  1. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a digital card game based on the World of Warcraft TCG set in the Warcraft universe. Hearthstone is a free-to-play, online card game on the Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, iPad, and Android tablet platforms that anyone can play. Players choose to play as one of nine epic Warcraft heroes, and then take turns playing cards from their customizable decks to cast potent spells, use heroic weapons or abilities, or summon powerful characters to crush their opponent. 2. By the way the server I'm in is the Datacenter Aether, and the World is Cactuar. (NA server, if y'all end up enjoying it and want to go past the trial but need to go EU I'm fine with transferring)
  3. So a few hours in and my eyes kind of hurt. This is a true port of a PC MMO. The only gripe right now is the HUD controls, bringing up the map, checking out quests etc is a pain. But the nice part is the touch pad is like a laptop touch pad if you'd rather use that. The combat on a controller switching between skill bars with L2 and R2 is really fluid and well done. Combat is pretty fun. There is just so much information being thrown at you right off the bat. I chose a pugilist, in hopes to become a bard although I doubt I'll get that far in the trial. Pretty fun and if I played on console I would eventually use a mouth and keyboard I bet. So far very enjoyable! The game is rendered very well and no choppiness, load times are tiny.
  4. I had one negative experience on it so far. Although I do miss mouse and keyboard, which I could just hook up if need be.
  5. Haha that was my first hard core mmo, from beta I was in a world top 5 raiding guild. I left after the 4th raid was released.
  6. Dids is getting into ESO also, I'll create a new character since my Nightblade is in the veteran ranks.
  7. No worries, I read the other comments earlier. I don't believe we had the same experience but that's okay! (This is the old thread, I bumped it rather than start a new one)Personally I enjoy the game, and I only came into it when it had no subscription, little to no bugs and the horses weren't a cash grab as you explained. Everything with real cash in this game now is a skin or cosmetic. Proximity VOIP is annoying and I suggest disabling it. The Veteran dungeons and end game is challenging and enjoyable to me. Doing every quest in Daggerfall Covenant was around 300 hours to complete and I will agree you don't feel a personal connection to your character. There's a lot to explore like finding Skyshards or the anchors. It's like Skyrim meets Star Wars: The Old Republic.
  8. You didn't really mention why you damned the game so hard. To each their own but I believe the game is good, and I've seen and played the end game content. I've also never heard of Rifts but googling it either brought up some 2D game from 2005 or an RPG fro 1990.
  9. That's the biggest thing about the game as a whole. Early on the game was bad, when it went free to play and they started pumping loads of DLC and regular patches the game is wonderful but it didn't shake that stigma from early on. A lot of people say it's terrible without doing co-op dungeons or the veteran parts of the game. It's got a solid Reddit community also. I'll record some YouTube videos of my gameplay and y'all can see if it's your thing.
  10. Could I ask why you hated it? I put a solid 2 months into the game and it was really well done and enjoyable, especially the veteran dungeons. For an MMO with no subscription you're not going to beat ESO.
  11. Go get a corset on and let's go!
  12. Crafting & Traits. You must research an item, in order to unlock a trait for that item. For example, if you want to craft a bow with Precision Trait on it, you must first find a bow that already has the Precision Trait and then research it at the appropriate crafting table. Researching an item to learn its Trait will destroy that item. You have to unlock each trait for each item separately. So that means you really research a trait 8 times for 8 different armor slots. Research has a cooldown timer which varies per item based on how many traits you've already unlocked. The first time you research an item it takes 6 hours before it completes the Trait unlock. The time for each item after that doubles. Item 1 = 6 hours Item 2 = 12 hours Item 3 = 1 day Item 4 = 2 days Item 5 = 4 days Item 6 = 8 days Item 7 = 16 days Item 8 = 32 days Item 9 = 64 days Dungeons. Dungeons in Elder Scrolls Online are built for 4 players. There Is 1 Dungeon in every quest zone of every faction (excluding the starter areas). They usually consist of several mini bosses and one main boss (similar to almost all modern MMOs). Groups will most certainly need one player dedicated to healing (unless grossly over-leveled or over-geared). Tanking works a little differently than other MMOs, however. Tanks only have 1 or 2 forced taunts (skills that make a target attack you). These special dungeons are intended to be completed in coordinated groups and feature detailed quests. They can be accessed from any faction and at any level, and grant a skillpoint and achievements upon completion. Group dungeons have Normal and Veteran modes. Normal follows the character progression through the zones. Veteran is after level 49, and adds mechanics, difficulty and story to each dungeon, with the plus side of wonderful end-game loot. See our Veteran Content page for details!
  13. Diddums ran with my suggestion if we wanted to get into a "holy trinity" classic type of mmo (Healer, DPS, Tank) and one of the best ones out there right now is FFXIV. Loads of classes, one character can level up any class whenever they want and it involves huge, mechanically demanding raids end game. It is subscription based though, so the game has a lot of work into it with constant updates and new content being added. Subscription prices vary between 12.99 USD for 30 days, and then there is an entry and standard package depending on the number of characters you want. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/product/ Q: Is FFXIV cross-platform? A: Yes! PS users can play and interact with PC users. Q: Can I play the same character on PSN and PC? A: Yes you can, the catch is you have to pay for the PS and PC version (Buying the game twice). Your Square Enix account links with your Playstation and Steam account. Q: Can I use a mouse and keyboard/ controller? A: Yes you can use both.
  14. So there's been some mention of a new, almost tradition mmo we could get in on. If people are against a subscription fee this would be my recommendation. I have played this game a fair amount with a group of four and really enjoyed it. As a Destiny leveling comparison to get from "1-40" in ESO time is about 200-300 hours of gameplay. (ESO has a base leveling system, then when max level a VR or veteran rank level system, similar to Destiny and light levels) There are loads of dailies, guilds, crafting and massive worlds with dungeons both solo and group. They do the non instanced play better than most games I've seen. Dungeons have multiple difficulties and I've only been able to complete a few of the "hard ones" which were considered easy to seasoned players. 3 alliances, unless you buy the founders pack then any race can play in any alliance. 15. The new battlebots was really is also, I'm excited for robot wars. I love spinners and robots that use the spinning drums
  16. Cmon Tommy, we know a grizzly can't break your spine by standing directly on it... /s
  17. I pictured Scottish and more along the line of , "Jesus Christ what kind of monster do you take me for?"
  18. This was a big deal. Amazon Prime in general is well worth the 99/year. The 20% is huge. I'm not a fan of GameStop and things like this hurt them badly.
  19. The game is afoot! Bart set her up
  20. ...no
  21. I don't think TNMT or Super Mario RPG can be beat
  22. The fun part now is to completely switch roles to learn it from a new perspective.
  23. Beat me to the draw! Well done, and thanks for giving the videos link.
