next series.
  7. Oh, Pickles will come at some later date when we're settled at the new place and are ready-ish for a pup. Kids won't happen because then we would have to share our toys with them. Cheaper...ish. Deffinately in the long term they are as they're not too hard to feed.
  8. Plopp chocolate. Tee hee. I am five.
  9. Library book sales. Seriously. Went to one for the first time two years ago and got 14 books for just $24. Been going every year since then. Granted, it doesn't always have new releases, but that's where I grabbed American Gods and Good Omens (so I will be reading that as soon as my friend returns it). I can't remember how I heard about the Black Company series; probably when I was looking for books that are from the viewpoint of the villain, maybe? Either way, I'm excited to read them next year.
  10. It really seems like I've been seeing Mistborn all over the internet for the few months. I added it to my to-read list in September, but I feel like I've been seeing mentioned at an exponential rate since then. I guess the book gods are trying to tell me to read it soon. Reading American Gods right now. I truly get what all the hype is about it. I try not to feed into hype to much so I don't get disappointed. But if you like something that's a bit off beat and story driven it's a good one.
  11. I have an xbox one and just got gold. Chad and I both have an account on it and we are able to access anything that either of us buys via our accounts. For example, Chad bought some games on his 360 before we met. Because he has a profile on my xbox one I am able see, download, and play his games through my own account on the xbox one. This doesn't work on our 360's though. It's pretty niffty.
  12. Spaceballs. Always a classic.
  13. That puppy is adorable and I want to steal it. Or just cuddle and play.
  14. Chad's just finishing up Wise Man's Fear. He was pretty excited when he read about the movie. Though annoyed at the same time. It's kind of like what's going on with A Song of Ice and Fire, starting film production of some sort before the series is completely written. But then, who to say that The Name of the Wind is going to start filming any time soon. Jeff Bridges bought the right to The Giver in the 90's and it didn't get made for 15 years.
  15. Basically all really would like would be for Chad and I to get the keys to our new place a bit early. I just want to move and get it over with (5 1/2 weeks).
  16. Nice. Chad and I were looking at this trilogy as well. I've been digging the idea of books that are from the perspective of the villan. Yet more books to add to the never ending To-Read list...
  17. So terrible, but so beautiful. I actually saw it in theatre with one of my friends. We agreed that it's so bad it's good. Definitely a cult film. Also, the bits of "why am I wearing clothes?" and other questions that most people would actually ask were kind of awesome. Apparently there was plans for it to be a triology, but I highly doubt that the other two will see the light of day as films. I think the entire thing would probably be better as a graphic novel. It might not reach the same number of people, but at least you wouldn't have to deal with the silly random yelling of the one brother. But mostly it's a silly movie to be watched with large quantities of wine.
  18. I understood basically nothing techical there, but it looks awesome and now I want fish. Way to go. Looks awesome thus far. Also, I like that someone other than almost every tractor collector I know has antique oil laterns.
  19. Personally I tend to have to have a thing for weird shit... this is just too weird. I would go so far as to call it icky.
  20. Sorry, should have been clearer. The documentary, itself, is based on a book of the same name by Lawerence Wright.
  21. Smart man A book (The Trial by Franz Kafka)? Pshhhhh nothing new there... I mean... errrr
  22. I watched this earlier in the year with my mum. It's fasinating and terrifying at the same time. It kind of makes be hate people a bit more knowing that people buy into this (literally and figuratively). I believe it's based on a non-fiction book by the same name. I think it's burried somewhere in my insanely large to-read list.
  23. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Can't wait to game with you as well. Yes. I'm the crazy cat lady. I want to train Olympic lifts so bad, but, alas, don't have the money right now for any of the local trainers and I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough to teach myself with out hitting myself in the face or something. He has. It's... awkward...
  24. Hello All, Some of you may know me as Chad's girlfriend or the random voice/giggle in the background when he tries to be funny on Destiny. I want to be cool like you guys and be all involved and stuff. Or whatever. I game a bit as well. I was the one that started Chad on his Steam buying spree this year. I've never really preferred pc gaming, its just cheaper and easier to buy games there at this point. I'm also on my 360 a bit as well (not so much online seeing as internets at my place are shit). I'll probably, at some point, decide to embarrass/get pissed off with Destiny on my own profile on Chad's ps4. I don't do well with shooters with a controller; another reason for Steam. Oh, also downloaded Star Wars: The Old Republic again after deleting it shortly after release, so if anyone plays on The Harbinger let me know! And once upon a time I played WoW as well. As for non-gaming stuff I like to pretend that I'm strong and a powerlifter. I also like to pretend I'm a grandma by knitting, cross stitching, and yelling at kids to get off my lawn (or would if I had one). And I read a stupid amount. Aaaaand I'm learning to play ukulele, so be prepared to me tinking in the background from time to time. So, ya, that's me in a nutshell I guess. Hi! Sarah =D
