    Exciting week for me this week. A new patch drops on Thursday. This will (a) introduce a new map, Interstate, and (b) be the first iteration of the game on the 'new' engine. I believe it's a new version of Unity but I'll confirm that later. Oh yes, and (c) the lag spikes on the Shoreline map should be sorted. Fucking love this game.

    Aaar I think I'm so used to early access games now I don't have a problem with waiting. But it's not supposed to be early access. For the price we paid they need to sort it out content-wise.

    Getting closer, hoping this goes live (or at least in experimental servers) very soon, it's been a long wait.

    The patch has been patched Plays a lot better for me. I've noticed if I get lag now, it's probably the server, logging out and into another server has worked on these occasions. Having said that, I still find lag spikes in Port Olisar.

    Not related the current fucknuggetry over Syria, this is a classic for the 90s. Highly recommend the comedy/satire of Chris Morris in general.

    Don't be afraid of the Woolwich pikeys losing, I'd prefer them losing in the final but the semi will do. Bayern for the Champions League in my opinion. No mess, no fuss, just pure impact.     All UK businesses should have been aware of this for a while now. I bet many won't be compliant. There's a lot of work involved. In my workplace we've been preparing for a while now. I provide assessment analysis data. I pull in student details with the data but now have to delete it before sharing.     My only thoughts on this are regarding CPU. Like Dave says, 16gb RAM is a good start and I agree with Rib that the 1050 is decent enough, though a lot of games are looking for 3gb+ GPUs lately even on low settings. My 770 is only 2gb and I'm starting to notice that. What seems to give me better performance than my card merits is my CPU. It's old now, a 4770K i7. But it's hyperthreaded and the clock speed is precisely 4.39ghz. I play games at settings higher than Nvidia's suggested settings with frames hitting three figures. I think that a new build is in order though to be frank, unless you want to be having the same conversation in a year or so. Games are demanding more and more and I only see this rising. I've not had to spend a penny on my PC since I bought it 5 years ago but I'm going to have to upgrade the GPU pretty soon if I want my games to run well, and be pretty of course.     Sorry man (and @Diddums), I've done some looking into it. Other than SSD install being essential, anything under 16GB RAM and you'll have issues from what I can see

    It's a building game Lee, with some random shooting thrown in to give it the appearance of being a shooter. Don't build a castle is my advice. Maybe you need to be a builder and a town planner to do well in this game. Then when twatty comes and knocks on your door you can blow him away at short range, no shooting skill needed.
