  1. I remember getting this game for xmas and staying up playing it with my brother till late, although i was young so was probably only around 11ish We got to the hall way before the last boss and just before we walked into the main room, these trap doors opened up and we went back a level. Was so frustrating at the time but looking back, it was probably one of the first trolls ever. I think i've completed the game about 5 times in total and i still play it occasionally. Just remembered the boat level where you have all the guy juggling fire and axes and then you had the super speedy woman who would jump about everywhere kicking your ass. This game is in my top 10 for sure.
  2. Really looking forward to this! Have been gripped by Tell Tale since the Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead, such great games! I really enjoyed the film, so have high hopes for this.
  3. Random tips: - Search tree stumps for loot, they can contain some really decent items. - When you're in a supermarket or some other shop, you may find cardboard boxes that you can search and other wooden boxes that you can't. You need to break the wooden boxes as there are cardboard ones inside. - Make coffee at early stages (if found) and always carry it on you, you don't loose stamina after having drunk it for quite a while. Could be the difference when trying to get home before 10:00. It will also helps when mining at early levels. - Look out for wall safes in offices, they're only small and easily missed. - Use the wrench for dismantling cars and other machinery, you will getting better resources by doing this and may find some interesting things. - If you're away from base with a fire but no cooking pot, you can use a tin can to boil water you have collected in it. - And most importantly, don't say you've got the auger when you haven't got all the parts. Not naming any names.......Adam!
  4. Surviving Your First Horde Night: Hordes arrive from 22:00 - 06:00, every 7 days. Some horde nights can be hectic but occasionally they can be a little quiet. The import thing to remember about horde nights is that they will come for you from all angles, so don't concentrate on one side of your base with out checking the rest. I've had anything from 10 zombies to 50+, you want to make sure you've got a secure base with that amount! On one occasion there's been so many zombies that they've started to pile up on top of each other, almost to the point they could get over the wall that runs around the perimeter of the base. Most the time they will try and break down walls, doors, hatches etc The only way to combat this is to upgrade as much as you can and make it harder for them to bust through. The one zombie that can get around this is the spider zombie This dude can climb walls no problem, which can be a major issue. The best way to stop this is to either kill them before they get to the top or build an overhang, he can only travel vertically so this stops him from getting over. (Video coming soon) Spikes will be your best friend during horde nights, lay them everywhere around your base. Spikes will stop and slow zombies down but sometimes crawlers get through uninvited. I find it best to try and take the zombies done before they do too much damage to your spikes, otherwise you'll find you'll be replacing them a hell of a lot. Just make sure you're counting your days till horde night and don't get left out in the open when it starts. Leading up to horde night: Make sure you're fully stocked on resources, spikes, arrows, anything you think you may need for a horde night. Craft your arrows and make your spikes before hand, so you're not having to mess about whilst they're attacking. Also make sure you're fully fed and hydrated. Happy surviving!
  5. Adam makes a good point. I'd say all schematics are worth reading, you might as well read them as they boost your skills even if you don't end up crafting them. I'm sure you will though. Phil's already said the best places to find them but in the main city I think there's a book shop which should hold quite a lot of schematics.
  6. 😂 It was a one way road...... Great games last night, could do with another session soon.
  7. Welcome survivors! Here I'll be posting helpful tips on the game that should, hopefully, make your lives easier when surviving. I'll go through everything from bases, to crafting, to farming and much more. I can see this being played a lot especially as they're adding content as we go, not entirely sure how long it'll be till the console version is like the PC version but hopefully not long. WARNING: I go into a bit of depth in some places, so if you wanted to find things out for yourself and keep things a mystery, i probably wouldn't read this. Surviving Your First 6 Nights: Happy surviving!
  8. As you got 7 days I'll definitely pick this up 😘
  9. Nice photos dude, the third one looks amazing! Not sure how you managed to fit that whole hot dog in your mouth in the 12th one. Love the sunset in the 14th one. Looks scary, did it kill you (25.45th one)? Looks like you had fun!
  10. Cheers dude, that's exactly what i was looking to do. I know people will still stream on their channel but would be nice for us all to be in the same place....ish....kinda.
  11. Hey all, i've set up a twitch account under the Forever Gaming name. Unfortunately forevergaming721793579713498301281 was taken, so our name is FG_Streams. I know people have their own twitch account but if people would like to use this, maybe if there's a few of us on, then please contact me and i'll shoot you the details. I'm going to look into whether we can link Twitch accounts together, not sure it's possible but worth a look. Channel = www.twitch.tv/fg_streams Cheers and happy Friday all.
  12. Mircomachines league! Must be done 🙂 Spider was my dude too 😄 Definitely looking forward to this one.
  13. Con = doesn't work on iPhone 😂
  14. I had it on the Mega Drive, some serious fun was had whilst playing that game! I remember you could create your own tracks, hope they bring that back!
  15. There's a serious lack of hype
  16. That would be fucking sweet dude!
  17. Sweet, sounds good! Would you mind if i used your intro for FG, would love to start throwing it at the start of my videos as it's pretty damn cool?
  18. Very nice Lee! I see me and Dave have our own comic
  19. The only issue with that is you will loose quality, each line will be getting 25% so you're probably looking at between a 6-7 dB loss on each line. (Just looked this up and it's 7 dB, you loose 3.5 db on each line per split. You can always crank this up later but it'll definitely be worth running some tests on it. In terms of editing software, i bought myself this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Movie-Studio-13-Platinum-x/dp/B00HRQB216/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489498789&sr=8-1&keywords=sony+platinum+editing Well cheap and does everything i need it to do. It will be missing loads of features that other more expensive software's have but for beginners i think it's perfect.
  20. Nice stretch! You got some serious good blocks in there, loved the bit where you floored three of them in one go 😄
